STRONG Plumbing had installed a Back water valve in our home in 2017 and we were very satisfied with their service. Therefore when we had a leak from the upstairs toilet into the basement, we called STRONG Plumbing this month (September 2020). Valentin came promptly and diagnosed the problem as a disconnect between the lead pipe coming off the vertical stack in the basement and the flange sitting at the bottom of the toilet. Within couple of days he returned with all the new parts and replaced the lead pipe and the brass flange with ABS and fixed the leak problem. Valentin also installed our kitchen faucet very nicely. Valentin takes the time to explain the problem, show what is wrong and after finishing the job, shows what he has done. His work is very methodical and clean. He also calls in advance and informs us that he is on his way to our home and in very punctual. We recommend STRONG Plumbing and will continue using their services, if needed in the future.

The house has a couple of plumbing maintenance problems that I attempted to correct myself. The toilet fill valve needed replacement. I installed the replacement part from the local hardware store and it would work some of the time. I unclogged the hair from the kids bathroom sink but it was still running slow. The kids have been doing their own haircuts. In the meantime the kitchen sink simply stopped draining. All this on top of a new school year using a cohort system and working from home with numerous zoom calls. That was it. I needed a plumber. I called Strong Plumbing. They provided a quote before starting. Arrived at the house as scheduled and already wearing their PPE. Safety shoes were covered with a disposable covering in order not to drag dirt onto the floor. The work was done well and no mess was left behind. Now the kitchen sink drains at the speed of a river instead the speed of a small stream. The bathroom sink drain pipe had the stuck plastic packaging removed. My incompatible toilet fill valve was replaced. All is well. There was an additional problem added to my list while Valentin was doing the repairs. It turned out the shower drain pipe was narrower then standard. There was excessive material left over from the time when the shower was built. This excessive material was blocking part of the drain hole. Valentin made time to correct it. I highly recommend Strong Plumbing. Valentine has done a few jobs for us. Each time he and his grew have been reliable, hard working and honest. They show up on time, clean up and stick to the price they quote. Prices are fair and work is done well.

We needed to organize several plumbing jobs for my Mom, who is a Senior Citizen. I was worried about getting them done professionally and quickly as she was without a functional main floor bathroom and didn’t want her going up and down the stairs very often in the day. Valentin was kind enough to squeeze us for the next day. He arrived right on time. He was very efficient, replacing the toilet tank, sink taps and drain, clearing the drain pipe and adjusting the kitchen taps all in around 2 hours. He was very thorough and made suggestions and added better undercounter support for the kitchen tap, and explained to me how to adjust as the area dried up. We were very pleased. I needed a laundry tub replaced and the piping configuration changed. I also needed an outdoor tap replaced. Valentin replied to my texts quickly and efficiently. He alerted me when he was on his way. He was tidy and efficient in his work. Got everything done quickly. He is very good with customer communication. Nice guy. Price a little high but job done well.

Our water bill had doubled and the cause (partially) was a toilet with a leak. Valentin has done work for us before. He is very responsive and I trust that he will give you an honest opinion.
