Efficient, on time and on budget. Cheerful guys, easy to talk to. Cleaned up after each project. Each job was well done.

I had been advised by an A/C installer that there were some issues with my electrical panel, so I wanted to get it addressed before selling my house next spring. After trying other electricians and not getting any response to my messages, Ring Electric promptly booked an appointment for me on my first call. The estimator who visited was very professional, and clearly explained the issues with the panel, which turned out to be minor. The service on the panel was done shortly afterwards, quickly and professionally. They even managed to fit me in earlier than scheduled, when they had a cancellation for another job. Excellent service!

The installers arrived on time as scheduled. Very polite and courteous. Covered their outside shoes before walking through to the dining room. Set up a tarp, measured and consulted us on preferred height from the table. Once installed, made sure the bulbs were properly installed, the dimmer worked and the glass globes had no fingerprint marks. Packed away all the protective material back in the box. Very efficient and professional from beginning to end.

Recently a Ring Electric Crew did some small electrical jobs around our house (Bathroom fan replacement, door bell work, etc). The crew did an incredible job! Great communication and a great service experience. Really appreciate the great work and we will certainly be using Ring Electric again for future projects.

Ring Electric did a great job with our rewire which included all-new wiring, of course, replacing old switches and outlets with modern ones, adding outlets where needed to bring rooms up to code, adding ceiling fans and replacing old light fixtures with three dozens potlights. They were careful to keep our old-school swirl ceilings intact which we greatly appreciated. A new 200 Amp panel was installed and the old fuse panel was updated and became a pony panel. Electrical power coming into the home was relocated to the other side of the home instead of over the backyard, a job that required working closely with Ottawa Hydro. We had two to six electricians working at all times. The whole team was professional, knowledgeable, respectful and keen to deliver on our more specific requests. Our house easily passed ESA certification. Highly recommend!

The work assessment flagged issues that we were already aware of - as well as other issues that surprised us. Recommendations and suggestions were given. Our home needed a complete rewiring of the older section, updating lighting fixtures, adding proper lighting in the garage, the list goes on. What seemed to be a big deal was all in a day's work for the team; in just one day, they cleaned up the very messy basement wiring and added proper lighting as a 'warmup exercise' as they made their way upstairs. Although they had to make several holes in the walls and ceilings to fish new wiring through in the upstairs rooms and bedrooms, they were careful about leaving wallpapered ceilings and walls intact by drilling holes in a closet instead. Not only that, but there was hardly a speck of dust anywhere to be seen after they cleaned up. Amazing. It's too bad that they don't have a (sub-)contractor to patch the holes after a major project like this. The staff was incredibly understanding: every issue that seemed complicated was met with 'we can do that', or 'done', or 'we can work around that'. Even making payments was easy. We hadn't received our new lighting fixtures when the crew was on site, but that wasn't a problem: they'll be back in a few weeks to finish the job. Rewiring a home is a major project, and we were confident right from the start that Ring Electric was going to do a good job. They did an excellent job, and it was a pleasure to work with everyone. Highly recommended.

After the big May storm left us with no power for several days, I wanted a complete stand alone back up generator fed panel. The panel fed my Natural Gas furnace and hot water tank and had feeds for fridges and freezers. This set up was assisted by the great people at Ring Electric. Fully knowledgeable, and focused on meeting my needs. I have used them several times and refuse to use anyone else.

From the outset, Ring Electric showed they were the best electricians that I've dealt with (4 others in the past). Their booking and quoting system is very efficient and Bryan is very knowledgeable and prompt with the site visit and quotes. The crews worked very well together (I believe there was an apprentice or two on site as well). They ensured the least amount of intrusion/ damage / exploratory damage was done while adding fixtures and pot lights to my 60s bungalow. They cleaned up far better than any other contractor I've had in my house. And the dialogue between them was very professional, light hearted and instructional (to the younger crew members) in nature as well (I'm a teacher and it's good to see knowledge in the trades being passed on). I'd definitely recommend Ring Electric to anyone again and we will be using them in the future for our electrical needs! UPDATE: A switch needed attention a few months later. Bryan came the next day and fixed it. Great follow-up service too!
