I hired Steve for my new house inspection in September 2012. He was very knowledgeable and professional person and wanted to make sure that he catch everything for my 30 days Tarion form. The next day he sent me a detailed report with all the pictures and damage details. I printed the report and sent it with my 30 days form to Tarion and the builder. The service people came and did fixed everything he mentioned. I would recommend AA Elite to anyone in GTA area. The inspection was 4 months ago and I just called him this week to check a banging noise coming from the Attic when wind blows hard. He came and went to the Attic and took picture of roof straps and suggested that the soffit and gutter may be doing that noise and I will contact the builder when Steve sends me the updated report.

We purchased our home while living in Edmonton. We were not here for the inspection but made arrangements to speak on the phone with our inspector Steve Blayney after the inspection along with receiving the standard report that comes with the inspection. After paying, I did not receive a phone call so besides the report we had no other information on the condition of the home. We were under the impression as well we would receive information on the infrared camera inspection to see water leaks through the walls. I am doubtful this was done because a few weeks after moving in our basement started to flood with water. The repairmen who came in said this has been happening for months now and it was just covered by new drywall. Not a big deal cost us $1500 approx, but still something that could have been avoided. Everything else was as expected and written in the report.

I am an investor who is in the process of purchasing my first property in Kitchener. After putting a conditional offer on a house, I was able to have Steve attend the property and conduct a home inspection within 24 hours of putting in my online request. Steve was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. He did an excellent job and took the time to explain everything that he was doing. The use of the infrared camera was also useful for the purposes of prebuy inspection. I highly recommend elite home inspection, and will definitely be utilizing their services for any other properties I intend to purchase.

A year ago, John did a year end Tarion inspecion. He was very thorough, knowledgeble and very accommodating. On top of a regular inspecion, an infrared thermal imaging was very informative. This time, I thought another inspection was not necessary, however, I called AA Elite and Steve gave me a couple of suggestions. He is an energy flow expert, and did a test on our unit. It was amazing to know where air leaks and drafts are, and how to have a proper air flow in the house. AA Elite utilizes an advanced technologies (an infrared thermal imaging, an energy flow tests) and gives us more accurate and detailed information. The report in PDF format was easy to follow, and delivered in a timely manner. John and Steve are very pleasant to work with. I believe that they care about their clients and properties. This is obvious, however, very hard to come by!

Steve was very professional, detail-oriented, informative. Accommodated my inspection on Sunday and sent me the report in the evening. Excellent job! I am asking Steve to do my other new home inspection next month.

Steve provided a thorough and unrushed inspection of the property. We sat down following the inspection to discuss the major issues. A 130 page report complete with pictures and explanations followed. The use of infrared was extremely helpful. With it a leak was identified that wasn't visible by just looking underneath the sink (even with the water left running for a significant amount of time). The amount paid for the inspection was money well spent.

John inspected 20+ years house thoroughly for me a few days ago. He was very punctual. The traffic was bad in the morning, but when I was there, he already started his work on the roof. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable. During the inspection, he showed me a lot of problem, big or small, some need fix right away, some need improve. I also learned something about home maintenance. The infrared inspect is amazing. It can show problems behind the wall. When John knew that I need the report urgently, he finished the report and sent to me in the mid-night of the inspection day. If I need another inspection, I would call John again.
