Milton was professional and pleasant. He said the cushions would be ready in 10 days, but they were ready in 4. He came on time, returned to make sure his measurements were exact and now I'm looking around my house to see what other items need to be redone ;-)

Yes these reviews are true. I was referred by a neighbour and also found Milton on homestars. He is definately not the least expensive. However, you get what you pay for. Milton does quality work. He re-upholstered and rebuilt my mid century Danish teak armchair with new fabric/ foam and springs to like new condition in 1 day! He added a few little details to make it modern again. Thanks Milton. Will definately come back for future projects!

Found T.J. Uphostery on homestars.I couldn"t believe the reviews but they are true.Milton is a really a good guy who does fine work at a reasonable price.I had a wing back chair & stool reupholstered and the wood refinished.I will definitely be back again.

We hired TJ Fine Upholstering last year to reupholster a built-in breakfast nook in our house. We are 100% satisfied with the result, and in all our dealings with Milton and his associate. There was a slight hitch in the job, which Milton fixed for no extra charge. We will gladly hire them again to do more pieces when we are ready.

I hired Milton to reupholster a sofa and ottoman for a client of my new decorating business. Milton picked up and delivered the furniture at no extra charge, turned around the upholstery in record time, and was very pleasant to deal with along the way. And his prices were very competitive. I will definitely be calling Milton again in the future.

Everything old is new again - thanks to Milton! When I wanted to ditch my old slip-covered sofa and contemporize it, I called Milton, based on other reviews I'd read on Homestars, to see if we could remove the slip cover and upholster the sofa that lay beneath. Milton doesn't say 'no' - and within a few weeks, he delivered my transformed sofa on time and on budget, It was beautiful. He didn't leave my house empty-handed though as I asked him to cart off two brand new chairs (crazy, I know!) to re-upholster them also. The chairs had a wonderful contemporary design, but the fabric had to go. Once again, Milton delivered a fabulous end result and I now love my chairs. He offers a wide range of fabric and if he doesn't have what you're looking for, he'll make sure you're 100% satisfied and send you to a variety of fabric suppliers. Milton isn't happy until you're happy. Throughout my two projects, he often said, "I want you to love your piece" "I want it to be perfect" "I want you to be happy". I do, it is and I am!! Everything about my experience working with Milton exceeded my expectations. He came to my house to pick up my sofa and ottoman to upholster and within a week came back to drop them off completed. The finished product was flawless - it made me want to find more pieces for Milton to "fix". His prices were fair, his fabric selection extensive and he was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use him again for future projects.
