We had a broken spring that was repaired by another company. Within 2 weeks, they had to come back, and when it broke again, we called Durham Garage Doors. The problem is fixed, Jason was awesome and the price was right. I'm a happy customer:o))

I contacted Durham Doors to fix our broken garage door cable and to reset our industrial garage door opener's settings box. Both Jason and Chris came out and the problem was fixed quickly and efficiently. Durham Doors actually installed my garage door last summer 2012. We moved into our new house that same summer and although it has been one year I wanted to give credit where credit is due. After getting quotes, I decided to choose Durham Doors for the price and the products they are offering. I was fearful at first as I did not see alot of reviews of this company - rethinking as their prices and products were slightly lower compared to the other quotes. The saleman, I wish I could remember his name, was not pushy at all - he really took the time to determine what I want based on my budget - for that matter, we even went outside in our street to see other garage doors just to have a better idea of their products that are similar in color, designed etc. From that sales experience and given they were a local company in the area where I live, I decided to give them a chance compared to the big retailers. The installation, a father and son, went really smoothly. They hauled my old garage door and cleaned up after they were done. They showed thereafter how to operate the door esp in time there was no power as I had no inside access to my garage. I am really glad that I decided on Durham Doors. Cable on one side rotted and broke. Garage door couldn't close the entire way. Richard sent someone right away. I got stuck at work and missed the appointment. They promptly came back the next day and fixed the issue in no time. Chris tested the door to ensure it was working the way it should and gave me a pointer on how to prevent the same issue from happening in the future. Prompt, efficient service. We had Durham Doors install 3 high end Richards-Wilcox Garage Doors and 3 high-end Liftmaster garage door openers at our home in Ajax. In a few words, they did a fantastic job, from ensuring the product was exactly as ordered, to installation, to the completion of hardware and trim finishing. They were reliable, trustworthy, responsive and practical to deal with, and we found their pricing to be competitive. We would not hesitate to recommend Durham Doors to any of our friends and neighbours. We were very pleased.

My car had a minor collision with my garage door which resulted in the door coming off one of the tracks and a cable being disconnected. Chris was there within 2 hours of my call and repaired the door in 30 minutes. He took the time to make sure it was working to his satisfaction. The door now closes better than it did before the accident and the cost was much less than I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend this company.

The spring on one of our 2 garage doors broke. We look at reviews and call for prices and Durham Doors was the best for responsiveness and price. They came the same day and fixed it for the price they said. Very nice transaction I will use them again and highly recommend them.

The garage door spring broke Friday afternoon. We called Richard at Durham Doors that day and were able to get service scheduled the next day. They called us back on Friday night to confirm that they will be over on Saturday between noon and 2pm at a fixed price. They showed up on time, and the gentleman who serviced the garage door was very courteous, and did the work efficiently. Richard showed up towards the end of the service call to check up and all was well. We were very happy with the service.
