Review from HomeOwner Review left on 5 Jun 2013Rating: 5 out of 5We just recently got two new windows from "Landmark Home solution", couldn't be any happier, they are beautiful, we got them in may, and what a difference, (our main window that we got done, which was our living room window), has made a difference in the living room, has cooled it down, and opened our living room up! Our sales guy was nice, and the installers were great, very professional, not much of a mess, and cleaned up after themselves, I would recommend " Landmark Home solutions", to everyone!!! I'm still getting comments on my windows :)! Im gonna have to put this review on hold, things are falling apart, and Landmark hasn't got back to me!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

From initial quote to additions and changes we had great service from all the staff with this company. Like many it started with a cold call that just happened to be well timed. My wife had been asking about getting new windows for some time so I accepted the offer to come and get the quote done. Kevin came and did the initial measurements and quotes for the different quality of windows they offered and we made our selection. He helped by explaining the difference between a "frame-in and a "frame-out" replacement. This difference affects the window trim. A follow-up booking for final measurements was made and then just the wait on the windows. During this time I made the change of adding a window in the garage as well as changing from paint grade to stain grade wood trim. There were no problems for either. The install date was set and John and Connie came to do the work. They were a delight to work with (they did all the work). John put up with my jokes and Connie kept the place clean and tidy. They were both great to speak to and John was accommodating of the last minute (that day) trim changes I made without a fuss. John also took the time to explain, in greater detail, the "frame-in" versus "frame-out" which helped me to understand the process after seeing it in progress. Initially I had planned to be there throughout the work, being a little concerned of having strangers in my house. Almost immediately I felt comfortable with them and was able to go and run errands and get lots of other work done. Connie noticed a small flaw in one window (looks like pen on the inside of the glass) and advised it would be replaced. The windows look great. The trim neat and tidy. The place was left clean and neat. I read all the other reviews and no doubt some people didn't get the service we did. I had done my on-line research after the call and found this company had one of the best BBB profiles for this industry. Clearly people make the difference. Kevin our initial sales guy did a great job and took the time to explain. I missed the final measurements but my wife assured me it was on time and polite. Finally the installers, John and Connie, you need to clone these two and likely the problem comments would disappear. On time, neat, polite, accommodating, helpful, and pleasant to be around. Landmark Home Solutions provided us with excellent quality doors and windows to replace our old ones. We have noticed a big difference in the ability of these doors and windows to keep the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer reducing our hydro needs considerably. The installers were punctual, kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up after they were done. They worked around us and our time schedules and were very courteous. I was impressed by the salesman, Rolf. He not only spoke but he demonstrated how well built the windows would be and how the window quality combined with the argon fill would save me energy. Next, the gentleman cam to take accurate measurements exactly when he said he would. Then, although I had been told that it would take approximately 6 - 8 weeks for the windows to be ready, I was informed that they were ready after about three weeks. A time convenient for me was agreed upon and the technicians arrived early for the installation and were finished before lunchtime. The cleanup was fairly good, too.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I have had most of my windows satisfactorily replaced by Landmark so I was confident that they would sell a superior product for the eaves. The installers were not able to come on the day we'd set up, due to very high winds and hail, but I was notified right away and they arrived promptly the next available day. They made minor repairs to my existing eaves as well as the installing the covers and left my yard, deck and patio swept clean. Very good communication. They always called before arriving and, if they were going to be delayed, they would call as well. Everything we were promised to have done was done to our satisfaction. The price is a little more than I was hoping, but knowing that I'll never have to go up on the roof again to clear out the gutters makes it worth it. I'm not getting any younger... We got gutter covers (toppers) to prevent leaves from getting into our gutters. The salepeople (Steve Bateman & Haley Brown) were very nice and always let us know what was happening. They delivered one of the windows broken. The installer said he would report it to the company and the company would call me. Not only did they not call to ask how I liked the windows, they never called about the broken one. On top of that you cannot call them because none of the numbers on line work and one doesn't get answered. It just keeps ringing. The windows seem nice but the customer service is terrible.For the price you pay for these windows the customer service should be top notch. It isn't. I have since finally spoken to Landmark and they will finally order the new window. I will add that I had to send a picture of the broken window in order to get the help I was entitled to. I partially understand this, but it also makes the customer feel like they have to first prove to the company that their complaint is not unfounded. This did not sit well with me.Answer from pro:
We here at Landmark Home Solutions are very sorry to hear that the above customer is so dissapointed in our customer service. Yes, one of the windows was damaged on route to there installation but rather then cancel the entire job and inconvenience the home owner all together and re-schedule we decided to proceed with the installation and then replace the damaged unit. After installation we made several attempts to get in touch with the customer to schedule the follow up but we made all attempts to reach them through their Candian residence not realizing they were at their US residence. As for the clame they could not reach us... I can only attribute that to the fact that they were at there US residence and being we are a Canadian company... of course our 800# is not available in the US! With that said we have finally spoken, their order has now been placed and we look forward to finishing off there home so they may enjoy the beauty and elegance of Landmark Windows for years to come. All and all I think our actions would clearly demonstrate outstanding customer service and we wish our clients all the best!

Landmark sales person was very polite and informative. Did not run down competitors just gave us the info and stats on the windows. The Lifetime warranty including glass breakage was impressive. The Installers were professional and thorough. The caulking was impeccable and they cleaned up everything before they left. We were told the windows would take 6-7 weeks and were contacted within 3 weeks. This can be good or bad, but for us we were waiting for some investments to finalize so the 7 weeks was what were were looking for. We did not get pushed to install sooner appreciatedl. We did call the office 2 weeks prior to get some inside window measurements for new blinds and we were told someone would e-mail us with the info. That never occured, we only received a call regarding the install date just days prior. But overall, these were minor and the installation was as we had hoped. the windows are incredible and have silenced outdoor noise and the casement window mechanism is quiet and very smooth.
