Valentin was quick to respond to our request to change a damaged shut off valve and provided a quote which we found to be very fair and reasonable. Once we agreed on pricing, Val made himself available very quickly and within our schedules. The work itself was completed with no mess and was very clean, explaining in detail before and after what he was doing. He pointed out additional issues with a leaking pipe he noticed during the repairs which we also proceeded to fix. Throughout the visit, he followed COVID protocol, which we appreciated. Will definitely use him again if need be and would not hesitate to recommend his services. Very pleased with his work.

I would say that the service is great. Fast and professional. When the job was done, all garbage taken away by the technician. I also got one year warranty. One thing to mention, I was told that text message and pictures of problems are preferred to contact the technician. I noticed that the technician reply the message immediately ...

Valentin is a super nice guy, polite, arrives on time, is very thorough and is meticulous in ensuring the issue is completely resolved. He takes you through the problem, shows what he did to fix, and then cleans up the work area completely. Can’t go wrong, highly recommend :-)

Valentin diagnosed the problems over text message first and provided a quote and time for the job. He arrived on time, wore booties and face mask while he was here. He also did an excellent job and left the site clean in addition to pointing out stuff I’d never even noticed before. I was very impressed and would certainly hire him again.

We had some sewage water coming up from our basement pipes. Valentin asked us for a photo and quickly guided us on where the issue could be. He was able give us a quote on what procedure he was going to do. He arrived on time and performed a heavy duty snaking to clear the blockage in the kitchen stack. He was honest about the job that incase the heavy duty snaking wasn't able to clear the blockage, that the pipes were needed be replaced. Luckily it didn't come to that. Anyone that needs a plumbing job in the future, I will highly recommend to use Strong Plumbing Inc.

See photos. Photo 1 - At 8 AM Valentine and his team arrived to dig up our front lawn to replace our 100 year old back up water valve. Photo 2 - By 11 AM - there was a a huge hole, a pile of dirt, and evidence of our broken pipe 7 feet under ground. Valentine's team replaced the back up water valve, called for city inspection, passed, and then started filling up the hole again. Photo 3 -By 2 PM the repair was complete and, somehow, our lawn was in perfect condition when they left, not to mention they sprayed down the driveway of any mud or debris. We live in an older home and had a leak at the base of our toilet which had been installed 3 years ago by another plumber as part of a bathroom reno. I'm not afraid to tackle DIY jobs but know my limits. Given the age of the house and the plumbing and that a seal shouldn't fail in so short an amount of time, I wanted a professional to come diagnose the problem. However I didn't want to call the original guy that did the install. I found Valentin on Homestars. Sure enough the problem wasn't straight forward. He showed me the issue, proposed a solution, had the parts available and within an hour and a half or so the problem was corrected. Valentin was prompt, courteous, obviously knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. Without question this was money well spent and we would hire him again.

We had a leaky shower faucet which I tried and failed to replace myself. I contacted a few companies on Homestars. I decided to go with Strong Plumbing Inc. based on the reviews and a reasonable price quote. Valentin explained the details via email and offered an option to reduce the price of the job by getting the cartridge from Homedepot instead of getting it from him. I was a bit busy so I didn't take up this option. On the day of the job, Valentin arrived on time, put on the mask/shoe covers, replaced the cartridge within a short period, and cleaned up the area nicely afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend Valentin/Strong Plumbing Inc. for plumbing services.

Our Bathtub / shower faucet was cracked internally and water started to leak inside the wall. Called Valentin and on the same day we got the approx cost and scheduled for next day. This is our second time doing business with Valentin , in 2017 I got him via HomeStars to get our laundry room sink fixed. He was prompt and gave the assessment on his arrival, before starting the job. Rather than breaking the tiles to reach the broken faucet pipe, he opened from behind, the drywall. So it is much easier for me to get the drywall patched, compared to tiles. He is an experienced person, knew what he is doing. Also explained me how to to do small replacements on the faucet cartridges. He was following the COVID-19 safty protocol during his presence and cleaned the place after the work. I will recommend him for anyone who needs plumbing works.
