    Electrical Work - Generator Panel

Very happy with the estimate process. Follow-up was timely and work was completed effectively. Work area was cleaned and additional work (found an incorrect junction box) was done at no charge. Friendly, capable service.

    Answer from pro:

    Bathroom Reno

We found out about Ring Electric when the contractor who was doing our bathroom reno recommended Ring for the electrical changes needed. We were very impressed with Bryan's punctuality, professional demeanour and knowledge. His recommendations were appreciated and spot-on. Any helpers he brought were polite and conscious to clean up after themselves. Highly recommend!!!

    Electric heaters and thermostats

After hearing many horror stories from friends renovating their houses, I was definitely impressed with the professionalism and quality of Ring Electric's work. The heaters and thermostats were installed with minimal intrusion into the wall, despite difficult room locations. As well, the team was great and always very friendly with my 2 year old (who was very interested in what they were doing). Would recommend Ring Electric Inc. to anyone.

    Electrical

Ring Electric Inc. came by to install three outlet on a dedicated circuit for me. Being in a new home build, I’ve spent a lot of time waiting for trades to show up. It’s nice to know that at least one company can show up on time and the day specified. In addition, all my emails were responded to within 24 hours. Bryan was able to schedule their visit on one of my days off meaning I didn’t have to take additional time off. James and his crew came in and after a brief tour went straight to work, no nonsense. Every step of the way was explained to me and any questions I had were answered adequately. They were very professional and the personal chatter was at a minimum. Everyone stayed on task and I noticed that they weren’t constantly checking their smart phones like some other trades I have dealt with. While installing the extra plug on the upper level (which was cleanly installed), one of the electricians found an issue with the GFI and so an extra task was added to the work order. An unforeseen expense but at least I know it’s working properly now and as I mentioned earlier, I’m in a new home (2010). They cleaned up after themselves and there was very little post clean up I had to do afterwards. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work to be done.

    Multiple electrical projects

We've been a client of Ring Electric for 5 years - they've done lighting for every room in our house over the years and added an additional fusebox. We've always been very satisfied with their work - very professional, very knowledgeable and always punctual. Mostly the same faces over the years, which I think also speaks well for the company. Would recommend them to friends and family.

    Answer from pro:

Leanne, we are very grateful for the comments and kind words. We have worked hard over the years to maintain the high standard and keep the customers coming back and telling others. Enjoy the lights. Bryan Verhulp, CEO Ring Electric.

    Add a sub-electrical panel

Before we put our house on the market, we didn't know we had issues with our electric panel. Until the house inspector showed us the double wired breakers on the pictures, we realized the existing panel needs some updates so as to meet the latest electrical codes. The first electrician who came to our house to do estimation advised that we need to change the large panel as there is no physical space available to accommodate a small panel. Changing the large panel means we not only need to pay for the more expensive panel, but also to get the ESA and Hydro Ottawa permits to shut off the power for one day to do the work. This would require approximately one month waiting period, which is not an ideal solution when the house is still on the market. After my husband invited Bryan to visit our house, Bryan suggested to move the close by HRVC pipe for a few inches so a pony panel can be installed besides the large panel. As soon as we accepted the quote, James and his two assistants came to our house the following day to make the project happen. After the big job was over, they didn't mind spending some extra time to change the bathroom light whose transformer was broken. Though fixing a light is a small job, it shows the crew truly cared about customers' needs and happiness. In short, our first experience with Ring Electric was excellent! The whole project ran seamless, the staff were courteous and professional, and the advice and work were outstanding! Thank you Bryan, James and your crew for your excellency! Angela and David

    Rewiring and LED lights

I had Ring Electric come out to my home couple of times, to rewire my basement and to install LED Lights. They showed up on time, were very professional and friendly group of guys. They knew what they were doing and did a great job rewiring. They also made few suggestions and improvements, which was very beneficial to me. I got home from work expecting to clean for the rest of the evening, but was pleasantly surprised when all was done, cleaned and vacuumed by the Ring Electric team. They also came to install LED lights in my basement and my experience with them was just as great the second time around. Electrical Safety Authority came out and passed the inspection with flying colors. My brand new LED lights look great and I would recommend hiring Ring Electric Inc. to anyone who’s looking for any type of electrical job, big or small. You will not be disappointed.

    Answer from pro:

Beata, we appreciate the comments. Good to hear that the LED lights worked out so well. You will notice the energy savings from the LED's and the lack of heat produced by standard halogen recessed lights. Enjoy your basement. Bryan Verhulp, CEO Ring Electric Inc.

Potlights, Pendant Lighting, Island Outlet Installation

I originally called Ring Electric as I thought I was having some electrical shorts in my kitchen outlets. Bryan visited my home and checked the outlets (turned out there was nothing wrong). He suggested that our kitchen could use some extra lighting which was something we were looking to have done anyway. We made our appointment for a few weeks later and the guys from Ring Electric showed up right on time. The crew were really nice and courteous and we went over some options before they began. The end result looks amazing. The kitchen is so much brighter and the new pendant lights look great. The crew were very professional and left no mess either. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ring Electric again.

    Answer from pro:

Chris, thanks for the review. Your feed back is deeply appreciated. Glad to hear we could brighten up your kitchen with LED recessed lights. Take care. Bryan Verhulp, CEO Ring Electric Inc.
