    Furnace, Tankless water heater and air conditioner

    We had a burning smell occasionally coming from our furnace that indicated a problem. We called a company that could not properly diagnose the problem even though they tried on three separate occasions. From their answers we could tell that they did not know what was causing the smell and they were guessing as to the cause while they told us it was not a major problem. Knowing that there was a problem with the furnace as the smell continued after they ``fixed`` the problem, we called Richard to get a second opinion. Richard quickly diagnosed the problem and did a full diagnostic on our heating system. He gave us all our options as to how to fix the problem and educated us with the pros and cons of each option. We were so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism we decided to replace our furnace and water heater as we knew we were in good hands. We also replaced the air conditioner as it would have to be replaced soon and doing it now would allow everything to be integrated properly. Richard never tried to up sell us on the more expensive models; he gave recommendations that best suited our needs. The installation went very smoothly. Richard and his team were highly professional and courteous. They arrived on time and treated our house with respect. They kept a clean work environment and ensured it was clean and tidy when they left at the end of the day. They provided regular status updates and answered all of our questions throughout the day. When they job was finished Richard went through everything that was done and showed us how it worked. We would highly recommend them.

    air conditioner, furnace, hepa,humidifier

    Upon the purchase of our first home we called Coretemp with some questions in regards to purchasing a Hepa Filter. we were impressed with Richard's level fo expertise and immediately called him in to install a Hepa. It made a huge difference with the air quality in our home as both my daughter and I are asthmatic. Upon purchasing our 2nd home we didn't think twice about who we would get to do the work. Richard was again, very knowledgable and could answer all or our questions. We decided to take his recommendations and upgrade the builder furnace to a higher quality energy efficient furnace, with the addition of a Hepa Filter, Air Conditioner and Humidifier. It was money well spent. My husband has had questions and Richard was readily available late at night and had offered to come to our house to check things out for us. We have recently purchased a new home and will definately hire Coretemp to do the work. Richard is an honest person who has competitive pricing and knows his job inside and out. We have recommended him to many friends, family and neighbours and will continue to do so. We are extremely happy with his services.

    Furnace Broken

    December 24th my 2.5 year old furnace stopped working. I called serval HVAC repair numbers but never heard back. On Boxing day I found CoreTemp's number and called them. Richard provided me some suggestions to help prevent the need for a service call. The trouble turned out to be a stuck "Upper Limit" sensor. I was able to fix this myself and the furnace started working again. Thanks Richard for taking the time on the phone with me. CoreTemp will be my first call next time.

    Overhaul required

    Our furnace had cracks in it and it had to be red-tagged. Richard immeadiately juggled their schedules and was at our door early the next morning. Thanks for ensuring that we were up and running the next day.

    Furnace Failure

    I called Enbridge for help early on a Saturday morning after the furnace quit overnight. Enbrigde informed me that they were very busy and backlogged and wouldn't have someone available until Tuesday between 9:00am & 5:00pm. I had a contract with them and visitors from overseas, it was chilly in the house, there was no way to make it to Tuesday. "Sorry, that is the best we can do." "But I have a contract and we are freezing" . . . "Sorry, that is the best we can do." So in desparation I called a co-worker who had been raving about his furnace and air con "Guy" looking for this "Guy's" phone number. Let's see how good he is on a weekend . . . . . Richard Payer answered the phone. I explained my situation and that I was willing to pay his time over the weekend to come out and warm us up. (we were running out of coffee, tea, and cocoa.) Richard arrived not two hours later, determined that the furnace whas "hosed" but he could get it working for a few hours to get the house warmed up. Richard took the time to explain what had failed and why we would need a new furnace. He made a phone call and quoted me a price saying he could get it from his supplier right away. I agreed expecting that he would be in on Monday with the replacement after picking it up from his supplier. RICHARD WAS BACK ON SUNDAY MORNING!!! With a new furnace and his team to install it; we were warm again on Sunday afternoon. I have never looked back or paid Enbrigde for their "Total Coverage" agreement again. CoreTemp is now my "Total Coverage" provider! Richard, you are indeed an angel!!

    Rinnai install / gas work

    Rinnai makes great tankless water heaters and Richard and his team have quality installation to match. No problems here and I would certainly recommend this crew to others. Thanks Richard!

    New furnace and tankless water heater

    Being a new homeowner was overwhelming and in addition to the regular stresses associated with moving, I knew that the 49 year old furnace had to be replaced quickly. Richard was organized and patient as he discussed the options and provided suggestions. His approach was important in that chaotic time -- I didn't feel that I was getting information overload, but that I was still getting all the info I needed to make an informed decision. CoreTemp arrived on time and completed the installation quickly - leaving nothing behind, but a brand-new high efficiency furnace and tankless water heater. Coretemp also walked me through all of the steps to take advantage of the various energy rebates available and made sure that I had all the correct forms and information needed to submit. I have already made several referrals to friends who have mentioned that they are looking for a new furnace!

    Furnace, A/C & Tankless Hot Water Heater

    We were extremely impressed with Richard and his side-kick Chris. Coretemp offers the best product (Ruud & Rinnai) and the best value. Richard went to great lengths throughout the project to explain and keep us informed of the progress/status. CoreTemp's focus throughout our project was to deliver on the quality and promise of a top-notch job and they did!!     Furnace & Tankless water heater

    Richard is fantastic!!! Everytime you make a call, he answers. There is no telephone tag with Richard. He is very knowledgeable, professional and reliable. Richard's crew were very professional, courteous and explained to me the mechanics of the Tankless Water Heater and Furnace that they had just installed.     Boiler/Furnace Repair

    After one heating company not only removed a part of our boiler and took the part away, and then walked away from the job saying they can't fix it, I found Coretemp on the web. I gave them a call and Richard indicated they would be there in the morning. They arrived as planned but I failed to tell them it was a boiler and not a furnace. He said they don't usually work on boilers but took a quick look. He then called a guy he says works on biolers and made arrangements to have him contact me and he repaired the boiler as soon as the part was delivered. Richard, did not charge for his trip out or taking a look at the problem. I would not hesitate recommending Coretemp to anyone who needs furnace repairs. Thank you Richard for all your help.
