I found Dave through HomeStars. I had a list of about 30 different repair jobs for him (from changing lightbulbs in front of house to re-grouting shower to installing a new Insinkerator. He was friendly and polite and had a nice personality. He showed up right on time, did the work very quickly and cleaned up all his mess as if he was never there. Everything looks fantastic thanks to him. I will definitely call him again.

David was such a lifesaver. Though this was a small job (by renovation standards), he applied himself enthusiastically and with dedication. He had to return 3 times to let mud dry, then sand, then prime, then paint. He actually called me 2 days later to be sure the paint had dried to my satisfaction. And took away a gallon of old paint to drop off at a disposal centre. Now how really great is that! I would definitively recommend DMS for any home repairs. Did I mention that he fixed a cabinet door that had been driving me crazy as it kept sticking and nothing seemed to work. Kudos to you David!

Dave did a great job with a whole range of items that had been building up over several years. Dave's approach to the work was as impressive as the quality of the results. For the biggest of the jobs, Dave gave me two options, and told me the cost and benefits of each, which helped me make a good decision what to do. For another job, Dave saw that a fast and easy adjustment would make it unnecessary to replace what I thought needed replacing, which saved over an hour's work and the replacement cost. The work was done in the spring and summer and everything is holding up perfectly. Dave was professional, courteous and reliable -- a very positive experience.

Due to a leak in my basement, I needed to get the damaged wall repaired and painted. After dealing with a number of others who took forever to get back to me, usually with some crazy quotes, David was quick to call me back, come by to see what needed to be done and gave a competitive quote. When it came time to do the work, he showed up on time, did the work as promised and did a great job on it too. During the project, he also took the time to keep me in the loop. And the final price was very reasonable - ie no surprises. Definitely would recommend him to anyone and use his services if I needed something else.

We had a set of french doors that had been sitting in our basement for many years . The condition of the doors was poor but once they were sanded down and installed with new hardware, they look great and add appeal to our dining/living room space. We have used DMS Home Services in the past and will continue to use their services for future home repair jobs.

Our doors close properly and our windows open properly, our new light fixture and smoke alarm have been installed, and our stair railing is once again secure. Our kitchen chairs don't wiggle and squeak and our laundry room dryer now plugs in properly to a new receptacle. These are just some of the jobs DMS Home Services has completed for us. Several years' worth of home maintenance tasks (some very small and others large) have now been taken care of - quickly, efficiently and with great care. Dave is a pleasure to work with and is generous with advice and suggestions. As soon as we are ready he'll be back to replace damp drywall and construct window well covers in our never-ending battle to keep our basement dry. We are so thrilled and relieved to have found him. Overall dave is very knowledgeable, creative and his quality of work is exceptional. Dave was hired to tackle a number of different home repairs that included: the repair and painting of window frames, ensuring bedroom doors close properly, replacement of exterior electrical outlet, installation of a front porch handrail, toilet removal and instalation of a new one, removal and clean-up of large wall mirrors and drywall, and finally some creative landscaping with patio stones and beach pebbles. I am very pleased and happy with everything! This is my second time hiring Dave and I definitely will call him again for the next jobs...... Thanks again Dave for all your exceptional work.
