I called in Trent after another contractor bit off more than he could chew and left the job half done. Trent delivered! Trent returned my initial call in a timely fashion, came out to have a look straightaway and gave me a reasonable estimate and time frame. Wally, a coworker, actually carried out the project, putting up walls and doing the tiling around the bathtub. He tackled the job as if it were his own bathroom with tremendous attention to detail. He actually replaced a tile he had already put up when he noticed a blemish. Trent oversaw the work on a daily basis. The final work was outstanding and everyone who has seen it, has nothing but compliments. After the job was finished, Trent called to follow up. I cannot say enough about Trent's knowledge combined with his human touch. I have no hesitation in recommending Trentco to anyone who wants a reliable contractor and first-rate professional job at a fair price.

Trent is a rare find that I found thanks to Homestars. Let me start by saying that I am a very picky person. I notice details and I demand equal quality for the money I pay. Nowadays, it is extremely rare to find someone who puts the effort into getting a job done properly when they have the option to shortcut it and sacrifice quality. I think Trent does his job because he takes pride in his work and enjoys what he does and not because he wants to retire in Aruba. Above all, he is honest and straightforward which are the traits I value the most in a contractor. He was sometimes so honest about the job that he created more unpaid work for himself to ensure that it would get done properly. That is was sold me on Trent. Trent always tried to meet me half way on an issue and his commitment to customer service shows through all of the positive reviews written here. This being my first reno, I wasn't sure what questions to ask and what to expect, but Trent was patient with me. Although there were several instances of miscommunication, we always came to an agreeable solution. The job was to make the concrete walls and uneven floors of my basement a habitable apartment. The job required everything, not the least of which was plumbing, insulation and floors/walls/ceiling. I am extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and the price. I would most definitely recommend Trent to everyone and plan to call him in the future.

Trent is an excellent contractor. Always conscientious, careful, honest and full of integrity. Trust him in my home. DId a great job maintaining a rustic industrial appearance in our basement bathroom. This is the 4th project Trent has done in our home (previous reviews from Sonia in the beach). He is extremely helpful and will go out of his way to delight you! There is no project too small or big and Trent will always give you a fair assessment of what needs to be done. We had some serious plumbing issues from an earlier renovation that he was able to solve. He does quality workmanship with pride - and treats your home as if it was his own. His employee Jimmy is also a great carpenter and built beautiful cedar walls and frames. Trent is coming back to install some cabinets and I will send pics next review! Stay tuned!

We hired Trent and his team to gut our 3rd floor attic to create a master bedroom and gut two rooms on our second floor (our small bathroom and adjacent bedroom)-- which they rebuilt, creating a beautiful new bathroom that our family of 4 uses on a daily basis. Along the way, there were hidden electrical and plumbing issues that were discovered in our old home. Trent guided us, always explaining options with clarity and consideration for budget. The carpentry work was top notch! We are very happy with the results and are planning to hire him for future projects in our home.

We had worked with Trent before for renovations on the inside of our home. When we wanted to do some work on the outside we called Trent immediately. Once again it was a great experience. Trent reframed our garage and installed one large door to replace the two old doors that were there before. He replaced all of our windows with energy efficient ones and he insulated and installed siding on the non-brick sections of the house. Everything was done very well and on time. It is always a pleasure dealing with Trent - he makes home renovations completely stress free. I have already contacted Trent to do some work in our basement.

We found Trent and his company very easy to work with. As part of our kitchen renovation, Trent and his guys removed a load bearing wall, replaced the wall with a beam and installed hardwood throughout our whole main floor (cost of flooring not included in the price listed). We wanted to do some of the work on the kitchen renovation on our own and Trent was very helpful and accommodating by working around our schedule and even letting us borrow some of his tools. He was always on schedule and didn't spring any surprise costs on us throughout the project. I am certain that we will hire Trent again some time down the road.

Faced with first time home renovations, I couldn't have asked for someone more reliable than Trent. He was accountable and trustworthy. Trent is always very transparent with the work he is doing and what you were being billed for. He was also great at quality control, picking up on finishing details that I wouldn’t have noticed. All in all, the work was precise and conscientious which really shows in the final product. No doubt it’s a professional job. On a personal level, Trent was also great to work with. He is always friendly, easy going, considerate of the budget and sensitive to your concerns. We originally decided to hire Trent based on his reasonable estimates and his no BS approach. After the renos were completed, Trent was always still available to answer any questions or concerns. Getting back to us in the same time frame as when we were in the middle of renovations. He didn’t disappear after the job. Thanks Trent!

We hired Trent for a job a couple years ago. He did a great job on a bathroom and bedroom renovation. All details and issues were discussed with the architect and solved on site. The job was completed in a timely manner. Great job.

Terrific work! I'm impressed at how Trent solved my leaky basement by finding a leak in the stack. Basement stairs are beautiful and safe now. Can I have my keys?

We needed someone to help us w/ some structural issues we found in our home. Luckily we came across Trentco Construction and here is our thoughts about the service we were provided with: - Very professional, responsible, friendly and easy to talk to; - Took the time to educate us about what was happening; - If he sees a problem, he will tell you and also provide you with a solution, so you're not left hanging if you don't know how to deal with the problem. - He and his crew were fantastic and the job was well done, in time and the job site was clean after the work was completed. - He did his best to accommodate our time constraints. - He demonstrated genuine care for the job, as he executes the job as if he was working on his own home. Overall we were extremely pleased w/ the job and WOULD MOST CERTAINLY contact this company again for any other job we may need in our home that is within their scope of practice.
