Dave not only did a great job rebuilding and extending a deck but also came up with the initial ideas for the overall design which has resulted in a new deck which is outstanding. The work was done quickly, efficiently and cleanly and I would not hesitate in recommending Dave to anyone who requires this sort of high quality handicraft for their home.

Iris recently had her kitchen cupboards redone by Dave, whom I recommended to her. She did not hesitate in calling me back and stating that he did an excellent job. She was very pleased with his top-notch service and his quality of work. Thanks Dave.

David completed the redecoration in only a few days. It included a new hardwood floor, new baseboards, paint, including painting a 2-story stucco ceiling. The 2 story room needed lots of ladders -- I don't know how he reached the higher spots but he did. Also gave decorating advice for the paint, light fixtures and flooring. There was a big problem with the floor -- it was very uneven in a spot. David noticed this and corrected it with some sort of cement product. No way would have known how to do that. Thanks David!!!

I called on Dave to repaint my entire main level - living, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, 3 bedrooms, hallway and stairway. It was a significant piece of work especially since we had wallpaper in the living, dining room, hallway and stairs and it was thoroughly glued to the wall. Dave removed it all, mudded and sanded uneven areas before priming and painting it all. I then had him clean all my carpets and replace a mirror. The finished job is meticulous - this guy should be a professional painter! To cap it off, he's extremely tidy plus he arrives when he says he will, so no waiting around wondering if he'll show up! I've no hestitation in recommending Dave for any paint job or other handyman jobs for that matter (I have seen some of his other work so I know it's just as good). To prove the point, I've already booked him for two more jobs - tiling my entrance, kitchen and bathroom and then some gardening work.

We contacted Dave after reading Homestars' reviews and were not disappointed. The drywall seam on a corner wall in our kitchen had "popped" open and Dave quickly determined the metal slat had not been properly secured to the drywall. He replaced/repaired the problem and did repeated mudding and sanding including priming the surface for paint (and he would have painted it but we decided to do so ourselves). He also assessed and repaired problems with the closure of our front door and it has been securely shut ever since. In total he spent about 2.5 hours. Dave's work was of top quality. He arrived when he said he would, did a good job and cleaned everything up afterwards. To top it off, he's a really nice person. Dave will be the first person we call for any future projects.

I contacted Dave [last name removed--Ed] regarding a problem I had with my dishwasher tipping forward. He made suggestions as to what I could do myself to repair it but since I am not handy could not so, I called Dave. He provided prompt, courteous service and we were very pleased. I would definitely seek his services in the future and recommend him to friends.

This is the second time I'm using Dave's services. Again, Dave was quick to respond to my call and setup the date for the paint job. The job was completed on time, and quality was good. Next job is fixing floor tiles. I've already spoken with Dave and its a matter of confirming the date.

My husband and I were about to put our house up for sale and needed our front door painted immediately. We had our door painted many times before but Dave did the absolute best job. He is definitely a perfectionist and pays attention to every detail. He was punctual, trustworthy, dependable and his price was very fair. I'm certain that our wonderful looking door helped us sell our home in one week!!! Thanks Dave.

Dave has done several jobs for me. He shows up when he says he will and is very meticulous about what he does. He does a quality job for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use his services again.
