Fantastic experience, look no further. I had Enercare come in and tell me I needed a new furnace because I had a crack in my heat exchanger, tagged the furnace as unusable, they even showed me a picture on his phone. I requested quotes through HomeStars for a new furnace and Richard called me back. He was very thorough and honest. He asked how the crack was diagnosed, and after telling him he said that didn't seem right. I had him come in to give a second opinion for $200. I watched as he opened up the furnace, take pictures, look through the scope etc. No crack to be found. Enercare had shown me an old picture. Richard even fixed the humidifier that was installed incorrectly, gave me some helpful hints and tips, and removed the tag. Richard is a friendly and outgoing individual who saved me thousands with his honesty. I highly recommend CoreTemp for your furnace needs, thanks again Richard!

I cant recommend Coretemp and Richard enough! When my furnace started blowing cold air on one of the coldest nights of the winter season, I was desperate. The first company I called sent a technician who couldnt figure out why the furnace stopped working. He managed to get it running temporarily but told me Id need a new furnace soon. Sure enough, a couple of days later, it stopped working again. I was ready to give up and buy a new furnace, trusting the first technicians advice. But something didnt sit right with me, so I searched online and found several posts advising against rushing into such a big purchase. Thats when I came across Coretemp on HomeStars. One review described a situation just like mine, and I decided to give them a call. Richard answered my call at 9:30 pm on a Friday night and was at my door early Saturday morning. He even apologized for not being earlier because I had overslept, not him me. He was ready to go at 6 am! it was a cold night for us and he was there early to help us. What truly impressed me was that Richard had done extensive research overnight, consulted his colleagues, and arrived prepared with potential replacement parts. His diagnosis was absolutely spot on. He found the issue, replaced the faulty part, and took the time to explain every detail about my furnace. Thanks to his expertise, my furnace has been working perfectly ever sinceeven during the coldest winter days. Richards professionalism, intelligence, and honesty set him apart. He genuinely cares about his customers, going above and beyond to provide excellent service. He even follows up periodically to make sure everything is running smoothly, which I really appreciate. I contacted Richard as my furnace wasn't working properly and I needed a service call. It was determined that I should replace the furnace as it was old and parts were discontinued. Within 3 days Richard and Eric showed up and replaced my furnace.(I still had heat so wasn't an emergency) They were very professional and very tidy. They really know their stuff! I am very pleased with the workmanship and friendliness they showed. i would definitely recommend Core Temp for any service they provide.

Contacted Coretemp for the servicing of our furnace and humidifier after locating them here on Homestars. Technician Eric determined that the ventor blower motor was cracked/leaking and in need of replacement. Furnace humidifier required a new humidistat control. While onsite Coretemp owner Richard installed a new customer supplied thermostat. These guys were on time, genuine and know their trade. Nice to see that honesty doesn't take a back seat with Coretemp.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. After I put out my service request Richard was the only provider who came out to ensure he gave me the right quote and was aware of all the issues. Richard and Eric did a great job to ensure my newly renovated basement was not damaged in any way while taking out the old tank. They are also a super cheerful, funny, and entertaining duo. Love these guys!!!

It was very late on a Thursday night (11pm!) and my hubby noticed the temperature of the house was 61F! The furnace had stopped working. He called the local utility & the earliest appointment was Sunday afternoon! I called Richard, left a message, and a follow up call was received Friday by 7am. Richard ensured he would get a tech to us that afternoon! It was serviced by Eric that same day & all fixed & completed by 3pm! Now thats customer service! Richard you are awesome!

I requested for a consultation thru homestars.com, later, got a call from Richard. When he learned that I want a consultation/quote for a new furnace to replace our 12 year old one that stopped working, he informed me that he will try to see if it can be fixed since it is only 12 years old, rather than spend a lot of money buying a new one. Erik came the same day, figured out what is wrong and got the replacement part, installed it, tested if everything is working well and even fixed some minor stuff like sealing a leak. So pleased and satisfied with the service from Coretemp Heating and Air. suggestions. I highly recommend CORETEMP HEATING AND AIR.

Richard and Eric came and serviced my furnace. These guys are amazing did a great job also checked out my water heater , gave me good tips , I highly recommend . Very honest company.
