    Roof and eavestrough replacement

    We contacted Robert at the Cutting Edge Roofing and within a few weeks, had a brand new roof and eavestrough. Jimmy, Robert's site supervisor was an absolute please to deal with - his team had the old roof removed and the new shingles installed in one day. Their cleanup was also immaculate - not a scrap of debris left around our house. The eavestrough replacement was completed just a few days later, again with no issues. I highly recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing. Not only did Robert provide a detailed quote with photos, he also spoke to us in person about the project cost and timing.

    Roof replacement

    I had contacted about 6 roofing companies to give me quotes for a new roof and finally picked The Cutting Edge. Jimmy, the site supervisor answered all my questions, checked out my attic for any mould issues and gave a detailed estimate. They also installed & hooked up a kitchen vent and two bathrooms vents. The guys showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Throughout the work, Jimmy took lots of pictures of the different stages of the roof replacement. Afterwards, he emailed them all to me. It is great to be able to see the work being completed as it gives you piece of mind that the work is actually being done as per the estimate. They puts large tarps around the house to protect the surroundings and did a great job at cleaning up the grounds afterwards. They also use a trailer to haul away all the old plywood and old shingles instead of placing a large junk bin on your driveway. I would highly recommend The Cutting Edge. Thank you for doing a great job on my roof! (Work was completed on July 22, 2019)

    Fantastic Experience

    Jimmy made this process so simple. Provided a very detailed and upfront estimate and answered all my questions in a timely and helpful manner. The day of the job was flawless, his crew arrived right on time and finished on schedule. The roof is looking great and I am very pleased with their work. I really appreciated all the pictures he took through the day so I could see what they did. THey also did a fantastic job of cleaning up, you couldn't even tell they were there. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend The Cutting Edge!

    New roof

    I have never been happier with a roof. Our old house roof was done years ago and was finding nails months later. Robert and his team did a fantastic job replacing our shingles and cleaning up everything they could. I believe they went above and beyond for us and would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. Very knowledgeable and answered every question I had with ease.

    Excellent Roofing Job

    Robert came and quoted our roof about a month ago, and told us at the time it would take a month to get to us. He helped us decide which shingles and skylight, and explained what products would be used on our roof and how they would be installed. True to Robert's word, the crew was here this week to replace our roof. Very professional and thorough. They told us how they would proceed before starting and did the work exactly as such. Finished the upper roof and pool shed in one day and returned to finish the lower roofs and skylight the next day. The improvement in the new skylight is already noticeable in reduced heat gain in the upstairs of our house. All questions we asked of them were answered cheerfully and little details we mentioned were addressed with no hesitation on the part of Robert and the crew. At the conclusion of the job they cleaned up so that one would hardly know they had been there. The crew leader took pictures at various stages through the process and emailed them to us when the job was completed so that we could see how the work had been done. All in all we couldn't ask for a nicer crew or a more beautiful looking result. The roof looks great, no more leaks, and we look forward to many years with no more roof worries. Our sincere thanks to the whole crew, Robert, Jimmy, Pierre, Bill, Tyler and Peter for your hard work and careful approach to getting the job done, while protecting our house and the safety of both crew and homeowners. We couldn't be happier. And we would wholeheartedly recommend Robert and Cutting Edge to anyone looking for a quality roofing job.

    Roofing

    It all started with Robert. Came and gave us a quote and explained everything they would do. Well his crew did much more. Extremely satisfied with the service..Jimmy the crew chief was very pleasant and his crew worked very hard on such a hot day. When the job was completed you would have never known they were there except for the new roof. I would recommend The Cutting Edge to anyone

    No More Worries

    I met with Robert on Friday evening, and his crew arrived early Monday morning, as promised. Thanks to the crew’s excellent work, my home is safe from leaks. The crew was extremely polite and friendly, and they treated my home like it was their own. They covered my gardens, and cleaned up so well you couldn’t even tell they’d been, except for the new roof. Thanks for the pictures Jimmy. They were fabulous. I highly recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing for anyone who needs their roof replace. Thanks again to Robert, Jimmy and the crew for their outstanding work!

    great work

    Hi Jimmy, Thank you for the pictures. I have to tell you that we were very pleased about the work that you and your team did today. You arrived when you said you were going to, you protected our plants and property, your team were respectful and polite (not one swear word which we really appreciated with our grandkids here today!), you all worked so hard and did a terrific job, and you cleaned up every scrap of debris! And you had to work around all of our deck construction mess, which did not make your job any easier, I am sure. And Robert, we truly appreciate the speediness of getting this job done for us! We are so glad that we found your company and your team to complete this work for us.     Excellent experience

    Cutting Edge recently replaced our old roof. We got quotes from several companies that are highly rated on Homestars. Robert was the only one to return my call quickly, and the only one who came to the house and got up on the roof to check things out. He also provided a detailed written quote. What was most impressive, though, is that all the advice Robert gave matched what I found through researching online (things like Owens Corning shingles, installing in the summer, open valleys vs closed, using synthetic paper, using 6 ft of ice-and-water-shield instead of 3 ft, etc). His quote wasn't the cheapest, but it was quite reasonable given the extra work. Regarding the shingle, the Owens-Corning shingle that Robert recommends has a patented strip that makes nailing easier and also makes the seal better - another highly-rated competitor recently switched from GAF shingles to Owens-Corning and has posted a youtube video showing how only Owens-Corning doesn't rip apart. Robert's crew, led by Jimmy, also did a great job of being on-schedule, answering all our questions, and was fairly thorough with cleanup. Our job ended on a Friday, and the crew did seem to forget to magnet-broom some nails in the grass. But Robert personally corrected it a few days later, and also took care of a few other minor details. Stuff happens, but it's how the company takes care of it that matters, and I was fully satisfied.

    New Roof

    We are most pleased with our new roof completed by The Cutting Edge with Jimmy as Site-Supervisor. The team was very professional with preparation and exceptional clean up. Jimmy took several photos of our roof as the job progressed throughout the day and emailed them to us at the end of the day to give us a bird's eye view of the work being done.
