Dave was able to fit us in on a short notice and came the following day. He was punctual, brought the right equipment that he purchased for the project and was done in the time frame he specified before the visit. I would definitely recommend his services and use them again.

David was very responsive when I first contacted him and offered an estimate of my project on the phone. He replaced some light fixtures that were challenging given the height of the ceilings as well as a dimmer switch and a window that was damaged. I am very pleased with the quality of the work not to mention that David arrived when he said he would, was very pleasant and efficient. I will definitely call him for my next home project and recommend him to anyone.

David is very professional and humble. Stands by his estimate (even though I asked him to do little extra things like hanging the wall clock and pictures. Very neat also. We'll have him back to vent the range hood outside (as soon as we had our roofing done) and to seal exterior windows (when the weather gets better).

I contacted DMS after reading reviews on Homestars. Dave removed an older ceiling fan and replaced it with a new one. He had to support the weight of the new fan by putting in a new supporting bracket (he had to go into the attic) - I had one switch in my bathroom that worked the light and the extractor fan - he changed that for me by adding an additional switch that way we can switch the light on without the fan coming on and he installed a new dryer hose. The work was done promptly and professionally. Dave will be returning soon to install new bedroom closet doors. Thanks Dave for a job well done.

Dave remodelled a laundry room, removing existing plumbing, building three sets of cupboards and installing a new ceiling. In addition, he replaced two complex cartridges in showers to prevent leaking. He was neat and courteous and he came when he said he would. His work was first rate. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to friends.

We have a small gate between the brick wall of our house and the brick wall of my neighbour's garage. My husband had triedto hang it himself and over the past two years, it comes loose every 4 to 6 months or so. I suggested that this time we get a professional to do it. Husband wholeheartedly agreed. I called David Thursday and he said he would come Monday. He indeed came on Monday and was even a bit early. The work took under an hour and the $50.00 we spent was absolutely worth it. He noted that my husband had been putting the bolts into the mortar and not the brick which is the proper way to do it. Lesson learned! It was -16 C today and anyone else might have tried to delay outside work to a warmer day. Thank you David for your professionalism!

I've used DMS for many services, most recently to seal our windows and build shelves in our storage room. He is dependable, knowledgabe and reasonably priced. I've recommended him to many friends who have also been pleased with his results.

We've called David several times this year to make various repairs in our old and new homes. These included stucco ceiling repair and minor floor sanding. He also installed several plumbing fixtures. His knowledge is great and his advice is also very helpful. We recommend him and will be calling him again in the future.
