    Gas stove repair

    We were pretty sure it was the ignitor, which someone online said was easy to fix, but I wanted to be safe. I picked this place because of the reviews. The repairman was nice enough but the repair took 15 min and the part was $90.00. Not only were we charged $204.91 for labour, but my husband paid cash and he did not have change - actually he never even checked his pockets so he got a $5.00 tip on top. Not impressed.

We would like to point out that included in the cost of your repair is a full 1 year warranty parts and labor, where the manufacturer only guarantees their part for 90 days.     Washer repair

    Having read great reviews here, I called Terry this morning about a problem with my Whirlpool washing machine. He arrived promptly and repaired and secured my washer which was unbalanced. Great fast service for a great price. Will definitely call again and happily recommend for any appliance repairs.

    Fridge repair

    The fridge started making a noise & had stopped cooling, I called the appliance service center, explained the problem, gave him some information about the appliance & he was there the same day with the right parts needed & repaired it within 1 hour of arriving.

    Stove door lock repair

    The door lock function on our stove had locked and had broke causing the oven door to remain locked, while beeping and giving us an error code. The error code told us we required a service call. I googled appliance repair and found Appliance Service Centre, which had good reviews so I made an appointment. I am extremely happy with the service, knowledge, and cost for the repair. Darcy was at my house right on time, was very polite and explained the problem to me as we'll as the pricing for service and parts. During his visit I asked Darcy about our dryer, where a fin had come unscrewed from the inside drum. He told me how to fix it and then proceeded to fix it for me, FREE of charge. It only took 3 minutes to fix but this kind offer from Darcy meant so much. It had been broken for 6 months or more and this gesture shows just how wonderful the company and employees of Appliance Service Centre are. Thank you Darcy!

    Gas dryer quit, won't start,burning smell

    I recall using Appliance Service Centre years ago so phoned them right away after finding review of their work on this website. The fellow I spoke to (Terry?) encouraged me to try to start the dryer again. And....it started...hooray. No service call, just good advice.

    originally a fridge repair (1 year ago) today a stove repair.

    About a year ago I chose terry based on reviews from this web site to repair my fridge. I had a good idea what was wrong with the fridge but was uncomfortable about doing the repair myself. Terry confirmed the problem and promptly repaired it. He worked around my schedule and had to travel clear across the city all for under 200.00. Yesterday my wife called Terry to look at our Gas stove, the oven wasn’t functioning, Terry’s partner came today (ON TIME) and he confirmed the oven’s igniter wasn’t achieving the ignition temperature required, he repaired it on the spot, this impressed me due the fact that that the only info provided on booking an appointment was the make of the stove, not even the year is was built was given. Cost of repair was 300.00. I will be using Appliance Service Centre again if incure any other appliance issues.

    Dryer call-out, un-repairable

    My dryer broke down, so I called these guys based on the good reviews here. They came to my house, took about 5 minutes to tell my wife the dryer can't be fixed, and charged me $90 for a 1 hour call. Certainly they could have told me on the phone trying to fix a dryer is not cost effective. A total waste of time & money dealing with them. I found an excellent new unit on Kijiji for $60. Very disappointed!

    Fixing a ring on a stove

    I found this company on home stars. They were on time, were able to get the parts I needed at a good price. They were clean and friendly and when their replacement part failed they came and replaced it for free.

    Repair Dryer

    Excellent response time to my request for an appointment, a call the night before to set the time of arrival and from there, prompt, friendly, professional service. Issue was diagnosed quickly, fixed and repairman was on his way ~ and all for a fair price. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

    20+ year old Maytag repair

    The reviews are all true! Our 20+ year old trusty Maytag washing machine stopped working so I went online to try to find a reputable repair service. After reading the reviews here I decided to try Appliance Service Centre Calgary, and I was quite happy with their prompt and reasonably priced repair of my washing machine. Terry came by and got the machine working again in no time. I hope they are able to continue to provide excellent, fast service in the future.
