After receiving two quotes (one for $6,000 & one for $13,000) and and time estimates to complete the work of two weeks, I found GreenStream. They quoted $3.00 per square foot and two days to complete the work. They were exceptional to deal with in every way. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise. Thank you GreenStream for you honesty, directness and unbelievable work ethic from your crew.

We needed to get Asbestos removed from basement & bathroom in our newly purchased home as per mortgage lender's request. Manny and his crew did an excellent job. Manny provided a quote in a quick turnaround (we needed this to close our house) and came and did the job in one day. Manny detected more asbestos in the garage ceiling once he was onsite and removed them without extra charge as well. Manny and his crew left the house really clean afterwards. We were impressed. I must say that Manny has restored my faith in contractors. I'd hire this company again and recommend them to family and friends without any hesitation.

I can see now why they get 10 out of 10 Stars. Read all the other reviews for more details. Efficient, and the clean up job afterwards was above and beyond what you would expect. We had been planning a basement renovation for a couple of years and had our contractor ready to start. As part of his due diligence he had the popcorn ceiling in the basement tested for asbestos as he had seen this before. I called various companies and was disappointed to learn that many of the removal companies also did their own testing. Called up Greenstream and described my project and he told me that they performed no testing as it is a conflict of interest. He passed along two or three environmental testing companies and I retained the services of one of them for the testing. Unfortunately, the results came back positive and I once again called back Ighor to provide an onsite estimate. He arrived at the agreed upon date and time. We went through the project, he was a very thorough in his description of the work to be performed, what type of abatement it was, how it would impact our family etc. I did have three other quotes and found that Greenstream’s quote was the most thorough thorough, and I felt at ease dealing with them. On the day the job was to start, the crew arrived on time, Ighor introduced me to the site supervisor, we all walked through the project once again. They provided me a copy of the Notice of Project which was filed as per the regulation, a WSIB certificate in my name and also a copy of their Insurance policy naming me on their policy also. I was quite impressed! I pretty much turned over the keys to them and advised them of who would be providing the air testing and inspection. They took care of the rest. I hope no-one out there needs to undertake a type 3 asbestos project, but if you do, do your homework and give Greenstream a Call. Thanks guys.

We were in the process of selling our home when the home inspector noted asbestos paper at the heat registers. I was terrified hearing this as we have lived in this house for over 10 years. I searched online and spoke with a few asbestos companies about this. Many tried to scare me, telling me my house might be contaminated, and i would need to move out while they cleaned it up etc. I ended up speaking with Ighor at Greenstream and what a relief I found them. He explained to me that this was a common finding, that I shouldn’t be worried about exposure etc. Explained to me the process over the phone and provided me a very fair estimate. I booked the work right on the phone with him for a few days later. The crew arrived on time, started setting up the tents just as described on the phone, and went about their thing. Very professional, always courteous to me and our property. They left the house cleaner than when they arrived. I would highly recommend them.

Gilbert and his team came and removed asbestos from our very old home in Toronto. To accommodate us, they worked long hours and on the weekends (over the holiday season) to complete the project. Gilbert (the project manager) was very hands-on and professional. He was either on the job site or a phone call away if I had any questions or concerns. I was not home while the work was being done but Gilbert kept me apprised of the progress which was very much appreciated. After the completion of the work, they left the areas of my home in near spotless condition - in fact, cleaner then when they came in to do the job. I would definitely recommend GreenStream. Even though I probably didn't have to but I had an independent company perform air sampling and inspection after the job, and it passed 100%. My home is asbestos-free thanks to Manny and Gilbert's team.

I received excellent service before and after payment. I emphasis after payment because many companies dont care after you have paid them. In addition to the remediation work performed, i received very helpful feedback to prevent future concerns. The team was professional, reasonably priced and did a great job and i would highly recommend them.

Greenstream was prompt, reliable, thorough and a pleasure to deal with. They were also kind enough to allow payment in installments, understanding the strain of a sudden large expense on a family.

Great work from the GreenStream team! Gilbert did a great job keeping me informed as to what the work entailed. Sergio and team were in on time each day, and did a great job with the setup, vermiculite removal and the tear down. They were also very accommodating in changes to my schedule. There was some minor damage to the ceiling, and walls, for which they helped me address to my satisfaction. Great jobs, guys!.
