A neighbour recommended that Steve at Durham Doors talk to us about our badly damaged garage door. He looked at it, told us the problem, answered all our questions, quoted a fair price and had the door installed within two or three weeks. Steve was very helpful in showing us how much of the garage had to be clear for the installer. The installer was one of the most professional I have come across. Showed up when he said he was going to. Had the old door out and the new one in in no time. Left the work area spotless. No mess. I had paid a little extra to have a board replaced around the door frame. Turned out it was unnecessary. Steve came around later and refunded the extra money personally. I have already recommended Durham Doors to my neighbour who is having his door replaced by them. In all respects, one of the best home improvement organizations I have dealt with. Highly recommend them.

I had 2 garage door openers installed. The doors were not installed properly the first time by the original home owner. However, Bill was able to correct the problem while keeping my cost low. I would definitely recommend them.

From the salesperson to the installer we were very satisfied. The door looks and operates great. We will be getting a garage door opener installed by Durham Doors in the future. We highly recommend them.

order double garge door , he took off the old door and when he went to put it on the one , it was the wrong door ,the poor guy had to put the old door back on. when the right door came , he did a great job puutin it on.

We decided to go with Durham Doors after getting about five (5) other quotations due to the fact Steve was the only one that actually had the patience to answer all our questions without being sarcastic or a smart alec and left room for bargaining. The price was just right for an upscale door and the installation was impressively smooth, professional and clean (love the capping). We got a free upgrade to our door opener due to unavailability of quoted part (some other companies will delay your installation till they get what you paid for). We already recommended their services to some of our friends.

We hired them on referral of a client of our own and found the service and product to be great. I love the new look and the installers were very quiet, clean, and professional. A huge thanks to Peter and Steve for displacing my fears of finding another good company out there. Cheers!

Last fall we had Durham Doors replace our 20 year old wood sectional garage door with an insulated door for our double door garage. However, because the upper right and left corners of the door frame are on a 45 degree angle, they could not use their typical weather stripping. However, after 6 months it was evident that the initial weather stripping was not working. Peter did not hesitate. He personally came out with an assistant and was able this time to install the superiour weather stripping, the type that hides the screws used to affix the weather stripping to the wood frame. Thanks, Peter!
