I didn't know what to do when I realised that the light switch was sparking every time I used it;it happened frequently so I did the next best thing and called an electrician. Even finding an electrician was a daunting task but thank fully I called HC Electrical Services. An electrician came over to asses and rectify the issue. The guy was pleasant and knew exactly what he was doing. Will I call them again? For sure!

I needed new up to code pot lights to be installed in the kitchen. Larry and his team were friendly and did a professional work. They communicate clearly and explain well the job. They also came to the appointment exactly on time and the pricing was what was agreed upon. Based on the good first experience I had, I did another business with them to install new light fixtures in my other home. Again, the job was done professionally and in a timely manner. I would definitely turn to them in he future if need be and recommend HC electrical Services to a friend!

After reading the positive reviews on this company, we decided to call Larry. Our panel was overloaded and there were breakers with more then one line. after talking to Larry and following his professional guidance we decided to get a sub panel installed. The project was handled well and staright forward, the price he quoted was fair and that is the price we paid after the work as done. We are quite pleased.

Larry made done great suggestions after our first meeting on the site. He completed the job within 1 day and cleaned the workspace very nicely after the job was completed. The end result is beautiful. Larry was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I recommend him to anyone looking for these services.

Major electrical work is not something you want to put in the hands of just anyone, although it might feel that way when you are meeting with various companies in hopes of finding that right combination of competence, customer service, and competitive pricing. HC Electrical gets top grades across the board! Our job wasn't easy and we were doing more than just knob & tube removal. We needed to relocate our service line to make way for a future addition to the house, we also wanted to upgrade to a 200 amp service, and run Cat 6 cable through the entire house. Larry knew his stuff and he was never daunted, whatever the situation. Our home is older and had been through renovations by previous owners and that meant a number of surprises, but Larry was able to identify and deal with those problems. Overall, I was really impressed with his efficiency and his knowledge. Beyond that, I always felt that he was being straight with us and that sense of trust is invaluable when you embark on such an extensive (and expensive) job. Yes, this type of work doesn't come cheap, but after having received quotes from other companies, we were convinced that HC Electrical was competitively priced. Even after his job was completed, he still returned my calls when I had questions regarding a subsequent stage of our renovations that involved some electrical work. Larry even sent one of his guys to have a look at the work our general contractor did when we expressed some concerns about it and he was able to identify a problem and fix it on the spot for us. From now on, when we need electrical work done, we will be calling HC Electrical!

I give HC Electrical Services my highest recommendation for their professionalism, high quality work and timely service. This fall we purchased a 100 year old home converted to a triplex. We bought knowing the house had knob and tube wiring, and had to have it all removed for insurance purposes within one month of possession. After meeting with 8 different electricians, Larry was clearly the most professional and the most reliable. Larry provided a detailed quote outlining exactly what work would be done – his price was competitive and it was a pleasure to interact with him. We had two units full of knob and tube entirely re-wired, and serviced the aluminum wiring in the third unit. Larry upgraded our service from 100 to 200 amps, and also put in sub-panels for each of our three units. They also replaced our electric baseboard heaters in the basement apartment and addition, and ran a 240v line for a dryer. Larry and his crew were 100% reliable and professional – they showed up on time every single day, and put in extra hours to do some pot lights for us (which was not in our original request). They started on the exact date we booked them, and finished the job exactly when predicted. And they did the work with minimal damage to our 100 year old plaster walls. The price included getting an ESA inspection and certificates for our home, exactly what insurance companies want to see. Call HC, you won’t regret it!

Larry and his crew wired our entire ground floor renovation, upgraded our service and re-wired some very dangerous second floor wiring that was clearly done improperly (everything was on one 240V circuit), all with a very minimal impact to the finished walls and ceilings. The process was quick professional and friendly and the cost was very reasonable. I was really pleased with the work performed and the recommendations on lighting and outlet layouts during the process. I will definitely use HC Electrical in the future for any small to large projects.

I have a very old home in Toronto and the knob-and-tube needed to be removed with updated wiring to 200 amps. Larry and his team did a fantastic job. I was very pleased with the care, time and detail they took in re-wiring the home. Larry and his team made very few holes (and small ones too) to fish the wire, so as to preserve the gumwood and character of the home. They finished on-time and even came a week later to install light fixtures for me at no cost (which he was not obligated to do so). Thank you Larry! He will not rush a job or take shortcuts and the quality of their workmanship shows. His prices are very reasonable, in fact of all my quotations, he was on the low end. I would highly recommend HC Electrical for all your electrical work.

We bought an older home after deciding to downsize once our kids left the nest, that was 2 years ago. We finally decided to do some updates in the house and were shocked to find that there was still knob and tube wires in the house.
