    New roof and dormer repairs.

    We found Luc's Roofing Ltd. on homestars.com, and chose their services based on a list of criteria that we had compiled. Unlike the guys from other roofing companies that came by to give an estimate, Luc Corriveau climbed up to our roof to get a close inspection, before giving us a written estimate the next day. We found Luc to be very professional, polite and informative in helping us determine our ultimate choice of materials. Luc's crew removed three layers of old shingles, replaced rotten wood, put down a new roof and rebuilt two dormers that were falling apart. Their workmanship was of the highest quality. Despite a delay due to inclement weather, they finished the job on time. One of the things that struck us the most was how clean the job site was, after the work was done. We highly recommend Luc's Roofing Ltd. for their professionalism, workmanship and customer service.

    New roof

    The eighteen year-old roof on my bungalow began shedding shingles in a recent wind storm, and Luc's Roofing was highly recommended from a friend in Cabbagetown. Luc came by and got on the roof to take a look. There were no leaks, and Luc said we could wait a little while to replace the roof, though it was beginning to look quite rough in some areas. Given the age of the roof, I decided to replace the roof before the problems started. After getting a second estimate, I called Luc for the work, though it was a bit higher in price. The two guys on Luc's crew were very considerate of our property and of our neighbours' property (the homes are very close together) and I was very impressed with their work and, important to me, the thorough cleanup afterwards. I've had many contractors in and out of the house over the years, and Luc is one of the great ones. I highly recommend this company.

    Roof Inspection and Preventive Maintenance

    I had recently purchased a home in the East York area and wanted to make sure that the roof was in good shape. A friend of mine had recommended Luc's Roofing as he had used them for his own roofing need. Ben Corriveau had come by my house the day after I called for an inspection. He was polite and very friendly. He completed the roof inspection and told me the roof was in good shape, but he wanted to do some preventive maintenance to prolong the life of the roof. He brought his crew in to do the work and they were very through and efficient. I would recommend using Luc's roofing and would use them again.

    Outstanding Craftsmanship and Service

    I've used Luc's Roofing for all my roofing work over the last 10 years. Luc and his staff are artisans and craftsmen. They bring a level of thoughtfulness and diligence to their work that you won't often see in any line of work. They just reshingled our roof and it looks fantastic. Their customer service is also amazing. Jobs are started on time and completed on time, everything is cleaned up perfectly and all care is taken to avoid damage to adjoining properties. Once, I hired Luc's to do a two-day repair job. During the night after the first day, we were hit with an unexpected downpour. Just when I was starting to worry about the effect of the rain, I heard a sound on the roof. It was Luc himself, up there in the driving rain, putting down tarps to protect the roof until the crew could finish it the next day. Luc's Roofing will get all of my roofing business in the future.

    We'd happily recommend Luc's

    After finding a leak in one of our upstairs bedrooms, we asked our neighbours for a referral of a roofing company. They had their roof replaced last fall and had been extremely satisfied with the company they used. After also checking the company our on Homestars we had Lucs Roofing come in to do the work. They replaced the flashing around both our chimneys along with replacing the flat section of our roof which was not previously done by the previous owners. Ben Corriveau was the representative who we dealt with and we could have been not be happier with his service. He was extremely communicative at all times of the process, clearly explaining the prognosis and required work. He provided photos both before and after the work was done to help us understand what work was performed. The team which was sent in was very polite and efficient. They were also extremely tidy at all times of the process and left our yard and driveway spotless once the job was done. We'd happily recommend Lucs Roofing anytime.

    Roof Repair

    I would like to commend both Luc and his men for the excellent workmanship and care given to the repair and replacement of my roof. It was not only done to the best of standards, but done in a timely manner with of no inconvenience to myself, my family, or my neighbours. An absolute pleasure. D.Q.

    Flat roof replacement, roof insulation and skylight

    Due to a poor roofing job I had done eight years ago my flat roof was leaking and causing damage. Luc was recommended to me and I could not have asked for a better contractor. He showed up quickly and right on time and explained exactly what was needed and what options were available and soon sent me a fair estimate. We hired him to replace the entire flat roof, frame and raise it to accomodate six inches of insulation, and install a new skylight. The crew arrived the first non-snow day and were working away at 7:45 am. At 5:45 pm they ended their first day. By 4:00pm the next day they were completed. I have never seen two guys work as hard as they did. And when they left you would never have known they were even here, they left the place spotless. A few days later Luc visited again and we climbed to the roof and he detailed to me the work that was done. He is clearly a professional who takes great pride in the work his crews perform. I have already recommended Luc to others and will continue to do so. Thank you Luc for a great job!

    Roof leak on flat roof

    I found Luc's on HomeStars last year when I needed my porch roof replaced on my 100 year old semi. Luc gave me a very clear explanation of what needed to be done and a reasonable price ($1700). The work was done in one day, including changing out two rafters and the clean up was so thorough that when I arrived home from work I couldn't believe that it had been done! It's been a year and the roof is leak free. In early March 2011 there were three big rainstorms that caused my main flat roof (not done by Luc's it was done shortly before I bought the house) to leak. I was so satisfied with their previous work that I decided to not event take quotes and only called Luc. I called him yesterday (Monday) and Luc's son Ben arrived at my house the very next day (Tuesday). Like his dad, Ben provided a clear explanation of what repairs were required and quoted me $200 to do an emergency repair. Here's the best part: he did it right away! He arrived at 2:30 and was done by 3:00. I can't think of how he could have provided better service. Thanks sooooo much Ben and Luc!

    Roof and Eavestroughs

    I live in a typical Toronto semi with a shingled roof in front and flat roof in the back. Anyway, the shingled part of the roof was in bad shape and started to leak so I got a few quotes from roofers including Home Depot (someone had recommended them to me). Each roofer told me the same thing and all of the quotes were in the same ballpark, except for Home Depot who were almost a 1000 over the rest! Luc's quote wasn't the cheapest, but I really enjoyed talking to his son, Ben, and was willing to pay an extra few hundred bucks for friendly and responsive service; Ben would always reply to my emails within a few hours. His crew did an amazing job. They were very fast and even fixed a few other problem areas at no extra cost. I have no hesitation recommending Luc's Roofing.

    Replace Flashing on Front of House

    The front flashing of my house came off and needed to be replaced. I have a flat roof and needed someone to come quickly and help as soon as possible. Luc's roofing was timely, honest and did everything they said they were going to do on time and under budget. Their quote was very fair and I felt safe in their hands. It is very rare that contractors show up on time and leave you with nothing to worry about - I had a headache free experience and this was greatly greatly appreciated. I would recommend Luc's roofing to anyone needing work done well and on time. Thank you once again.
