    Leaking Toilet

My wife and I are avid DYIs and in the process of fixing one plumbing problem (successfully I might add) we discovered another problem that was beyond our skills. We made an emergency call to water works and they had someone to our house within a couple hours (on a Sunday)! The customer service person on the office phone was very friendly and helpful. Michael (the plumber who came to our house) was great. Very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He not only fixed our problem but he took the time to talk to us about other problems we have and he showed us around our furnace room and explained the various shut off valves etc.

    Main Drain Blockage

We had just finished renovating our basement one month prior to the blockage. We received a prior quote from another company who insisted that the ONLY solution was to rip up the entire basement and replace the entire main drain and the quoted price (outrageous) was only valid if we signed immediately without obtaining another quote. When Michael arrived the next day - we explained the situation, advised that we had received another quote and wanted his opinion on solutions. He was prompt, very professional and honest in his opinion regarding our options. When the work was competed the next day, the work crew was, once again prompt, courteous, worked very quickkly and completed a large job in one day and cleaned up the site properly before they left. It was a pleasure and made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with. I would have no hesitation recommending Michael and Water Works.

Hi Sean in Deer Park, Thank you so much for sharing this detailed review. We hear time and time again where the many of other "guys" try to sell more work than is actually needed. This seems to be a very common practise in our industry and I truly dislike this way of doing business. At The Water Works we only recommend what actually needs doing, nothing more-nothing less. Our policy is we treat people the way we want to be treated.(The Golden Rule). Thanks for using our services and we would be pleased to be of service to you, your family and friends. Fixing a leaky stop valve

Very impressed with the courteous service from when we made the actual service call to completion of the work. Special thanks to Lauren the dispatcher and George the plumber. The work was completed in just over 24 hours. There was a delay in the plumber arriving due to another job but Lauren called 30 minutes before the possible start time to let us know and we then received a headsup on the same day that the plumber was on his way. Thank you Waterworks!

    Drain blockage in Laundry room

I called Water Works on Friday 23rd, 2010 in the morning after noticing a blockage in our basement main drain by the laundry. Having had some bad experiences with contractors in the past and loosing a lot of money I was a little apprehensive and distrusting to be honest. Michael was very responsive and showed up when he said. His team arrived when he said they would and worked diligently all day Saturday. Even though I have given water works a 10 I do have some constructive critism however. There was a language barrier with the team on site and myself which prevented me for getting an understanding of what was being done and why and it did cause some concerns and problems. Also part of the job included removal of an old laundry sink and re-plumbing in a new one @ $1422.07, I did end up stopping this part of the job as I thought this was rather excessive and my expectations were not met. My point being I think Michael should break down his price structure for each category of work so the customer can understand the exact cost of things, for example I would have never paid $300 to remove an old sink had I known. I ended up buying my own sink and plumbing it in myself. Having said all this I can see Michael takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. I think he shows great integrity, something rare in the contractor business hence why I will use him again and why I rated Water Works a ten. His prices are on the high side but he was willing to work with me a little bit on that. The bottom line I trust him and will use Water Works again.

    Leaky Pipe and New toilet

Michael was a wealth of information. He proposed several scenarios as to the best way to solve our leaky pipe problem. He also replaced our old toilet. Needless to mention he did a fabulous job. Another thing I appreciate about water works is that they are very reliable and if there are any problems after they have finished the job, they will come back out and fix them for you. Thank you Michael and as very satisfied customer we highly recommend water works to anyone.

Plumbing repair - Shut off valve

This is my second experience with Waterworks Plumbing, as well as my second review of their services (12Oct'09). I'd like to thank everyone for assisting me with a broken shut-off valve which needed replacing last week. With spring now in full swing, I'd turned the water back on for the outside garden hose. Unfortunately, the shut off valve in our basement was the original, and finally wore out causing water to leak from it quite rapidly. This occurred around 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon, so I wondered how much luck I'd have getting the problem fixed right away. Fortunately, I was able to speak with Lauren at Waterworks and explained to her my predicament. I'm sure they receive these calls often, because Lauren assured me that someone would arrive at our home quickly to address the problem. Well, it didn't take long for George (plumber) to respond, and with the replacement parts already with him, he installed a new shut-off valve in no time. Great job George, and thanks again to Waterworks Plumbing.
