Was wanting to get a heater installed in my detached garage before winter, and especially before the ground froze as I also needed a gas line run from the house to the garage. Brent got back to me the same day I called, came next day to give an estimate, and showed up on the arranged day to do the install. He did a neat, professional job, and I am very happy with the results!

Brent and his crew were great to work with, they were on time and did the complete installation in a few hours. The crew were very friendly and we felt comfortable having them in our home. The clean up after the job put our home back to the way it was before they did the work. Really good contractor!

Called ShiftAir for a quote on an air condition and garage heater install. Made an appointment with Brent for Monday at 6PM and he showed up right on time. Brent was very knowledgeable about HVAC and didn't try to oversell me but rather explained to me why I didn't need more costly devices. He promised me a quote the next day and I received it with the pricing we discussed. I booked the install with him and will report back once that is complete.

If I could, I would give Shift Air Mechanical a score of 100 out of 10. I was dealing with another "plumbing" company here in Calgary who advertized that they did air conditioning work. They attempted to overcharge me. After getting their inflated quote and getting the run around from some people in their office, I felt that I was getting ripped off. After I told them to take a hike, I contacted Shift Air. It turned out to be the best call that I could have ever made. Brent was fantastic to deal with, he came over very quickly, was very throughout and honest in his assessment of my problem. While this other company (who is on this site and has a large number of 10's - surprising) quoted me $4500.00 worth of work (almost entirely unnecessary), Shift Air had my air conditioning unit up and running for 8% of the other quote, a savings of over $4000. I would recommend Shift Air for any of your HVAC needs. As long as they are in business, Shift Air will always be my first call.

Brent did a great job of installing AC into our small condo. South facing and with huge windows we needed a solution that would cool the apartment and comply with condo board rules. The rules are very strict and Brent was excellent at navigating these and finding the right unit for us. The condo board were happy to approve the work. The AC works really well and the condo is now blissfully cool.

On March 2013, I started my research on installing central air into our home, in preparation of the warm season. As any reasonable home owner would (and should) do, I had multiple quotations from various HVAC companies. Brent of Shift Air Mechanical was the last contractor to visit us, upon a recommendation from my neighbour. From the onset, Brent was very professional and answered all the questions I had for him. He determined that we would need a 3-ton and a 2-ton units in order to cool our house properly. This was spot on as the previous HVAC quotes were sizing similar tonnage, give or take 0.5 tons. At no time was he pushy or tried to up-sale. He listened to our needs and on the following morning, I received a quote via email. I was pleasantly surprised by the price as he came quite a bit under, compared to my previous quotes. On the day of install, Brent and Scott showed on-time (7:30 AM) and immediately got to work. Brent didn't leave until around 6 PM which tells me the job wasn't rushed. The install itself was clean, tidy and very professional. The workmanship definitely shows. After cleaning up the trash, Brent showed us the system and answered any questions I had. My wife and I are happy with our AC install and are looking forward to staying cool in the upcoming hot weather! If you're looking for a quality HVAC company, I highly recommend you talk to Brent of Shift Air Mechanical.

Furnace broke down for 3rd time of the year. Previously had other company repair. Have always had difficulty contacting other company. Tried Shift Air (on a Sunday by the way) and after explaining how the cost of obtaining necessary parts would be more on a Sunday came in first thing Monday morning and had the furnace up and running.

WOW...where do I start? After having another well-known plumbing company rated on this site come and "check out" my furnace for not running yesterday, they gave me a quote for anywhere from 784.00 to MAYBE fix furnace, to $2272.00 to FOR SURE fix it. Overlimit heat sensor acted up because of a dirty air filter. I told them I wanted to get another quote. When they guy left he said it probably wouldn't keep running for long. So last night I called Brent at Shiftair, and he promptly arrived at 8:30AM this morning. After spending an hour checking the system out, and REPLACING the heat limit switch he charged me a TOTAL of $213.00 including travel, service call, labor, AND the heat switch !! So by calling Shiftair, I paid $213.00 INSTEAD of $2272.00 !!! Now THAT is what I call a difference in quotes !! Brent also showed me where the technician yesterday had cut one of the power wires off under the furnace, so the fan would stop after he left. Hmmm....BBB or Homestars....I think I've said it all here. I 100% recommend this company !! I've got enough left over for a VERY LARGE steak dinner tonight. Great job Brent

I was very happy with everything that was done. I was given a qoute and that is exactly what it cost in the end. I would, and have recomended this company to freinds and family. the instalation was very nicely done. THANKS : )
