    Terrible Service from this maid company!!!

    Gee..where do I begin..Im a new client to new century maids and its been a horrible experience! Had several cleaning sesions with this company and the first girl I had did an amazing job. I have requested for the same girl evertime however was informed she works alone even tho she showed up with another girl to help. Nonetheless, the cleanings each time had different ladies showing up each time at my house and never did a great job as the first girl. Also, when you call or email this company, you never get a response from the same person even though its directed to a specific indivual. Anyhow, we stopped our services for a while as we are doing renovations in and out of the house. Just recently, I asked for the services to resume and to have a deep thorough cleaning completed since we havent had a cleaning done in a month. Was informed that the fee will be $254.00 when I get home, I take a look around and the ladies havent washed my floors, dirt is left and the counters were not completely wiped. I called Cathi right away to advise of my displesure and send her pictures of the cleaning to show how bad of a job they did. Cathi tells me there is nothing she can do and I have to wait until monday. Other companies will have the girls come back and re-clean but this wasnt an option for me. Anyhow, Cathi calls me back on Monday and informs me she can only offer a $15 credit! Im like...you got to be kiddding me!!! Your FIRED!!!! I paid $254 for a crappy job and hear one of the workers say "Im waisitng my time" is not professional at all for me paying two ladies at 7.5 hours time and to receice crappy service. For a company that states that they offer 24 hour service gaurentees; this company only offered me 10-15 bux in credits. Not once did they ever come back to fix the issues!

    Over the 14 months that you were an NCM client you scheduled 10 cleanings with us and cancelled 4 of the 10. You indicated that due to the size of your family your home is not in the same condition as others. We provided you with an estimate of the time required in order to do a proper deep cleaning of your home. You always indicated that the cost is too much and wanted to negotiate the cleanings and advising that you could do the same tasks in less time. The last cleaning provided the crew did ask for more time to clean the areas of the home which you added on last minute such as the basement bathroom. You indicated that due to the size of the bathroom as well as the simplicity of some of the other tasks you were not willing to provide extra time. You did not take in to consideration the poor condition of the home to begin with along with renovation dust and the gap between cleanings (which you indicate was a month but was actually 10 weeks). The crew did stay over the scheduled time, addressed your complaints at no extra cost to you. On top of that you were offered a $15.00 discount to make sure that you are satisfied. We do aim to do the cleaning to the professional standards that we require from our crews however to ensure total client satisfaction we also have a 24 hour guarantee for our services. This however does not include extra time for which the client is unwilling to pay.

    Biweekly cleaning

    I just read some of the negative reviews and had to read again to see if I might have written the review! It's exactly my experience- good for a few months but then inconsistent. They don't always respond to feedback. They leave corners dusty, they don't vacuum sofa, they don't wipe down counters. Last time I asked for someone to return and they offered a reimbursement even though they offer 24 h guarantee - they'll honour a couple of times but then it's apologies and not even reimbursement, and no one can return to complete the job. Why do I keep asking you to come back? Because you promise it will be better, you'll let the cleaners know about the problem, it won't happen again. Unfortunately they don't follow up after each cleaning or when there is a problem. They're only good for a one time clean, not regular cleaning.

We strive to provide a perfect service the first time around however if there is an area or task which was omitted or not done to your satisfaction we will be more than happy to come back and redo it . We do call and e-mail after each initial , deep or move in/out cleaning to make sure that you are satisfied with the service. We also check in by phone and e-mail with ongoing clients on a regular basis for feedback or any questions or concerns you may have. Our office staff is available by phone and e-mail during the times of the cleanings.

    End of tenancy clean

    We used this company for our end of tenancy clean and got a full refund on our deposit. The flat was spotless and both cleaners were very friendly and helpful and incredibly hard working. Highly recommended!

    house cleaning

    We just had our house cleaned for the first time, the girls were really great and thorough. Completely fulfilled all of my expectations. I will definitely be using them again!! The price was great and well worth it for the work done.

    Great service

    Excellent cleaning job each time. The girls, Anastasia & Heather, are very professional and friendly. I really like the attention to details. They clean every nook and cranny. I am very happy with the service.

    House Cleaning Service

    New Century Maids To say I am disappointed with New Century Maids is a gross understatement. I am appalled with the service I received, and wouldn't hire the company again to clean a barn, much less a house. The company secretary was very congenial on the phone and assured me my needs would be met. I own a rental property, which I wanted cleaned in order to sell it. I expected no problems from the two maids assigned to me and greeted them enthusiastically when they arrived. In came two of the most sullen and uncommunicative women I have ever met. After one maid was done the kitchen work, I brought it to her attention she had forgotten to do the interior of my oven. She exclaimed it was already done, so I brought her to look at her 'work' and asked her to do it again. She gave me some attitude, but redid the oven half-heartedly, sighing her discontent loudly the entire time and leaving the oven in a similar state of filth. She hotly said that's all she could do. The other maid seemed to be doing her work, but after the fact, I noticed she had also failed as a house cleaner. The bill came to more than I was quoted online, and since I did not have exact change for the overage, I ended up paying more than was required. As they left, the kitchen maid seemed furious and would not look at me. I took photographs to demonstrate what they had not done, or done improperly. These included window ledges, ceramic tile grout left dirty and the floor under a queen sized bed left unvacuumed, in addition to the oven being left in a terrible state. It was only after the maids had left that I noted dirty cleaning solution had dripped into the drawer underneath the oven, in addition to the terrible cleaning job of the oven interior. I purchased some oven cleaner and successfully cleaned up a small patch of the oven window to show the company the maid had been inadequate in her work. I emailed and called the company, providing photographs. Next morning, I received a cheerful phone call from the office rep, saying the carpet cleaner would be coming this afternoon, but that I had yet to settled up the bill! I told her I had paid cash, and furthermore, that since I was not happy with the maids' work, I did not want their carpet cleaner coming to my home. I asked that two different maids be sent to address the errors and incomplete work, as per the company guarantee. I did not want the inadequate maids, especially not the angry woman with a bad attitude, back To my property. Half an hour later, I received another cheerful call from the company stating a forty dollar reimbursement would be sent to me. I asked when someone would come out to the house, and was told they wouldn't be sending anyone! Little compensation when I had to turn around and hire a new company to come in and re-clean my property! I am furious that New Century Maids did not honour their commitment to me, and out of pocket because I had to start all over again with another company.

We provide an estimate verbally and also email it out for your records. In this case the estimated time was accurate . We also have a 24 hour guarantee with our cleanings and always follow up by phone and e-mail upon cleaning completion. You asked for a discount while the crew was still at your residence and did not give them a chance to complete their work. You did also refuse to provide us with the chance to fulfill our 24 hour guarantee. Despite all of this the crew did complete the home cleaning and a discount for more than the price of an oven cleaning was honored. We do always stand behind our guarantees.

    Cleaning

    Weekly & One Off Home Cleaning

    Kamila & Maria do an amazing job keeping our house looking amazing! Within a couple of hours the floors shine, bathrooms sparkle, dust is gone... I've used them to do deeper cleanings to get the house in shape for events as well as on a regular basis to keep up with the housework created by small children. I would recommend them highly.

    Cleaning Services

    Carolyn and Nelia consistently do an outstanding job. They are extremely personable and also very thorough. Always a pleasure to speak with them and they do excellent work. Booking appointments is simple and the team goes out of their way to make my life easier. Very happy with the product and the entire team.
