"I normally don't sleep very well the night before a job like this..." Owner Brent of Shift Air Mechanical shared this with me after replacing my broken down furnace. And after experiencing his work, I can understand why he has problems sleeping: He cares too much. "Competent", "thorough", "resourceful", "reasonably priced", "honest" could all describe Shift Air and Brent, but more than anything, the guy "cares". Cared that I had no heat when my furnace quit on me during the holidays in minus 20 degree weather (appalled when company that 1st responded to my emergency left my family with no heat overnight), cared enough to forgo his New Years Eve plans, wake up early New Years day and grind all day until my family had heat again. And during the process was able to point out deficiencies in the prior installation and rectify them during his install. Rarely do you find Mechanical companies that are BOTH excellent at what they do AND reasonably priced... Thanks for caring Shift Air.

I accepted Brent's bid for my Air Conditioning install because he was knowledgeable about the equipment and city regulations. His workmanship is very tidy. I did a lot of research online in regards to product and why so many A/C units fail. Ultimately it's the result of a poor quality install, so qaulity of install was my priority. His price was reasonable and he didn't try to up sell me a unit.
