I needed a new garage door but also wanted to widen the opening to get a larger door, as the current one wouldn't fit any car. I found Danny to be very knowledgeable and did exactly what we agreed. He took opened up the frame carefully and put in a new door, track, rollers and door opener. I would definitely recommend him, and have already to look at a job at my parent's home.

We called Danny one morning and he was able to come out and give us an estimate the same day. He was able to replace the door 2 days later, recycling the old door. He was very friendly, running us through all he features of the new door opener (of course, leaving us a manual as well). Ours was a pretty simple job, nonetheless, we were very pleased with the service and the new door & opener! Job cost $950+tx.

My son left his hockey stick in the garage door track and it buckled causing the glass windows on the top panel to break and a crack in the panel itself. I found Morningstar on this website and called Danny. He came out the next day and fixed it! Excellent work and doesn't hurt that his prices were very, very reasonable compared to other quotes I got . I HIGHLY recommend Morningstar for you garage door needs. Thanks Danny!

I had been meaning to replace my old garage door opener for a long time. When I finally got around to it, I looked on Homestars.com to find a reputable company. The reviews of Danny and Morningstar are glowing, so I called at about 9:30am. My new garage door opener was installed by 1:00pm. I can't say enough about how great Danny was and how reliable he has been.When I had a question about the garage door opener after it was installed, he walked me through the issue and even offered to come back out if I couldn't figure out the feature. I am very happy with the service, and would most certainly work with Danny again.

I think everyone else has already said it. Danny is amazing at what he does -- and a pleasure to deal with. It's obvious that he loves what he does, and how often do you run into that in the service industry these days. Like never. He's fun. Friendly. And efficient. He tried the cost effective fix first, and when it became clear we needed to replace our garage door opener, it was no problem. I really like this guy.

Our old rusty garage door broke a cable. Danny was available right away to fix it, and at a reasonable cost. After, I noticed it wasn't perfect - he did tell me it was too old to find replacement parts. But I called him and he came back, found a low-cost solution, and it's now better than before. He didn't charge for the second trip, though I gave something anyway.

This morning I got in my car, as I usually do every morning, to go to work, only to find out that the garage door would not open. I tried opening it manually but the door is heavy! I went back inside and went straight to Homestars to find a reputable repair company. I called Danny at Morningstar because he's in my neighbourhood. Danny was friendly, professional and on time and he had my garage door fixed by 1pm. The service price was reasonable and I would definitely recommend Morningstar!

Danny came within 90 minutes of our emergency phone call - we had managed to damage our automatic garage door system to such extent that it would not open or close. The tracks were all bent and out of shape and my husband had cut the cables the night before when he realized that they were all tangled and were preventing the door from closing at all. Danny was able to fix the tracks and replace the cables and have everything working fine within 45 minutes of arriving at our house. A total find.

I needed my old barn-style garage door upgraded to a new door. I had several people come in to provide quotes, but this was the best one. I was not disappointed at all - fast, efficient service with excellent workmanship. The new door works perfectly..would definitely recommend to anybody needing a door upgrade! Thanks!

Our automatic garage door opener was broken last summer and we never got around to fixing it until now. We called Morning Star Sunday afternoon, and Danny replied that evening. He came this morning (MON), arriving a few minutes early and quickly repaired problem and adjusted improper set up of original work. Thank you so much for the great work!
