From start to finish this company was professional, careful and performed extremely well over the two day move. Aaron did the estimate - very professional and crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's. We went through every room, shed, storage room, attic etc. in the house and he seemed to take excellent notes. I had high hopes for the moving experience. The moving crew - Worked hard and stayed focused from start to finish. Jeremy was a good leader and kept everything running efficiently. A few items were slightly damaged due to very short lapses by 2 crew members being a bit rough and Jeremy pointed out the damage but it was too minor to be a real issue. Overall, since I was never expecting white glove service, I feel the crew delivered a very good performance. On day one, when the first team arrived, they knew by mid-day they needed more people and a second truck. They were able to get another mover for 3 hours in the afternoon and the first three guys did a great job of keeping up a good pace from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Jeremy and the crew (and the company for quickly sending a second truck) adapted well to the new reality. I contacted Melissa in the office about extra costs and she confirmed I would not be charged for the second truck which I really appreciated since the truck would be travelling 300 km round trip to and from the new house. We agreed that the extra person and having a 4 person unloading team (instead of 3) on day 2 would mean extra costs. Even though the actual costs were more than the estimate, I understand our move was a little harder to estimate than others as we had a LOT of break down built in furniture that we were moving to the new house. In the end, we are very satisfied with the value we received. We would highly recommend this company. Thank you, Al and Lisa

These guys were prompt, efficient, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend their crew for a short or long haul move. it is a bonus that none of them smoked!

Just having a new born and with packing and moving from our storage units and condo to our new home you were all ver professional and exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend and would call Firemen movers again for our next move when it comes to that time. Firemen Movers packed, stored and moved our belongings. We nteracted with about 12 employees over 5 days. All but one ( who was below average and was significantly below expectations) were outstanding which is a pretty good ratio of outstanding employees to below average. Lorne ( one of the founders and our first point of contact) and the office manager , Melisa, are extremely professional, polite and confidence inspiring. The other nine employees who I rate as outstanding were also very polite and professional. One piece of furniture was damaged and the company had it repaired to our satisfaction. We will engage the company again.

In a word, excellent. Not only did they dismantel, blanket and plastic wrap all of the big furniture, they reassembled it and all without a scrtach, ding or damage to any walls in both homes. They were professional, curtious and clean cut. Their moving truck is as clean and beatuiful as we've come to expect with their fire trucks. My wife was extremely happy which of course means that I'm happy too! Down sizing from a big home with over 25 years of accumulated stuff isn't easy as anyone who's done this knows. Thank you Firemen Movers for taking a ton of stress off of my family.

I moved at the end of December 2015 from a one bedroom apartment. Jamie and Jake were awesome! They were very polite and professional. They moved me into my new place very quickly. I highly recommend Firemen Movers for a quick and painless move.

Jessie and his team were friendly, fun and helpful! They moved my family on a cold winter day, stored our stuff overnight and drove 3.5 hours North-East to our new home! Everything survived the trip and they set-up furniture and even offered a little friendly advice on interior decorating!

My move date was December 22, 2015 and I moved out of a large one-bedroom condo. Kailen and Bismark did an amazing job! They were friendly, professional, and effective. They started with an introduction, a handshake, and a review of the premises. From there, they worked quickly and efficiently to load up the van. All furniture was well wrapped too. I appreciated that they showed up at the second location quickly - clearly no stops on the way. I moved into a three-floor townhouse with narrow stairs and they didn't damage anything - not even the walls, which I would have expected with this type of move. They also didn't slow down either, despite the warm weather and stairs, stairs, stairs. Bismark actually carried my queen size mattress with one arm. My mom couldn't believe it! I had marked every container (go Frogbox!) and they placed each one at the right spot too, which saved me lots of time afterward. I deducted one star for price as 1.5 hours of travel time was billed automatically (plus another $45 for fuel surcharge) though I was 15 mins drive from one location to the next. This drove up the cost and didn't reflect the actual gas or travel time at all. Other than that, the service price was worth every penny! I was extremely pleased and highly recommend Firemen Movers for their excellent service.

Move Date was Dec 16, 2015 If you’re looking for an honest company to help you move, I’d recommend Firemen! Doug, Co-Owner is a man of his word and delivered fantastic customer service. We had three men help us move the contents of our 3 bedroom bungalow over to a 2-storey, which took 9 hours, they never complained once, and did their best to ensure that all our contents were transferred safely. We would like to thank Ryan, Joe and Julian for doing a great job and making our move much easier, and to Doug, for making us feel comfortable throughout the whole process from beginning to end! Great guys!!

The whole experience was fantastic from in home estimate with business owner to the day of the move with Jesse, Tristan and Kareem. The staff arrived on site and introduced themselves. We did a quick walk through and the process began. They worked efficiently and with care for our home and belongings. The staff was very conrgile and went the extra mile. The whole process from start to finish was quicker than excepted. Upon completion we were given a new home welcome package with fire safety tips and Firemen Hot Sauce. I highly recommend Firemen Mover
