New water service to save tree & garden

Years ago my neighbour & I landscaped our front yards with 2 Honey Locust trees and an ornamental crab apple. They have grown to be almost twice the height of the house and provide privacy and shade to the house. As part of water main replacement Toronto, the mature trees were threatened because the plan was to dig too close to the trees. Despite emails to my city councillor and Urban Forestry, there didn't seem to be any way I could negotiate to save the trees. Michael negotiated with the city contractor to put a new line under my parking pad. This should save my trees and retain my property value. The staff at Water Works are polite, efficient and very professional. Now that I've found Water Works, I plan on using them to replace some bathroom fixtures that don't work very well.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Julia, thank you for choosing us to solve this problem.I would of also been dissapointed if the City would have wiped out your beautiful trees and landscaping. Collaboratively we came up with a great idea of re-locating the water service line to a completely new location. The city contractor and yourself were very helpful. Thanks! replace faucets

Thought everything was great - a bit expensive, not everyone can afford them - but very professional, arrives on time and did exactly what was agreed to. It seems to em the warrantee that comes with the work is very good. The fellow who did the work was great - and he was ok with my dog!

    Leaking exterior water

We had a chronic leaking basement problem for 12 years now.We called in our regular plumber from Water Works and they offered the most sensible and cost effective solution possible. The engineer recommended to regrade our property for 10s of thousand of dollars.Michael came up with an ingenious solution of installing a sump pit, pump, and internal weeping pipes that work like a charm. Our basement is currently drying up and will be totally dry in the next few days.I can whole heartedly recommend this company to any one who could use this kind of care and expertise. Thanks Guys! Dr.J.T.

    Kitchen Drain Pipe Repair

A bad brass p-trap cracked in our kitchen a few days agao, and with busy schedules that make it touch to book a plumber on short notice we read up and went with Waterworks. We're glad we did. We called late last night and they sent Rob over first thing this morning who did an amazing job fixing the problem. He even clean-up not only his mess, but some other crud that was under sthe sink too. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for immediate plumbing work done.

    laundry room pipe leak

We just got a new washer and dryer delivered and when we hooked up the washer the hot/cold attachment valves began leaking - the valves and piping were quite old. They leaked when they were open and even moreso when they were closed. Needing someone right away I did an online search and found closeby plumbers. First place I called couldnl't come until the next day. Then I called WaterWorks and they asked my address and said they could have someone over in 2 hours. Just under 2 hours later Robert arrived - an awesome guy! Very nice, took me through the problem along with suggested work to resolve my leak - valve replacement. Seeing that the new washer had short rubber hoses he also offered to replace those to longer flexible mesh without charge - this allowed us to move the washer further from the water source. In less than 2 hours all the work was done and now we're doing our first load of laundry. Hopefully I don't have any more emergency plumbing work - but, if I do I'll call for Robert at WaterWorks.
