    Sump pumps not working.

I found Water works on line and I am glad i used them. The plumber came to our home and found that our 15 year old pump was not working and probably saved us from a flooded basement. They installed a new sump pump system with a battery back up system and alarm. He was neat, kind and honest.I like those qualities in a person.I would definitely recommend this company to all. Thanks,Marisa L. sump pump and sump pumb drain

Our drain for sump pump was cut by Hydro while they did some work on our lawn. Waterworks put in a new sump pump, a marine grade battery run back up sump pump, a drain with a tracer cable, The job was done very professionally. Our original sump pump as it turns out was from Canadian Tire. I wouldn't hesitate to call Waterworks again. Susan, Don Mills

replace main drain and reconfigure gas line

Our advice ... get a second opinion on price! Michael, from Waterworks, responded quickly to our request for a quote to replace our main drain. He charged us $60 for the quote and suggested a camera inspection for $300, non-refundable if given the contract. Then he quoted a total of over $8000 for the job (including HST). Considering the cost we called another well-rated Homestars company. They came quickly, gave us a free quote, gave us a free camera inspection voluntarily, and quoted just under $6000 (including HST) for the job. We hired the second bidder who did a super job in quick time. We also needed a short length of gas line reconfigured between the meter and the house. Michael, from Waterworks, quoted $2000. Again we asked for a second opinion from a different well-rated Homestars company. They also came promptly, quoted $300, and got the job. They also did great work. So, thanks to Homestars, we have two jobs completed very well. As for Waterworks ... they likely do good work too, but check their prices!

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for the business opportunity. However I happened to be working at a home near yours and noticed why you got cheaper pricing. There are several things wrong with those jobs. You can't expect top quality when the price is your only consideration."Good Work Ain't Cheap,And Cheap Work Ain't Good.

    refitting plumbing for water meter

Our plumber Michael was fantastic! Friendly, courteous and willing to answer all our questions. The work was done quickly and neatly. Michael even waited for the city to come and turn our water back on to make sure everything was fine. Thanks also to Lisa, who was great on the phone and kept us updated regularly. We highly recommend WaterWorks and will not hesitate to have Michael back with any other plumbing matters!

    Kitchen/Bathroom - Installation

The plumbing category for Homestars is extremely competitive as i had found it.. 9098+ reviews with a 9.8 rating.. WOW!!!! And that sound like a reliable company. B4 this company came we made a blueprint for our basement suggest 1 kitchen with lines for the dishwasher and sink, and 2 bathrooms which included a shower, toilet and sink. Waterworks had done a great job in supplying strong, tough, and durable equipment. There crew came on time and delivered great services. I definitely recommend this company to everyone. Im definitely gonna use such services again.

    Fixing another Plumbers mistakes

The plumber called asking if he could come by sooner seeing he was ahead of himself that day. Rogers Cable can learn a few things from Waterworks in client service! He saw the problem we had which was sub par repairs from the plumber my building manager recommended to us….within 30 mins it was replaced and working great. Friendly, quick and reasonable prices. I would recommend anyone to Waterworks.

    Answer from pro:

Hi John M in Toronto - Oh My! You gave a chuckle with your comment. I think that we have all fallen victim to that "waiting, waiting ....still waiting " for the cable guy scenario. We do stay in touch with our customers, keeping them informed of any delays. We respect the fact that you are busy and time is valuable. Once they arrive, our Technicians are quick and clean in their work, allowing you to get back to the important stuff! Thanks for the smile - From the Team @ Water Works Plumbing & Drains Inc.

    repair leaky pipe

They are very busy so it took a week from when I called before mthey could show up at my door. The work was professionally done and I am pleased with the results so far. The problem was related to the iinatallation of a new dishwashr by Sears, where they just reused all the old connections - one that broke and caused the problems with the leak and cleaning up poddles twice a day. I guess that Sears installs are going for the least expensive. WaterWorks found the problem quickly and repaired quickly. We, also discussed other work we may want in the future and got an idea of pricing

    Answer from pro:

Hi Freda in Scarborough - We can appreciate how unhappy you must have been once realizing that there was a problem with a previous installation done by another service provider. You are correct when you say that cheaper is not always better. Our Techs work efficiently to get the job done right - the first time. You also make another excellent point, we always encourage customers to have a list of their plumbing concerns ready for when we arrive so that your time is used wisely. Thank you from the Team @ Water Works Plumbing & Drains Inc.
