After reading the reviews of TJ's Upholstry, we decided to call him for quote. We also called several other top rated companies and found that we received the most competetive quote from TJ's. We were very satisfied with the work and their professionalism. We would definitely use them again.

We had been on the market for a new sofa for ages, and were considering a velvet Mitchell Gold/Bob Williams shelter-arm...however this came with the eye-watering price tag of about 5K. We are designers (though not usually of interiors) and thought we could do better. We found a pink full-size camelback on Craigslist with "good bones", as they say, from a lovely lady who was moving into a retirement home. We had Milton recover it in a seafoam sunbrella velvet and the finished product is DIVINE. He gave it a long bench cushion and beautiful piping. I would not hesitate to recommend Milton's services. Professional, beautiful work, and with very reasonable prices. Other shops quoted me between $1700-$2250 for the same job he did. Couldn't be more pleased and will definitely take my business back to him.

These tufted chairs have beautiful classic lines but they're 50 years old, and were shabby and dirty. The stuffing was rotten, so Milton basically had to rebuild them in entirety. He redesigned the tufting pattern as well, to modernize it. I brought him a vintage Hawaiian barkcloth, with no spare yardage. He was creative and careful with this finicky fabric. The final product is gorgeous and looks custom-made. Everyone who sees it just raves, and wants Milton's number for their own future reference! Thank you, Milton!

We had our couch restained and refinished by Milton and his team and couldn't be happier. The quality is excellent, the couch looks absolutely stunning. Milton was a pleasure to work with, and guided me through my decision about fabric expertly. The couch was ready promptly (2 weeks as promised), and Milton and his team were very accommodating to my schedule. The final cost was significantly less than other estimates I had received from other companies. I would absoluty recommend using TJ's to anyone looking to breathe new life into their furniture, and I am already planning which piece to have done next!

We dealt with Milton at T.J. partly due to his apparent glowing reviews....however, upon actually having the reupholstering completed, we were in total agreement with his deserved high ratings. Milton provided superior quality results, and was detail-oriented in his approach, and reached-out for customer interaction. His patience with us was appreciated too. Milton reupholstered 2 walnut mid-century chairs. He had many samples to choose from and his quote was very reasonable. The chairs were finished in a week's time and they look great. I decided to take my chairs to TJ's after reading reviews in Homestars and would use definitely use them again.

After receiving several quotes, Milton was by far the best. He ordered the fabric that we had chosen, which required setting up new accounts with new suppliers. He went the extra mile in making sure we got what we wanted. The work was well done, and worth the wait.
