I had a wonderful experience today with Boonstra Heating and Air! I had a great service man James. James was knowledgeable, kind and very clean!! Great service and price! Thanks guys!!

My furnace stop working, so after a quick research online on HomeStars and BBB, I decided to contact Boomstra for help. The customer service was very good, and the technician came within 3 hours of my call. After a quick check and a phone call he told me that my blower fan is burned, and needs to change it but it is going to be expensive. He quickly mentioned $600 cost, but when was to prepare the bill I was told that the $600 quote is only for the people on the plan, so to get that I need to pay $160 for a year ahead and $660 plus taxes for a Level 4 ( Severe) repair. When I reviewed the repairs included in Level 4, he highlighted "inducer assembly" as the repair, while he told me that he changed the blower fan- a level 3 repair. That should have been $474 plus taxes under the plan, and $593 without a plan. I tried to call the technicians for clarification and left a message at the office, but he never called back. Even more, when reading the small print, I found out that I singed for a one year plan, renewable if I don't call 30 days in advance and cancel it. While the customer service and work was OK- so far, the technician's ethical standards are not what I was expecting from what I've read online about the company. I definitely plan to cancel the plan and never call them again.

As in the past,yesterday we had our fall furnace inspection /service. Our technition , Ron was All Pro from start to finish, his focus was on the job at hand, and it was a job well done. Thank you Ron and Boonstra for your task acomplished. Ron brought certain issues to my attention ,with out the"Hard Sell" way that has become standard of late. Our initial consultation with Chris was most satisfactory. Aside from having the service done one day later than initially scheduled (due to an employee's unexpected illness) everything went very well. They dismantled the old furnace in spite of it being a difficult venture and got everything installed in one day; even having an extra crew over for a few hours to take care of the water heater. Tom and Matt were at our home for 12 hours to make sure everything was done and to our satisfaction.

My old Hoffman boiler converted from oil to Natural Gas was not meeting my expectations any longer. After getting several quotes from other vendors I contacted Boonstra. Chris was at my door the following day to evaluate and asses what needed to be done. The quote provided was what I thought to be fair. Four days later the crew was promptly at my door, and ready to get going. Chad, and his partner where very friendly, informative, and accommodating. There was considerable demo work needed to retrofit the duct work. The crew went above and beyond by removing things that would later have to be done by myself. I would like to thank them for all their efforts on this job (especially for the removal of the old baseboard radiator units :) ). The job was performed on time, and with no interruption to day to day living. I would surely recommend Boonstra to anyone in need of the same service.

Our unit broke down on the hottest day of the year. We have a baby and a severely impaired respiratory patient in our home and One Hour was incredibly prompt and helpful for us. Granted, we bought this unit only 2 years prior from them, but we were still pleasantly suprised at the level of service we received.

After the flood in Burlington 2014 called Boonstra to see if my Furnace as salvageaable. Prompt service yup needed replaced he called Chris and he was there in a couple of days, Chris is a pro listened to my concerns and gave me great advice. The insurance folks wanted their guy to come and look, their guy was no good. We went away on vacation and a month later finally got the insurance company to OK the work. Called Boonstra booked me for the very next day. Chris came by in the morning just to make sure everything was good. Daniel and Dan were great professional and nice guys. It was a pleasure to have them working in our house. Boonstra will always get my business. You can look all you want you will not find better Thanks guys

I researched sites online looking for someone to install a new humidifier on my furnace before the cold season. I sent a request to Boonstra and Chris replied very quickly with a quote. We emailed back and forth several times and he answered my questions right away. It was nice not be left hanging. We booked the appointment (an evening appt because of my crazy schedule) and at the last minute, I asked Chris if they could do a maintenance check on my furnace and AC at the same time and they complied. The technicians arrived on time, wore booties to keep my floors clean and did a great job...very thorough. My required job was researched, questions answered, job booked and completed within 3 days. The big company who used to have my business still haven't replied to my first email. Thank you...I appreciate the personal service.

Devon Williams was very helpful and professional when my 88 year old mother needed a new furnace. He took care of every detail, including arranging to have a gas line installed, and was very kind to her.
