We noticed a marked difference right away with Sobol Inc from when Archie came to our house to quote for the job. Many other window guys from the big companies were arrogant, pushy and sales like, but Archie came on time, with good ideas and a sincere interest in our plans, along with hand on expirenece. His quote was superior, with a detailed cost breakout and pictures of the windows chosen. On installation day, the team was quick, courteous, friendly and extremely tidy. You wouldn't know that work had been done other than the great new windows in place! We highly recommend Sobol Inc. You will not be disappointed. We are calling them back to install a patio door in a window opening very soon.

This is the second time we have used SOBOL and Archie to install some new windows in our home. As usual, Archie was on time, and he and his worker installed the 2 windows perfectly. We were extremely pleased with the result and will no doubt be calling him when we decide to tackle the next set of windows.

I contacted Sobol Inc because of their positive reviews on Homestars after another company failed to return my call. Archie returned calls and emails promptly and scheduled an appointment to visit my home very soon after we spoke. When he came to give the quote, he was professional and courteous, offered suggestions that resulted in cost-savings, and was patient with my goofy puppy. The window were ready to be installed quite quickly after the order was placed, and the installer was equally as friendly and capable. The cost of the replacement windows was less than what I expected while the product is of good quality. Overall, I was very pleased with my dealings with Sobol Inc, and will be calling them again in the future.

I used the same window contractor for years and I asked him to quote my recent job. He took one look at the basement cut-out and basement door and said he couldn't do the job because it was too difficult. I found Archie (Sobol) on Homestars and he said he could do the entire job. My only other problem was that it had to be done fast and within a tight budget. Archie said he could deliver and his price was fair. The job was done on time and on budget. Like some of you, I was initially skeptical after reading all the glowing reviews/testimonials about Archie and his team on both Homestars and Sobol Inc.'s own website. Now that I have actually done business with them, I have to say that Sobol lived up to its exceptional reviews and exceeded my expectations at every turn. From the moment I called Archie a little over a week ago to completion yesterday, everything - site visit/estimate, written quotation, installation - went ON or AHEAD of schedule. I was especially impressed by Archie's responsive manner and the fact that he did not try to oversell or inflate his prices given the tight deadline that I had to meet for this project. I received higher quotes from other contractors who required more time. When Archie came on site to inspect the finished work, I asked him about the front door of the house, which was not opening and closing as smoothly as it could. Archie, Maga, and Yuri gladly agreed to fix the problem for a nominal fee. This reinforced my impression of Sobol as a nimble, accommodating firm that I am happy to recommend to everyone looking to have doors or windows replaced/serviced.

Our 90 yr old house had 29 yr old windows that were in pretty bad shape and after a cold winter it was time to do something about it. The job included replacing 5 windows and a garden door with single-hung vinyl windows and a sliding patio door. All were argon-filled and Energy Star rated. After several weeks of self-education and research we called in 3 highly reputable and well reviewed companies listed on Homestars. One company can be considered large, one medium sized and Sobol Inc which was the smallest. Let me interrupt the review by saying that even getting to the point of choosing 3 companies was very difficult as there are is so much conflicting information in the marketplace about different kinds of windows and their respective performance, which manufacturer's produce quality products, which retailer/installer to use. In short it was a stressful process from beginning to end, but taking the time to educate myself before calling for estimates really helped. Pre-sales - We obtained quotes from all 3 companies. Archiel from Sobol was the first to respond to our call and arranged for a prompt on-site inspection. He was knowledgeable and provided many practical suggestions to my ideas and questions. A reasonable quote was provided quickly and his response to our many revisions was also quick. We decided to choose Sobol in part because we knew that as a smaller business with almost no marketing and no "Customer Service Department" their survival depended on word of mouth and good reviews. Still, it seemed like a risky decision at the time because for all we knew, Sobol could close shop any minute in comparison to larger companies. However, we felt that Archiel had been very responsive and would be personally accountable for our satisfaction and we were right. Sobol was able to work with the window manufacturer to deliver and schedule the install in a very tight timeline. Installation - Sobol's crew was on-time, courteous, and patient with my many questions while trying to do their work. I have to admit I felt bad for them during the install. It was a cold 2 days, the age of the house made for some unexpected difficulties, and I watched them like a hawk. I was impressed that while they worked quickly they were not in a rush to simply finish and leave. It was obvious to me that they take pride in the quality of their work. The installation, trim and aluminum exterior capping all exceeded my expectations. Post-sale - Archiel came to our house the day after the install to inspect each window and door to ensure that it was up to his standard and took the time to go through the operation and maintenance recommendations. In summary, we could not possibly be happier with our choice of Sobol Inc for this project. I would gladly be a reference for any homeowner looking to hire Sobol that wished to ask me questions about the entire experience.

Despite the time it took us to choose the type of windows, which ones needed replacing and the exterior color Archie never made us feel rushed or pressured. We were most impressed with his patience, honesty, and cooperation as he helped us with the decision making process. The windows were installed on time as scheduled weeks earlier. Archie was always communicating with us about timing and he kept his promises. The final product is extremely professional and the attention to detail and the extra finessing on the installation really shows top quality work. The exterior looks fantastic and the house now is significantly less drafty. Archie runs a great company. We are very pleased, and will use Sobol Inc. for any additional work. We had six windows replaced by Sobol Inc. in March 2011. Archie and Uri were clean, courteous and got the tricky installation done very quickly. They responded to all of our questions and provided a detailed tutorial on the operation and maintenance of our new windows. We would use Sobol Inc. again and will readily refer them to our friends. For vinyl window fabrication and installation these guys are a great choice.

The installers were professional and used extreme care while working both inside and outside the house in harsh weather conditions. We are happy with the windows, the installation, and would recomend Sobol Inc to our friends. He was respectful and explained us the different types of windows.Neat and clean and they disposed the old windows. Punctual and always showed up on time.
