Can Do Fence and Deck did a great job in tearing down our old deck and their Sales Manager gave us some wonderful ideas concerning the new deck. Work was done on time, professionally and all the rubbish and old material was taken away as promised. We can recommend them to build that dream deck you always wanted.

From first contact, tearing down of old fencing, setting posts, and erecting new fence everything was exceedingly well done. The company appears to use separate crews for each phase so you are getting skilled workers. They were careful of the property and did as little damage/mess as possible. (Postholes were made with 3PH tractor mounted auger) Every single worker was polite, respectful, and worked diligently. No wasting time. No money was due until completion of the job - including removal of old material. Cleanup was very well done not only of work area, but the area where the old fencing was piled. Have no problem recommending this company to anyone if all workers are like the ones who dealt with this fence (8 in total, plus the sales manager) Fence removed and posts set one day, fence and gates rebuilt the next, old stuff removed following day. Follow-up on 19 Dec 2011 I contacted the Sales Manager (Alon Zamdvaiz) to ask what I can do about the 2 X 4 that is coming loose from the wall. Since this is a down time of year, I was not expecting a reply until after the holidays at the earliest. BUT not even 2 hours later I rec'd an e-mail from him stating that he will do what he can. His Office Manager (JoAnne Guest) also responded with an e-mail and said the person looking after repairs is on vacation until late Dec but she will have him look after my repair in early Jan. What I had expected (whenever) was them hopefully telling me how to go about fixing this problem myself especially since that is what I had actually asked for. To have Alon and JoAnne tell me that Can Do will fix this problem is totally above and beyond, and very much appreciated. Alon also stated (in a follow-up e-mail) that he promises that whatever happens this will get done, and to be in touch when resolved. This company deserves all the kudos I can possibly give. I had done my research, checked references, was more than satisfied with everything before, and during, and that verdict has not changed. I will gladly continue to refer them to anyone. Karma

I was totally impressed with Alon and his crew from CANDO Fence and Deck. I hired them to install a new deck for me and was very satisfied with everything from start to finish. Alon is a super nice guy, very professional, on time, and supplied me with lots of references... which I checked out. He helped me apply and obtain a building permit and constructed a large beautiful well built deck 14x16. It was so nice that my neighbour also hired them right away!! The workmanship was fantastic, the materials were top notch and they did not ask for a deposit. This is very important as it shows that the company is in solid financial shape and has a good credit standing with their suppliers. They started and finished exactly according to the dates they gave me. The deck was inspected by the building Inspector for the Town of Newmarket and he told me that their work was top quality. I know you will be very happy with this company. I am writing this just to help other homeowners find a reputable company here in York Region. Alon was the sales rep that we dealt with when we have our fence put up about 3 years ago. Our neighbours did all the due diligence and inspected all the sites of various sites and found their workmanship by far the best. One half of our street was done by one company and the other half was done by Can Do Fencing and let me tell you the difference was night and day! Can Do finished all our homes in week or so while the other company took over a month! On top of that, the other company 5x5 posts that was smaller then the 6x6 posts that Can Do put up and the craftsmanship and build quality was buy far superior. Really glad our side of the street stuck with Can Do. Would highly recommend and use again in the future.

From the amazing price to the exceptional service they delivered... We really wanted the fence up do to the location of our house and privacy issues. We received several quotes from other fence companies, Can Do Fence was able to meet our pricing expectations and our deadline that we had for the fence to be up. Other companies would not sign a contract to have the fence up at a certain time and there rates were a lot higher. When I came home from work and saw the fence that they put up it blew me away! What an amazing job! I can actually say that it is one of the nicer fences in the neighbourhood. I don't normally take the time to write reviews on services received but they really have left me no choice...I would recommend this company to anyone...Thank you to the Can Do Fence Team Sonya, Joanne, Steve and Avon! We dealt with Alon about 5 years ago, and the process was painless and we were satisfied, some of the strips of wood used would not make it through our quality control test, but they weren't compromising the structure or anything...no complaints there. We paid extra and bought a nicer gate with the arbour (so did our neighbours which was nice because our gates were beside each other) but the door to the gate started to warp and we couldn't open the latch or close it at all. The gates are now leaning to each side of our properties. A few months to a year later we contacted Can-do again hoping they would repair the problem, because our neighbours were having the same issues as well, but we didn't receive a response until we said we would escalate it to the better business bureau. Then they came and moved the screw in the latch up to it can open and close....The gates still look obviously crooked and for the extra money we paid, not worth the upgrade and it was not a great post sales service. They have great prices, and it can't be beat. We have never had a problem with the fence itself. Do yourself a favor and just get the basic gate, because those have stood up very well in our area, don't make any upgrades. And don't count on post sales service either.

My neighbourhood just recently got together and put up about 15 fences. Can-Do worked with our neighbours and gave a very competitive price. Work was methodical and once they started they flew. 3 payments made life significatly easier for sure. One minor problem: After my fence was installed I noticed a 4-foot hole in my back yard. Obviously they mis-dug one of the poles. After contacting the owner, he was extremely apologetic and took immediate actions to correct the problem. I could tell that he was extremely embarrassed and angry that this was done improperly and guarenteed a speedy correction to this problem. I certainly enjoy a contractor who's not afraid to take responsibilities for thier mistakes and take actions to immediatley correct them. If you are looking for a professional service, Can-Do is for you!

What a company !!!!!!!! Fence was built in 3 days and it looks great. Kyle, the guy who built it, worked very hard and was a pleasure to deal with, as were the guys who made the concrete posts. Alon, their sales manager, is a really nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. Their prices were good too. I would highly recommend this company.

We are in a newly built home and one of my neighbours did a lot of research to pick reliable companies to give us fencing quotes. Can Do was the best price, and they did a fantastic job! They gave us good advice to use bigger fence posts because of the high winds we have in our particular location. They had upgrades available to put wrought-iron inserts in the gates too. They built the fence the way they said they would and on time. We were very happy with their service and are in the process of getting them to build a deck for us too!

With his expertise Alon was able to notice a measurement mistake on the survey thus avoiding dispute among the neighbour. The work team provided a professional job, they even responded quickyly for minor repair.
