Francisco and his team did an absolutely beautiful job on our floors and stairs. They started on the 2nd floor where they ripped out our old carpet and put down new oak floors, stained and finished them. The next step was the staircase - Francisco worked with Gmano Railings to remove the carpet and replace the old 1982 staircase with a beautiful new one complete with iron railings. The third stage of the project was to re-finish and sand and stain our existing first floor oak hardwoods to match the new 2nd floor and staircase and they did a fantastic job. What made the project go so smoothly was how easy it was to communicate with Francisco. He was prompt to reply, clear in his instructions and he was always at the house when he said he would be. His workers were clean and tidy and they took great care to vacuum up the dust at the end of each day of work, which made the final clean up very easy. Ecowoods exceeded our expectations in every way and we would recommend them to anyone who is very fussy about the finished product.

Based solely on homestars reviews I contacted Ecowoods and am so happy with the work. Francisco and his crew were extremely professional. The final product looks great and shows attention to detail. My husband works with contractors and they have all come through our new home and the first thing they comment on is the quality of the floors. If I have any other floor work to be done I will only call Francisco. I trust him and his work speaks for itself. In addition, he was curteous, punctual and reasonable, making it very easy to work with him. He was patient with all of my questions! Even when we changed our mind last minute as to the colour we wanted. Thanks Francisco! We LOVE our floors! Not being fans of oak, we knew we had to at least change the colour of the floor. It went from a pale yellow/orange to spice brown. The floor now looks modern. Worth every penny! I highly recommend, without any hesitation.

From the beginning to the finish, Francisco and his team were fantastic! My floors look amazing! I needed to repair some of the areas where the hardwood was missing but Francisco gave me a very reasonable revised quote. I would highly recommend Ecowoods.

Francisco takes great pride in his work; his crew arrived when promised, finished the job on time and he was very attentive to details. In short, excellent work and Francisco was a pleasure to deal with.

Francisco and his crew refinished the floors in our new-to-us resale home, and the floors look like new! Everything was done within the time specified. Francisco came in a few days later to fix up a few details with the quarter-rounds and everything went smoothly. My wife and I are very happy with the floors - we have already referred him to one of our friends and we will call Francisco again when we have another property where the floors need refinishing!

I hired Ecowoods on the basis of Homestars reviews and couldn't have been happier. Francisco came over to give an estimate the same day I called him, even though I explained over the phone that it wasn't a huge job. I never got the feeling that my project wasn't a priority for him, even though I knew he was extremely busy with larger projects. He and his workers were always on time, worked diligently and did an awesome job. Even though I just paid for the stairs to be buffed, Franciso did some staining to bring them up to his standards (which are high). He uses water-based finishing coats to keep fumes to a minimum so we didn't have to evacuate the premises. They put up plastic to keep dust to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves every day. They started and completed the project in a timely manner. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and intend to use them again when I tackle the main floor.

I had Francisco come in to refinish the hardwood on my stairs and on my 2nd floor. Discovered that previous owners had put hundreds of nails in the wood. Francisco made the budget work - he refinished the stairs and laid new hardwood in the hall and 2 bedrooms. He was completely professional - only believes in doing a job "right" and helped to work within my budget. He also did all the small finishing for me so there was nothing leftover to deal with. I recommend him 100%
