    Small move

    These were great movers-- and they def. were proof of the good looking firemen stereotype being accurate.. The move went really well and smoothly- a few (labelled boxes) ended up in the wrong place (on the wrong floor) but such is. They also were able to put together some furniture on the spot as they were done earlier than their minimum time window. The frustration truly was the consultation for the move- the owner WAY overestimated the time and caused me much stress in a stressful time with my property management trying to book a double elevator session. His estimate was 4 hours elevator time but they actually only needed about 45 minutes. He also sent a massive truck that was less than 1/4 full. He added much unneeded stress by overestimating the amount of time and difficulty of what was a simple move. BUT the movers were great and the move day went smoothly- maybe take the owner's comments with a grain of salt. I take my reviews seriously as I base my decisions on other peoples. I went back through and decided to add a star on my own accord.

    We are super happy that this move went incredibly well for Joanna! It was me (Lorne Babiuk) who did this estimate back in October and at the time of the estimate the apartment had a lot of items, bins and boxes in it. Joanna did say that she was getting rid of a lot of stuff at that time. She even had hired an organizing company (a good one!) to help her with the job of preparing for her move. As an estimator it's my job to make sure that our clients understand what the worst case scenario would look like if they aren't able to get rid of as much stuff as they hoped for. I had a big concern whether we would be able to get this job completed (with a small elevator window) if the client was unable to scale back what was being moved. Obviously she did a great job of that! In these cases where a clients prepare well for their move they are the ones that benefit the most by paying less in the end. I'm very sorry that Joanna felt stressed about what I was telling her as that certainly was not my intent, nor ever would be, so my apologies there. I was simply trying to make sure that the client would know what the costs and time frame would look like if she was unable to scale back her contents.     Move from Toronto condo to Newmarket home

    This move went perfect. Kailen and Triston were on time, and took such care in the wrapping of furniture and loading all boxes and condo items. It was a 6th floor unit and a long hallway. Their price was excellent. Any move is a stress and worry throughout the process, and Firemen Movers made this the perfect experience.

    Move to two locations

    Firemen Movers were recommended to us by a few different people and we weren't disappointed. We had a move from a condo to a temporary location and to a house. The movers carefully wrapped and packed everything from the condo. There were several heavy items, as well as delicate items and they took great care placing them onto the truck. The first move of the day was an apartment above a retail location. The stairs up were narrow, but the movers got everything up without problem. It was a hot August day and you could see them sweating but they never complained. The final move was some items to a house. Work was being done at the house and access on the driveway was about 90% blocked. They were able to navigate around the obstacles and once again carefully move all the items to this destination. I will happily hire them again when I make my next move.

    Movers

    They showed up early. They worked hard and fast. They were careful with our breakable stuff. Nothing was damaged, (including either house). The guys were great-friendly, professional and fun. We are planning on using them for our business move soon.

    Condo to house move

    I signed up with Firemen Movers for my move from a 1 + 1 bedroom condo to the second floor of my parent's three storey house. I was looking for a stress-free, efficient experience due to the fact that I was moving on my birthday (!) and only had a limited amount of time off from work to pack up my belongings and when I saw the reviews written by others, it put my mind at rest, somewhat. There is always that niggling feeling of "What if my turn is different?". Well, I am glad to write that it was not different. I had an amazing, stress free experience moving on my birthday with Firemen Movers. Cody, Darcy and Ryan efficiently handled the logistics of packing, coordinating and unloading my numerous belongings in record time. They were also very friendly and professional at the same time, which was great. It was not a cheap move, but for the peace of mind and lack of stress that I got, it was well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a hassle-free, efficient moving experience. Thank you!

    Office Move

    Couldn't have been happier with Jamie R, Dave H and Chris H with Firemen Movers. They guys did an amazing job moving our office in less time than estimated, and overcoming a few very large heavy obstacles along the way. Thanks for everything and highly recommend them.

    A condo-to-condo move within Toronto

    I have to admit that I was suspicious of the many "10" ratings but I now believe that these guys deserve them. We've had plenty of moves and I think this one was the best. Damage was minimal. Nothing lost. It was a hot day but they worked hard to finish before the 4-6 "no stopping" zone in front of our destination took effect. All of the guys were very pleasant. Not cheap but I would definitely use them again.

    Movers

    Jesse, Chris T. And Jay showed up right on time, were friendly and very efficient. They took care with our belongings and got our move into the city completed in a timely manner. The company was incredibly professional, I would highly recommend this company to anything ne looking for professional and courteous movers.

    moving and storage

    Jamie, Matt and Triston arrived at the time promised. They worked quickly but with great care for our belongings. Finished with our furniture in place one hour ahead of estimate. We have already recommended them to several of our friends and will continue to do so. Our thanks for a job well done.

    Movers

    We used Firemen Movers for our recent move. Jamie, Chris and Romus arrived on time, were friendly, professional and very hard working. When they arrived they introduced themselves, asked for a tour of the home and very quickly got to work loading the truck. All of the furniture was wrapped and protected, items that held sentimental value were treated with extra care. At the destination they again did a tour to get to know the layout of the house and quickly got to work unloading. Everything that had been wrapped up was carefully unwrapped and any packing materials used were removed. I'd highly recommend Firemen Movers.
