    Piano Move

James and his crew have moved my piano twice: to and from my basement; needed because of renovations to the main floor. The job was done very professionally and courteously and I would have no hesitation in asking him to do this again if needed.

    Answer from pro:

It was always a pleasure. We will serve you better next time!

    Piano Move

James was able to fit us in his tight schedule. James and his crew showed up earlier than scheduled time and waited until I showed up at the pickup location. They were very cautious and made sure the piano gets delivered in a great condition. James also inspected the piano at free of charge. Thank you!

    Answer from pro:

I'm so glad that the used piano buyer in GTA are getting smarter every year. 10 years ago, high percentage of the piano I was moving were good on outside but not bad shape on inside. Now most of them are Good on inside. I think that's because of the internet. People share's good information more and more. Our website is one of good places to gain knowledge when you decided to be a good piano hunter. I hope many people can utilize it before make a decision.

Piano moved from Vaughan to Caledon

I was moving my treasured grand piano that my parents bought for me when I was 14, from their home in Vaughan to my new home in Caledon. Another company gave us the run around for over 6 weeks, and cancelled 3 times with merely hours notice. My husband found piano inside online and emailed them on a Saturday afternoon. They were willing and available to move the piano the following Sunday morning. The three gentlemen handled my treasured piano so carefully, they wrapped it with blankets to ensure its protection. They were courteous, and polite, treating both us and both houses with respect, laying down carpets to walk on so as not to dirty the floors. I am so grateful to have my piano in my new home and can't wait for James to come and tune it once it has climatized. Thank you so much James and crew.

    Answer from pro:

I promise you that I will do my best for the tuning as I did for the moving! See you later.

    Piano Move

James and his crew came on time, and worked very efficiently to move a piano into our home in Markham. We are looking forward to getting him back to tune the piano, now it has acclimatized to its new home. Wonderful to have music back in the house!

    Answer from pro:

Normally it takes about a month until it settled to new climate after moving. Thanks for your patience.See you soon.

    Professional and hassle-free move

James responded to my email request right away with availability and a competitive price. He was friendly and professional and quick. They understood complicated instructions well in terms of locations and someone on my behalf in one location, dropping off at another location. Would recommend him.

    Answer from pro:

Much appreciated. Thank you again for your time!

    Surprise Piano!

I found the perfect piano to give to my partner for X-mas but wanted it to be a surprise! James and his team got the piano in (while she was out of the house) with hours to spare before she returned! They were respectful and friendly and I would recommend their service.

    Answer from pro:

Frankly we didn't know it was a surprise. Now while reading this review, just imagining how happy and surprise your parents can be makes me smile, Thank you very much for sharing such a good part of your life with us!

    Piano Move

This company was not willing to move my piano upstairs after I paid for his service moving it from another location. I decided later that I wanted to move it upstairs and they said they could not do it because it was too big. I measured it and sent pictures. He still said he could not do it. I called another company and they said they could. My guess is he didn't want to drive the distance just to move the piano just upstairs - not enough money in it for him. Like a cab who won't drive a customer short distances - same deal. I would have paid for his time. Annoying.

    Answer from pro:

You hired us on 2014 nov 27 th to move your piano from Toronto to Thornhill At then you asked me to move it upstairs over the e mail so I asked information, you gave me the measurement, after checking it was too narrow for us so i said no. You agreed and hired me to move it just from house to house. No more than 5 steps. You paid $220 for the moving from main floor to main floor. You asked us again to move it upstairs once we arrived to the destination. We checked the space with our eyes, and it was not possible. So we said no, again. More than 1 year passed,2016 jan, you sent me an e mail and asked to move it to upstairs. I asked pictures, you sent me 8 pictures And my answer was still NO because nothing has changed. You said you measured it, we just need a strap to do the job. In my eyes we need space for the people also if you lift up the piano on the landing, the other top side of the piano will hit the wall and damage it. Your question was 2 d , and our answer was 3d. Next day morning you putted this review on homestars. Based on your "Assumption" not the fact. The fact is we have a guideline about the safety. Your staircase is too narrow to make 180 degree turn for us. We need more room to stand on both side of piano to lift and turn. There may be a company who has stronger person i know that, but we are not. So we said NO for the safety not the money. Would you mention the name of the company who said they can do it to you please? I already asked it over the e mail to you and you are not answering for 3 days. So i have a doubt about actually some other compan showed up in that evening and said yes. Also you didn't mention that they actually did the job. Just letting you know that We are freemen not slaves. We have a right to say no when its's needed to avoid damage, injury, accident. Its always better than say Yes and regret later.

    Lucked out

James and his 2 team members were polite and prompt. The piano literally got the "red carpet" treatment! (James lined the pathway with carpet from the door to where the piano would be which happened to be on the other side of the house.) Our house is a new construction and unlabeled, but they were patient and found a pathway through all the construction debris to our door. PianoInside came up on a google search but I am sure that if I knew anyone that used his company before that they would have recommended James to me. They are also competitive compared to the big companies and I feel like we lucked out with them. We also plan on using his piano tuning services and if his tuning skills are as good as his piano moving skills we are lucky indeed!

    Answer from pro:

.......I might need to wash the "red carpet" in near future. It's getting darker everyday. I still remember how "Pure RED" it was when I purchased it. Ahh....all Missing those good old days...

    Piano moved

The guys at Piano Inside did a great job moving our piano into our new home. They were very professional and friendly, but most importantly they were careful with our piano and our home (floors, front doors, other furniture, etc). I'm really glad we used Piano Inside to move our piano and I have already recommended them to a few people.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for the review. We were glad to move your piano too!
