We needed some new windows for the 3rd floor of our Victorian. I did lots of research including checking Homestars. I got Archie in for a quote. The quote was very fair and I felt like we were in safe hands. Archie was a pleasure to deal with and everything went smoothly. Everything was done as described and I do not hesitate to recommend Sobol Inc and Archie to anyone.

There's a reason that after 42 (now 43) reviews, Archie and Sobol Inc have a perfect score. Archie went above and beyond in walking two first timers through the process. He was quick to answer all of our questions, and we threw a lot of them at him. I would recommend Sobol Inc to anyone in the market for new windows. Great prices and great workmanship. It didn't take long after moving into a 90 year old home to realize that hiring and dealing with contractors is no easy task. It's always a hard decision to choose a contractor that you have never worked with before. I found out about Sobol on homestars and all the reviews we're accurate. The installers we're clean and professional and Archiel was kind and accommodating. I love the windows and a job well done. They went above and beyond what I expect of a window installer. Highly recommended.

We found Sobol Inc through Homestars and couldn't be happier with the job they did replacing almost all of the windows in our 3 storey home. Archie was always very patient and willing to explain the details of the window installation. I e-mailed Archie many times with questions and he always provided prompt and courteous replies. We had an original 90+ year old stained glass window in the front of the house which I wanted to have inserted between two panes of glass in a fixed window above a single-hung window below. All of the other contractors that quoted on the job said they couldn't do it and encouraged me to simply hang the stained glass in a frame in front of the window, which would have interfered with raising the window below. Archie went out of his way to make it work and hand delivered the stained glass to a separate company who prepared the window insert. It was completed the week after Archie had finished replacing the rest of our windows. Archie came after hours to install it himself and we are thrilled with the results. Archie and his crew were very hardworking, clean and efficient and managed to complete the work within 3 days. I highly highly recommend Sobol Inc and have already done so to many of my friends, neighbours and colleagues. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Archie is amazing!! We needed a small window in our bathroom shower stall replaced on a tight timeline. We called Sobol Inc based on the Homestars recommendations and we couldn't be happier. Within a day of e-mailing, Archie came out (exactly at the time he said he would) measured our window and quoted us at a much lower price than everyone else we spoke to. The window actually arrived early! Again, Sobol Inc arrived to put in the window exactly when they said they would, very neatly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company.

Archie and his team (the politest and cleanest group around!) replaced all the windows and 3 doors in my home over a 3 day period. My tiny home is not air-conditioned, is very old with lopsided walls and uneven angles. Despite this, and having to work in searing heat,the team did an exceptional job, was very professional and I would easily recommend them to anyone wanting windows and doors replaced. No wonder they have received such great ratings in the past!

I truly have nothing negative to say about Archie and his team...they exceeded our expectations. We had 3 quotes in addition to Archie's. His was not the lowest (pretty close) but was the most comprehensive. He broke down the costs so that we could perform a proper comparison…problem was, two of the other quotes we received included no real breakdown. (This goes without saying, but, if your contractor cannot show you a line-by-line account of his/her estimates, do not consider doing business with them). I have no reservations whatsoever recommending Sobol. None!

I found Archie (Sobol Inc) through Homestars and got a quote from him along with one other highly recommended installer. Surprisingly, they both sourced the same window company, so it was a perfect comparison when the quotes came in. Based on previous reviews, I was expecting Archie to come in higher, imagining that he would win out with better service, and was pleasantly surprised to see his quote was almost $1000 lower. So we happily booked him! Then came the decision process. Archie was totally patient with us as we made 3 or 4 revisions over the course of a few weeks, and helped us decide on the windows we really wanted. His view is that it is better to take your time and get all the tiny details right before the job starts, a refreshing concept in a city full contractors looking to get in and out and just get your money. 3-4 weeks later they started the install over the course of 3 days. This included all of our windows being replaced (we have a wonky un-level old house which posed tons of problems with installing),and the addition of 2 new windows where there were previously just walls. The workmanship on installation was perfect, the flashing on the exterior flawless, but our biggest joy came from how nice, kind, and clean they were. They tarped every room before working, and at the end of each day, our house was totally cleaned and back to normal as if nobody was ever there. Working with Archie has the comfort level of working with family (if you like your family that is!), and we couldn't be more happy with this whole experience. Archi was easy to deal with, accurate in his pricing, very professional in every way. His work is excellent and completed on time. He replaced all of our windows in four days. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Their pricing is very reasonable, and Archiel took the time to explain the features of the types of windows available, to help me make the right choice. They were punctual, quick and efficient in doing the work, and left the place clean and tidy. The windows look great. I recommend this company very highly.
