Peter and Wendy had a very quick grasp of what my wife needed. The cabinet is a perfect fit in a low ceiling basement. 6 drawers at the bottom and display shelves on top. Now, I can't keep my wife out of the sewing room! We will for sure hire them for a future project, for card making supplies.

They made the closet of my master bedroom and I really like it. They quality is great and they gave me guarantee. The installment was excellent, at the end everything was clean. Only thing, be aware that they are expensive even though they made a great job.

When you find a good company to work with, you want to recommend them. Working with Peter was a delight. He sat with us, patiently going through all the various options to make the most of a space that was very poorly designed by the builder. Together we crafted a creative solution that gained us easily 2 1/2 times the storage potential in the exact same space. We now have a beautifully organized space for two with more than enough storage. In fact, we have extra space, whereas before, the same area was a cluttered disaster. Great service, excellent follow-up and would definitely recommend and use them again when we are ready to move ahead with our next organizational space challenge.

We hired Peter Selwyn to design a closet system for a mudroom that we had recently built. He came up with some thoughtful suggestions as to design that I had not considered that we went with. He was professional and completed the project when he said he would. He was punctual and respectful. We would definitely recommend him.

I had two unconventioal spaces that i wanted to convert to drawer and closet space. I wanted to maximize the use of the space. Peter Selwyn presented good ideas and did a really excellent job. He lost one point because he was a bit late in getting started.

Peter Sewlin did my sewing room closet, two wardrobes and a bookshelf in our office downstairs. They were jobs in small spaces, and the new closets really help to utilize our exsisting space. He was very easy to work with and listens to what you need and came up with very good ideas. One thing we liked is that he could make the closets exactly to fit our rooms.

Tailored Living of Ottawa was the least expensive of three quotes. Flexible with design and full of options and ideas to make the space work with every corner being utilized. Peter and Wendy were wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and punctual with time and ordering. Peter drove to Toronto (4 hrs) instead of having items shipped when some of the order was missing to stay on schedule. Our closet looks fantastic and we can't even fill all the space they created!!!

- This summer we contacted several closet companies. Frankly, the ones we approached with our budget all appeared similar in their offerings - After several competitive bids, we settled on Tailored Living because of: (a) the iterative process they took us through before we were able to reach an optimal design (e.g., we settled on custom shelving widths of 3/4" versus 5/8" as we wanted something a little more substantive); (b) clearly articulated knowledge of how to do a proper installation (baseboard treatment, etc.); and (c) the engaging and earnest demeanour of proprietors Peter and Wendy; they were genuinely invested in the success of the project and our satisfaction. - Tailored Living was easy to work with throughout the implementation phase- as an example, we ran into problems with flooring that had been installed in our closet area by another supplier, throwing a wrench in the schedule to install the closet. Peter and Wendy were understanding and worked with us to postpone the planned installation up until such time as we were ready to proceed. - Final installation was professional and without compromise, as hoped. Little details (e.g., unfortunate placement of electrical outlets) were carefully considered and workaround plans discussed with us before moving forward. After a summer of arguing over jobs done by other contractors in other areas of our renovation, it was frankly a welcome reprieve. - Overall - would highly recommend Peter and Wendy if you're looking for excellent value, conscientious and respectful follow-through, and solid workmanship.

The Selwyn team was excellent, they were able to take my ideas and put them into thier computer to come up with an amazing design for our master bedroom closet that we really thought was outstanding. I am totally satisfied with thier work and highly recommend closet tailors to anyone.

Although we had a good idea of what we wanted for the front entrance closet Peter helped us to plan a very functional front entrance closet. He delivered on time and did a good job installing the closet organizer.
