Drawing for a double car detached garage

I was looking to have a garage designed. It was 24 X 24 on concrete slap. The garage has 2 single car garage doors in the front as well as single car garage door on the back. Crowhurst design was professional through the entire process. We did not live in the same city however that did not make a difference as Gordon was always available for questions. I would recommend this company to any with a small or large project. You will not be dissappointed.

    Condo Renovation

As part of our condo renovation we needed to remove three partition walls. This required us to obtain a building permit from the City of Toronto building department. We took our hand drawn drawings to City Hall along with forms we had filled out. According to the City of Toronto website it looked like we could fast track our permit. This was not the case and we were told that since it was a condo in a large buiding we required architectural drawings. We contacted Gordon at Crowhurst Design. He responded quickly by coming to our condo, reviewing our requirements and was able to provide us with the drawings and also the paperwork we required within a short time frame. We then submitted these to City Hall and got our building permit. Gordon was easy to work with and was very responsive to our needs.

    Drawings and Plans

Gordon provided us with drawings that were presented to the city of Toronto so we could get structural and plumbing permits for our basement renovation (excavation, underpinning & waterproofing). Years earlier we engaged the help of an architect who did full drawings of all the elevations in our house. Gordon was able to use that CAD file and modify the basement elevation to our needs thereby saving the cost and effort of issuing all new drawings. Gordon is very easy to work with. He visited our property to take the initial measurments and to understand our wish list and came back quickly with results. We enjoyed working together over a web conference to modify the final copy. Our permits were issued without hesitation due to the accuracy and detail on Gordon's drawings. I may still engage the help of a decorator/designer before we do the final finishes like the room sizes and orientation of the bathroom etc. Our basement space was difficult to visualize when it was damp, dark and dirty. I have already recommended Gordon to a realtor in our neighbourhood.

Engineering plans for building permit for retail space

Gord was always reliable and upfront in all his dealings with me. He didn't promise anything he could not deliver. As a matter of fact he always went way beyond what I hired him to do. I highly recommend Gord and Crowhurst Design.
