Mike from M3 made our shutters 7 years ago for our new home. Mike delivered and installed the blinds. We have found the shutters Mike made for us to be superior to anything else we have seen over the years. Mike measured up all window openings and doors for a perfect fit. They are beautifull, well made and easy to care for. Mike is one of those rare individuals you meet that will exceed all your expectations. That is why our new home is going to have shutters made by the M3 Design Group. I would highly recommend this company.

We contacted Mike at M3 designs based on reviews that we found on the Homestars.ca website. We were impressed enough by the pics (that we saw), to email M3 design and inquire about product and pricing. We left a message and Mike contacted us personally, less than 24 hrs. after my inquiry. Mike was knowledgeable and spoke to his product with confidence. He explained why his product is superior. We agreed to meet at my home the following day. He arrived and after a quick hello, he looked over our 2000 sq. foot home. He provided us with a sample of his product and we liked it right away. He also provided us with a general quote. The price was fair and Mike was open to a negotiation (which we appreciated). We came to a negotiated number and agreed to begin installation in two to three weeks. Three weeks to the day, Mike arrived with his product. He quickly and confidently installed the product. we asked lots of questions during the installation process. Mike explains his products thoroughly. He assured us that the product is guaranteed and should we have any issues (throughout the life of the product), that he will come to personally take care of whatever issues arise. (As frugal and discerning consumers, we are especially satisfied with this aspect of the customer service product guarantee). We had a slight delay with our upper lever shutters, as they were cut too long. Mike collected the improperly cut product and promised to bring them to his shop (for proper cutting) and to return the following day. Mike returned the following day, as promised, with the product correctly cut and ready for installation. He quickly installed the product and I must say that we are extremely happy with the final product. The product is truly gorgeous and adds appeal and beauty to our home. We would like to thank Mike for a beautiful installation. We would also like to highly recommend Mike and his product!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I am not one to write reviews, but I'm extremely impressed with Mike and his after warranty service. I have a 4000 sq ft home with all wooden shutters. A few of them need to be fixed. I called Mike to explain the situation and asked how to fix them, and he personally came to do it himself. I have and will continue to recommend this company to others. There should be more great companies like this in Toronto.

We contacted M3 designs to quote us on the installation of some California shutters including one window that required customization. They were very prompt, professional and courteous during the entire transaction. Installation was completed in short order and was done extremely well. They are a company I would most definitely do business with again.

I was very pleased with the overall service and look of the high end shutters. They look very flush with the wall and the moulding around my windows. I would recommend this company to anyone I know who is interested in shutters for their home

Mike is very knowledgeable about his products and is enthusiastic about educating potential clients about the different kinds of shutters. He shows a passion for what he does and is efficient. He promised to have the shutters made with in 2 weeks. He had them ready within a few days. Just one thing --he has a "big " personality -quite loud and forward--but what is most important--he does a terrific job and is very reasonable price-wise.

Mike is excellent! Shutters were ready to be installed days after our initial consult. They are absolutely gorgeous. This is excellent, quality work. I would recommend M3 Design to anyone!

I chose Mike to make my shutters and I have no regrets. I decided on wooden shutters because they look “much nicer” than vinyl shutters. If you have a good eye, you can tell immediately. I was worried about humidity damage, but every manufacturer (when asked) provided a 25 year warranty that covered humidity damage. I met the top 5 wooden shutter manufacturers in the city (based on Homestars reviews). Everyone claims to use the best quality wood and paint in the city, but as an “average consumer” it’s impossible to validate. I can tell you that everyone had a very nice shutter. But some were nicer than others. Mike uses a premium process to make his shutters, and his finished product looks and feels very premium. Regarding price, Mike was negotiable and we worked out a “very” reasonable price. He provided a premium shutter at an incredible value. His final quote was not the lowest, but it was significantly cheaper than those manufacturers offering similar quality. I recommend that you do your research before you meet him. In my case there were delays, cancelled appointments and things took longer than they should have. I think it’s important to be honest, so I am including this. But I advise you to read many reviews before making any judgements. This maybe an isolated incident, and Mike did very good work otherwise. Mike made an error when installing one of my shutter panels. As a result, there was a large gap between two shutter panels. My window frames are a bit tricky as they are vinyl. I told him I was not happy, and asked him if he could make another panel to correct the mistake. Mike stood behind the quality of his work and made another panel. Every manufacturer should stand behind their work, but I don’t think they do. From this review, I can firmly tell you that Mike does and I applaud him for that. In summation, I absolutely recommend Mike. He provided me with incredible value. He provided me with a premium shutter. And he stood behind his work. I couldn’t be happier with the final product and installation. Update April 21, 2018 Still love my shutters. Excellent Quality.

We found Mike through Homestars. He was more than pleasant and knowledgeable during his initial consultation. The shutters were installed throughout the entire 3 storey house including on a sliding balcony door/window and very large windows on the main floor. The shutters look great and are beyond our expectations. Well done and thank you!
