    Moving residences

    Thank you Jamie R., Matt C., Luc V., and Kailen, M. for a professional and stress-free move. My elderly mother who was moving from her house to a senior's apt. said she felt at ease, respected and confident throughout her move. For my mother to say that is a vote of confidence. She was totally relaxed because of the friendliness and the five star treatment that she received. Overall they were punctual, very friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. No question about going with Firemen Movers again. A big thanks again.

    Move

    Great experience moving. Movers were Jamie R, Kailen M (special K) and Chris T. All were professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend Firemen Movers to any of my friends.

    Move from apartment to house

    Firemen movers did an exceptional job helping us with our move. They were friendly, professional, and courteous. The individual who gave us the quote was incredibly straightforward and upfront with the price, which we really appreciated. On the day of the move, they were punctual and efficient. They took exceptional care to ensure none of our furniture broke or scratched the newly renovated floors/walls, and they were creative when it came to fitting larger pieces of furniture through smaller doorways. We were especially pleased when they took the initiative to remove an old box spring we no longer needed. In total, the move took one hour longer than budgeted. I would recommend firemen movers to anyone considering a move.

    Firemen Movers

    Thank you, hardly seems like enough( well I paid my bill too haha)! My moving date was September 22/14. My crew of three, very capable, presentable, young men, Jamie, Moses and James, arrived on time, and after listening carefully to my small requests, they went to work! I downsized from a 2,400 sq ft home to a three story townhouse, with waayyy too many stairs. They never blinked an eye( or groaned) .. The couches were expertly hoisted over the balcony and through the patio door, when it was found that they weren't going to fit up the staircase, and everything was put into place and the beds set up. A lot of my furniture is heavy solid wood( Durham bedroom set with panel queen bed, double dresser, two side tables, and armoire.. The armoire didn't make it, it's now a TV armoire on the main floor). Every piece was carefully wrapped and bundled with protective quilted pads, and I can honestly say, there may only be one small ding in the wall. Happy happy customer!!     Moving from a house to a condo

    They were not good, They were GREAT! They were not on time, they came 10 minutes early. From the quotes that Doug gave us which is on the dot to the move from a house to condo...it was flawless. We hear about all the terrible movers out there, but we never hear about the fabulous ones that do their jobs with grace under pressure. They never complained about the oversized or heavy items; they just got it done pronto. They wrapped all the furnitures carefully and set them up in the new place just where you want them. We had to make them take a break for lunch because they were working so hard. What can I say, we are a FAN of Firemen Movers. We are so happy that Kailen, David, Mat C and Ryan moved us.... Thanks Guys! PS. Don't forget to tip these guys when you are paying by credit card. They deserved every penny.

    Condo Moving

    We hired Firemen Movers to relocate us from one condo to another. The condo we moved into had a small boutique elevator and external stairs to a separate entrance. We asked for 4 bodies as we had a significant amount of stuff and we thought the move would be difficult. The four crew were Kailen, Adam, Jeremy & Ryan and the were flawless. The wrapped everything and didn't nick any of our custom sprayed door trim or doors. All the furniture came up the stairs and some of it had to go up the neighbours stairs and over a railing. They did an amazing job and we will definitely use them again. We highly recommend them.

    moving

    My son and I had two weeks to move. Based on reviews on Homestars, I chose them to pack and move us. From Janice in the office, to the men who moved us - Andrew B., Adam C., and Vytas S., - the move was wonderful. They came on time, were gracious and unbelievably hard-working, and all of that in sweltering heat. I will NEVER choose another mover and recommend them without hesitation to everyone. Their rates are upfront, their estimates almost to the minute and their good cheer was a tonic at a stressful time. Don't bother shopping around - they are the real deal!

    Moving

    Our movers - Kailen, Dave & Bismark - were awesome. They arrived on time, loaded and unloaded everything really carefully, and were just really nice guys. This was our first time using professional movers and we were really, really happy with these guys. The hot sauce as a housewarming gift was a nice touch, too. Thanks!

    Move from Downtown to the Burbs

    There is nothing short of amazing that can describe what these guys were. From the quoting process to the actual move, there was constant communication and feedback with us that made us feel involved as part of their process. The quoting process was awesome. Doug took care of that. On the tour of our place, he gave some nifty pointers to make the moving day go faster and provided us with a detailed quote and a pricing that was to be the highest that we could pay. He did advise that if the job was less, they'd charge less. He took the time to answer all our questions and concerns that we had as well. On the day of the move itself, what can I say? Firstly, they showed up early. Which moving company even does that in this day and age? Jamie, Kailen and Alex first did a quick walk through and laid protective runners across the house to ensure that they didn't cause a mess. They wrapped every piece of furniture and electronics that we had very safely and took care when putting them in the truck. They three of them were a very well oiled machine and you can tell that they enjoyed what they were doing. At the new place, they even helped mount our TV on the wall and set back up our dining table and offered to help re-assemble our beds for us. As mentioned above, our job was quoted at 10 hours and took about 4. We were just charged for the 4 hours as promised. Would I use them again if I had to move? Heck yes. There is no reason for me to look around. Should you use Firemen Movers - there is no reason for you too look elsewhere. What are you waiting on?

    The guys at Fireman movers were FANTASTIC! We had a carefree move thanks to JamieR, MosesR, RyanH, and AdamC. Prompt, careful, professional, fast, courteous, knowledgeable ... we'll be recommending them to all our friends and family.
