BEWARE OF THE FAKE REVIEWS. THEY WILL OFFER YOU 10% OFF TO GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING. GRAND ALARM IS WELL KNOWN FOR SHADY PRACTICES. THEY HAVE SO MUCH COMPLAINTS ON BBB. Com. WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL OUT MY CONTRACT, THEY KEPT DELAYING MY REQUEST AND KEPT BILLING ME FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS.

It is very difficult to reach Grand Alarms. Their phones constantly have a long wait time. If you decide to leave a voicemail, do not expect to get a reply. Their email response times are very slow as well. Once you do reach a person though, they are friendly and helpful. With that said, if they do not care about bringing on new customers, I am concerned about their service for existing customers, especially those on contract. When installing our alarm system, we had to have two separate visits because the technician did not have the right sensors in stock, even though I requested that they do well in advance. After both visits, I had to make follow up phone calls to Grand Alarms to ensure all the tasks were completed (I was waiting for more than a week after each visit without any news). Since the installation troubles, everything has been working smoothly. They do require that you sign on a contract, but their monthly fees are reasonable and you save a lot in the cost of the hardware. Grand Alarms is good when you can reach someone to talk to.

Had grand alarms install an alarm system in my house. Alarm technician was courteous and he cleaned up any mess afterwards. After about a month, I had an issue with my front door and the technician can out to fix it. So far I am quite satisfied with their service and their monthly price was the best I could find.

We have been with Grand Alarms since we purchased our new house, they were the existing alarm company in set up in the house, the monthly fees were reasonable and so we decided to continue with them. They have been amazing since with their service. Last month we changed our windows and doors, they send the technician, who worked with our installer to reinstall the wires, was very friendly and gave us new, cool looking, keypads with no extra charge. They really took care of us. Now this is called client service. Well Done Grand Alarm!!

Thank you Grand Alarms! We just recently moved into our new home and chose Grand Alarms for all our security and home automation services. The Neo alarm works great, and we really love the Control 4 system. We also had them install our vacuum. All the installers completed the work in a timely matter and worked around my schedule to make sure it was convienent for me. The alarm installer also showed me how to use the ALARM.COM app which is very user friendly and a must have in my opinion. Thanks once again, and I will continue to use Grand Alarms for many years to come.

We signed up for a 4 year contract with Grand Alarms. Biggest mistake ever. Last year we had a raccoon enter our house while we were away. While our alarm was armed, the raccoon went all over the house (it left footprints to prove it was here) and the alarm never went off even though the raccoon ran past the motion sensor. We called last summer to let Grand Alarm know that the motion sensor wasn't working (we tested it from home) and a year later they still haven't sent a technician to look at it. They keep saying they will call back and never do. Every time you call them they say they will call back in a few minutes because they have to escalate it to a technical department but seem to disappear into a technical black hole. Now we have another issue with one of the contact sensors and it has been a month of us trying to reach them but they keep saying they will call a technician to come replace our system... Still waiting. Every time we call back we get a different representative who doesn't seem to know about our previous call and says they will 'leave notes'. It' s been a long (almost) 4 years with them and we can't wait until our contract is done. But judging by the other negative reviews, when time comes to cancel our service, it might be a headache too. Save yourself the headache and sign up with another alarm company.

Great initial service with Grand Alarms. Mary was very informative and patient with us as we set up our pre wiring and alarm with our new build home. She assisted us with the process and took the time to see us a second time to answer some other questions.

The termination/completion of the Phone/TV Cable jacks in the entire house was not quoted by the builder (just rough-in provided by third party - Grand Alarms), Tina Mah has arranged the termination with plate installation in the entire house at no extra charge, what have impressed me very much, she was so kind, best recommendations, really nice to deal with.

Very fast, efficient estimate system and a great product. Sales team is respectful and not pushy, but willing to offer excellent complimentary products. Grand Alarms did a great job with my upgrades!
