If you make one call, this is it! My garage door fell off the track, I called Danny for emergency repair. He said he would come by in 30 minutes and was here in 25 minutes. I was expecting to wait for a hour or more. He just left 5 minutes ago, I couldn't be happier with the job. He fixed the door, explained what happened and why. I suggest doing more work, he advised against it and he gave me some tips to ensure the door lasts for years to come. Very Happy customer.

My cable broke on my garage door and therefore we could not open or close the door. I called Danny at noon and by 2:30pm he was at our house and installed all new cables. Very satisfied. Danny is excellent!

I've been having trouble closing my garage doors for quite some time and the only way to keep them from sticking closed was to not close them all the way, but keep them open about 2 inches from the ground. This worked well until a family of raccoons moved in. Once I had the raccoons removed I needed fast help in repairing the doors so the raccoons wouldn't return. Danny from Morningstar was fantastic and came that same evening to assess what needed to be done, and returned the following day to repair the garage doors. I was extremely impressed when he was not only able to repair my 70-year-old doors but seemed delighted with the challenge.

I called Morningstar based on past reviews on Homestars. We have a two car garage with 2 doors. One of the cables had rusted and fallen off on one side of a door. Danny and his colleague came within a couple of hours. I was home alone with a baby but felt at ease and comfortable with them right away. They were both professional, happy, and down-to-earth. I had done some previous research on the web and asked if I needed to replace the spring as well since it looked rusted all over. Danny took a look and said it could probably last another year or two so why pay now? He said the same when I asked if the cables on the other door should be replaced at the same time. I really appreciated his honesty and that he wasn't trying to make this unnecessarily a much bigger job. They replaced the cables on both sides of one door and also ended up replacing a roller and some other parts and made adjustments so that the door opened/closed more smoothly. They sprayed all the parts before they left. I'm extremely satisfied with their work and the entire process and will definitely use this company again.

Have used Morningstar on many occasions and I am a very satisfied return customer. Danny has fixed my doors on many occasions and most recently installed new doors. Did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

My garage door cables used to come off chronically and last time I tried to fix it the spring lost its tension. I called Danny and he said he would be there between 3-5pm. I called him around 5pm and he said he is running late. They came around 5:45 and he right away figured out the the problem, a bad bearing, and replaced it. Friendly guy and very helpful.

I contacted Danny from Morningstar Garage Door to obtain a quote on fixing a broken torsion spring on my 20 years old garage door. Danny was very quick in responding to my emails. Provided me with a great price and came out the same day to do the job. Danny and Kyle from Morningstar who worked together on my garage door arrived on time and did the job quickly. They were very professional, knowledgeable, happy and organized. Danny also made an adjustment to the chain track to improve the door operation and provided me with tips on how to extend the life of newly installed torsion springs (I ended up replacing both). I highly recommend Danny from Morningstar to anyone who needs to have work done on the garage door. Great service for a great price!

Danny and his work are both excellent! We have a 70 year old, crooked, wooden garage. He expertly chose and installed a brand new steel door for us, all square. It works perfectly. Once, on a frozen winter day several months after the installation, the door got stuck. We called Danny for advice and he came over, in all the snow, in less than two hours. He adjusted the door, no charge. You can't do better than that! Danny is a pleasure to work with ... a good communicator, capable, efficient, prompt, and his prices are absolutely reasonable.

My residential garage door was basically falling apart. I contact Morningstar for a replacement and they went above and beyond. No only was the door much nicer then expected, it functions smoother then butter ! ...solid service, product and would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their garage door.

In general I agree with all of the great reviews. Danny installed my door in 2008. In July of this year (2013) the cables came off, so I called and Danny was here within a couple of hours. I was very impressed. Unfortunately in September, the cables came off again. I called Danny and he said he couldn't come until the next day. That was fine, except that he never came. I called him and he said he was very busy and would come the next day. This continued all week and I was losing patience. If he had told me up front that he couldn't come for a few days, I would have been fine with that. Anyway, he finally came on Saturday morning and fixed my door at no cost. The cost I entered in the approximate cost field above was what he had charged me in July. He even spent a few minutes patting my dog, who was enjoying watching him work, so all was forgiven. I would recommend Morningstar to anyone who asked.
