This company has got to be the worst in the industry. I have never experienced such poor management, workmanship and communication. We were told so nicely that by January 4th 2016 our basement reno would be wrapping up. We are now a week from March 4th and it is still not near completion, deadlines never met, house in a constant mess due to poor workmanship and management. I was informed to have certain areas of the home cleaned our for a specific day to ensure workers come in.. workers don't show up, nothing gets done, no response to emails or phone calls. Calls to the Owners who of course not available to take your call.. The only sad part is they still think they should be paid.. trades don't show up to job sites cause they are not being paid... My friend also doing close to a 100,000 reno with them and the same problems. They put a bathtub downstairs for us with a shower, but the failed to tell us if we took that route you must be 5"11 or less to shower as they Built a bulk head so low you can't stand upm This company should be noted as the worst company in the industry. If you want a garage built, or a basement developed, I warn you do not hire these people.

Complete basement remodel. New charges well after they happen with no explanation. Poor, non existant communication. Very responsive when it's time to pay. Rest of the time impossible to get a hold of them to discuss your project. Poor quality trades, something is always broken when their trades are gone. Site super rarely comes and checks in on the work their trades are doing so you need to watch everything. Not complete yet and hopeful it all gets fixed and completed as envisioned. Not holding my breath that it will be painless.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I hired Planit Builders to build my garage early last year. Their concrete guys who are subcontracted broke ground late April / early May. Long story short they were brutal / amateur as they come. They excavated and dump dirt all over my finished landscaped yard tried to used old recycled concrete crumble as my base for the concrete pad until I stopped them. They finished the Pad late May and left huge humps in my floor and now my garage door won't close properly and water comes in pooling in the dips and corners. I spoke the construction manager who DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS, and explained the situation. He said, " oh no worries we will add some thicker weather stripping under the door but we don't fix the floor this is normal." Once the framing was done the Sub-contracted siding guys came in and installed the wrong siding. Then the framers left all the garbage in the garage for 3 weeks. I cleaned it up myself and hauled it to the dump. Cost me $30.00 for a trailer full of debris. Overall the structure is fine but concrete is garbage and it took them almost 4 month's to complete the build. I with held $3800.00 from them for approximately 6 month's so they would have a chance to come by and complete the gas line installation and garage door gap filling and weather stripping. They still have not done this. Even after I paid my $3800.00 and the Construction manager promised me 4 weeks ago he would have the gas fitter come by and complete this work. The lady in Accounts Receivable is a nightmare to speak to. Her emails she sent me asking for payment were disgusting and beyond professional. I am one out of several Customers that built a garage with them that are very unhappy, upset, and frustrated by their lack of care, professionalism and the extensive time it takes them to complete their work. We shall see what they have to say after reading this. Probably will threaten to not finish my garage.

Thank you to Planit builders for developing our basement . Highly recommended. Right from the get go everything was stress free and very smooth . Our project manager Joe Parker was outstanding, communicated great with us , letting us know what was being done next and when. any minor issues were dealt with swiftly . Thank you Joe and Thankyou everyone at Planit, we love our new basement .

I am satisfied with the service I received with Plan it Builders. Our project manager John Paul was very effective, a good communicator and good at keeping the job on schedule despite having difficult trades to deal with. Only downfall was the early design. They told us they build tons of bars in the basement. Since we wanted something fairly standard they drafted us up what it was. But their standard had very short cabinets. On paper it looked fine but installed and in full view with bar installed - it looked stupid. We ended up having the cabinets redone. Being inexperienced in reading drawingsome I feel like they should have done a better job in showing us various cabinet heights and their prices than just throwing one drawing at us and asking "good"? But craftsmanship and project was well done and I'm happy and would recommend them.

We are so happy with our basement renovation by PLANit Builders. Everything was on time and on budget. The contractors were friendly and respectful. Our site supervisor, Joe Parker, was fantastic and answered all our questions and resolved all issues promptly. We were apprehensive about doing this renovation, having heard renovation horror stories, but PLANit builders were fantastic and Joe managed our renovation to perfection. We were surprised at how easy and stress-free it was. Thanks PLANit!

Been treated lovely, had really good tradesmen spend 4 months in my home making it look fabulous. Minor timing hiccups as in all building to be expected, but the quality of work has been great. My site manager John has been a wonderful person to deal with. i never felt out the loop or invaded upon.. Highly recommend it. The designer was not sure of my designs but made all the nessesary adjustments and sent me to great suppliers. I got everything I hoped for! Thanx Planit snd thanks John!

We contacted 4 builders and went with Planit Builders and were very happy with the results. From the sales team to the interior designer to the project manager and everyone in between the experience was very good. If there was a concern with something, our project manger John was quick and efficient to make it right an ensure we were pleased. We are very happy with our space and we would pass along our positive experience to anyone looking to get work done. Thank you Planit Builders for a beautiful new space.
