    Attic insulation

    This company was excellent to work with. I had my attic insulation increased from R20 to R50 with blown cellulose. Booking was easy and efficient. The crew showed up on time. They did a quality job, including some touch-up additional cellulose in one area I pointed out. They cleaned up after themselves as well. I would recommend them to anyone who needs attic insulation.

    Attic Insulation

    Had my attic R value increased to R50 from R20. Zdenek and his assistant were very punctual. Prep work was good (laying cloth down and covering the closet with plastic). However, the front door was open, b/c of the hose, the whole time. They should have covered the opening with a cloth or something to prevent heat loss. Also, charges extra for baffles (20 for $50) and did not staple them to the roof between rafters. Also had to remind them to insulate the attic cover. Which they did with some old fiberglass batting. Did not weatherstrip the attic opening even though they said they would. Used the 120 dryer plug to operate their blower, no problem, but please move the dryer and washer back the way you found it after you're done! Overall, the price seemed fair but hard to believe a company that claims to be around for 16yrs overlooks all these details. Bottomline: I would recommend this company but they should take a little more care & time in doing the job right.

    At Zenic Insulation, we strive to provide the best service possible for our customers. It is unfortunate that we haven’t exceeded your expectations. As you may be aware, it is required to run a hose through your house from the outside. This being said, we do require an opening into your house (door or window) that is at least 3”. Although you may lose a small amount of heat through the opening, adding a cloth or cover would provide very little in mitigating this heat loss, as it would not provide a sufficient seal anyway. And since the jobs require us to move in and out for set up and tear down, having the door opened a crack for an hour or so is very little cause for concern. For future reference, if losing a bit of heat from the openings is an issue, we suggest turning the furnace down, or off and restarting it when the job is finished. Yes, baffles are an extra charge. As many homes already have baffles pre-installed, this is an extra service we provide. It is imperative to have proper ventilation in your attic, as the lack of it would run you into moisture, rot, and mold problems, which could be harmful to the residents inside and could burden the homeowner with substantial repair and cleaning costs. So $50 is a small price to have these installed. Every house that is insulated by us is fitted with a weather-stripped and insulated access hatch free of charge. Even if the door has old weather-strip, we’ll still replace it. And as it is a free service that is provided at every job, we appreciate the reminder. We have been in the business for over 16 years and provide a service that often exceeds the expectations of our customers.     Attic Insulation

    Our attic insulation needed to be topped up to R50. Zenic and his assistant were both friendly and professional and his price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure to have him do work for us, no complaints, would recommend to others. They put cloth down to protect the floors from the tubing, made an inspection of the attic space beforehand to make sure everything was in good working order, and completed blowing in cellulose into the attic in a very timely manner. Upper floor is noticeably warmer.

    Attic Insulation and Ventilation Repair

    2nd Floor bathroom vent dripping. Roofer that replaced my roof and installed Solar Tube inspected & said not his fault call insulation company. Called Zenic a few days before Christmas, came on the eve. Fixed vent, advise, improve, added insul to R50. Clean, Tidy, knowledgeable. Problem fixed

    Attic Insulation

    We needed attic insulation for our flat roofed house. Zenic came in and blew in cellulose to increase our insulation to R50. They put in baffles and insulated the door. Everything was done professionally and they cleaned up well afterwards.

    Attic Insulation

    Called Delta Zenic Services Ltd., one week before Christmas to have attic properly insulated 3 days before Christmas. Zdenek immediately provided estimate via phone, while many other companies only returned my request for quote 1 - 2 days later. On the day of the insulation, a team of 3 showed up and apologized for being earlier than originally scheduled! Zdenek inspected the attic before any insulation occurred, the team layed down protective cloth through the house, used plastic sheet to shield around the attic access hatch (to minimize insulation from flying around), and started blowing in insulation for approximately 2 hours. Clean-up was quick, a hand held vacuum was used to make sure nothing was left behind. Certificate and invoice was ready and deal was closed. Extras: putting in a barrier for one of the vents that was covered with insulation, insulated the attic hatch itself, quick inspection/discussion/education on roofing and shingles. Very happy! Thank you.

    Attic Insulation

    I'm very pleased with the work that had been done by Zenic. I got the estimate on the phone, they came on time. They did a fantastic job. Within an hour, there were done. They cleaned up after they have done. The energy audit inspection went smooth as the insulation was more than the standard. Currently the second floor is warm. I'd like to recommend this company for each individual like to do the attic insulation

    Attic Insulation

    We just had our attic insulated in our very old and awkward attic space. The gentlemen who came to our house were polite, took good care of our hardwood and did a great job filling our hard to reach attic space with insulation. We appreciated that they were on time, did great work and were cautious. I would highly recommend them to others!

    Attic Insulation

    I got Zenic from this Homestars website. THE REVIEWS WERE BANG ON. Excellent, personable high-level service. Their afterwork clean up was done without even asking them to. I had rockwool insulation already in place. I measured what I thought was 8 or 9, but Zenic measured only 5". He's the professional expert...so I'll go with that. Very quick and efficient service. Brought my attic insulation up to over R50. People, please allow me to do everyone a favour. Just go with Zenic....REALLY, there is NO NEED to check around. Zenic is all you need!!!. Honest, cost efficient, friendly, high quality service is what I encountered with Zenic and his 2 workers.

    Attic Insulation

    Emailed 3 companies from homestars and Zenic was the only one to get back to me. Provided a quote on the phone and we scheduled a time for them to come in. Zenic called the day prior (excellent!) and arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected (excellent!). Explained everything to me as to what he was going to do, placed drop sheets down everywhere which was awesome since we had new hardwood installed, and finished on time. He let me see the completed job and I was very happy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Service was great from the first phone call to the payment! Great job guys.
