    Furnace repair

    We called when our furnace stopped working and a serviceman was here within an hour. He diagnosed our problem and quickly repaired the faulty wire. We had accurate estimates before any work was done and despite some challenges caused from previous contractors, he was able to get it back and running. We are so grateful and would recommend this company to anyone!

    Emergency Heating

    From the initial call with Vanessa to repair man Steven(8980) I was extremely happy. Quicker service than expected for a Saturday. Steven explained the maintenance plan which saved me a ton on my emergency repair. I'm glad they were the company I chose to call.

    Furnace

    Be very cautious with this company, as they charged $140 to diagnose that our furnace needed a repair & replace of the.."inducer assembly", which took all of ten minutes!. Yes, that's $840/HR to diagnose! Bootstrap then quoted $1000+ to fix it, but recommended replacement @ +$9k, through their so called truckload sale! Needless to say, I called a reputable furnace/gas contractor, they quoted $350 to repair the inductor motor. We went with the reputable co. Be very very very careful with Boonstra!

    Furnace and central air installation

    The Dan team was awesome! Ran into a small snag but they handled it like pros.Explained everything to us and made sure the temps are set for our personal comfort. Will recommend.

    Furnace service

    Stephen did an excellent job, called ahead, on time, explained possible issues going forward, professional. The service was done in a clean efficient manner . Options for other services were provided . Great job.

    Duct Cleaning

    Kyle and Chris were excellent. They worked efficiently and spotlessly, showing great respect for my home. They explained the process and showed me the resulting dirt that had been vacuumed out. They showed their points of entry into the ducts and left everything exactly the way they found it. I highly recommend this company!

    Furnace Repair

    Upon speaking to the General Manager of the company, I was given a full refund for the visit as stated below. The General Manager was both understanding and respectful of my concerns and I have no doubt that those concerns will be addressed going forward. Thank you Boonstra. We called Boonstra in May 2015 when our furnace stopped working. An appointment was made for May 20, 2015. Your technician arrived and assessed the situation and said we needed to replace a control switch for the approximate cost of $319.00. Our furnace is a Trane and was still under warranty, however Boonstra refused to honor the warranty because they did not install the furnace. Boonstra sells and installs this model of Trane furnace. When I made the initial call for service I was asked the age of the furnace, but was not asked if the furnace was under warranty. I was also not told that Boonstra would not honor any existing warranty. Trane was called while Steve was still in our house and confirmed that they would reimburse Boonstra for any warranty work done. Steve called the Boonstra office and the office said no. Unless we had Boonstra install the new switch and paid out of pocket rather than by warranty, I had no way to recoup the cost of the service call of $146.84. As the weather was getting warmer I left the service on the furnace until the fall when it was due to be cleaned. I called another service company other than Trane to do this work as well as re-assess the furnace. They cleaned the furnace and told us it was in good working order. He said he simply re-set a relay switch during the cleaning. The furnace has been working just fine all winter. I wrote a letter to Boonstra general manager on February 2, 2016 requesting a refund of my service call fee since they did not deliver , "The Right Service". Trane as well, did not understand why this company would refuse to honor this warranty. I have never received a response. Would I use their service again? No. Would I recommend them to other community members? No.

    Furnace Repair 2 Years After Purchase

    My furnace was broken when I came home from work yesterday. It was cold out and it was a snow storm. Boonstras sent a guy out to fix my furnace that night. The repair guy was Dave Schotsman, he was on time, curteous and very professional. I would recommend them to all based on this experience!

    duct cleaning

    Had a post-construction mess in the house. Nick and Chris did a fabulous job scrubbing out the ducts. They were efficient, careful of my home and belongings. They were also sensitive to my daughter who was home sick that day. They did a thorough and exacting job, explaining as they went what they were doing and why. A joy to have them in the house. Very pleasant chaps! Thank you Boonsta!
