    removed old concrete laundry tub, fixed bifold door

    Quote was lower than the franchises; came when they said they would; did the job very well; charged what they said they would; pleasant to deal with; locally owned. what could be better! They came about the laundry tub, but also solved the problem with a bifold door that didn't fit. Appreciated the problem-solving!

    Door Installation

    We needed a 'specialist' to cut an opening from an existing kitchen window -- we were installing a french door leading out to our deck. Sarah and Chris from Lakeshore Home Maintenance were very responsive, thorough and professional. The job was done on time at a reasonable price, with no mess left behind afterwards. We will definitely call Lakeshore Home Maintenance again for our next 'home project'.

    Topsoil delivery and landscaping

    Keith and Sarah delivered several loads of topsoil, spread it around the garden, did some edging, etc. Top work, on time, for less than you'd expect to pay for soil only.

    Odd renovation jobs; moving furniture;

    I found Sarah and Keith to be exceptionally helpful and pleasant to work with, during the preparations for a wedding at home this summer. They were very willing to take on any task: to move furniture, fix doors, fix windows, even to prepare a meal for 12 for houseguests, and gave up a Sunday morning to move furniture back into the house. Everything was done promptly, and well. I have certainly recommended them to others. They deserve to do well.

    Front Porch Flagstone

    I called Lakeshore Home Maintenance late in the season to have my flagstone front porch fixed. There were about a dozen flagstones that were falling apart, no longer attached to the concrete base and some grout areas were non-existent. Lakeshore Home Maintenance got out to my house on a nice warm day and re-did everything including re-using flagstone that I thought had to be thrown out. They delivered as quoted, they finished before I anticipated and the end product looked phenomenal just before the winter season.

    Miscelleneous home repairs

    I was introduced to Lakeshore Home Maintenance recently by my book keeper and I was satisfied with the work they've done (because they took care of my home "To-Do") but they offered an incredible service. I will definitely use their service again in the near future!

    Kitchen sink install

    Keith is knowledgable and friendly. He did a great job installing a new kitchen sink and faucet!! Sarah & Keith gave us an estimate the day we called and did the work about 1 week later.

    Backyard gardens make over

    Our backyard was an eyesore. I had lost heart. I had some drawings from a year ago that I gave to Sarah to look at and she said that she could easily turn our yard into a retreat that we could be proud of without costing us an arm and a leg. We appreciated that. It's still early since the work was completed but I now have plants flourishing where they never grew before. I am really pleased. I also have a wonderful walk way along the side of my house that totally transforms our yard. This was an area that would never grow grass and was always muddy. The dogs had turned it into a runway. It is so pretty now and offers so many possibilities. I am very happy with the transformation.

    Fence Post Replacement

    I was referred to Lakeshore Home Maintenance through a friend and had no regrets. Sarah and Keith were both professional and personable. They honoured their estimate and completed the work on time and to my complete satisfaction.

    Fence repair

    We hired Sarah and Keith to repair our fence in 2 places. They came over the day I called to give me a quote, then less than a week later they were doing the work. They kept us well informed on what was going on during all the stages. They put in a 6x6 post, 4 x 4 post and rebuilt a section of fence. The quote did not change even though they rebuilt a section, this was not expected but they thought it was the best thing to do. It looks great and they also put down soil and grass seed where grass had been damaged. Highly recommended.
