    WOW! Great Room Transformation

    Steven installed 25 ft of built-in cabinets wall to wall in our great room. Our experience from start to finish was excellent. Steven and his Team’s attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship is second to none. Steven is also very focused on a positive customer experience throughout the process. This meant we always felt comfortable that we were getting what we were looking for in the finished product. The pricing was absolutely fair and the end result was astonishing. It’s the showpiece of our home. I would absolutely recommend Black Forest again. Thanks Steven!!

    Exceptional work yet again! (Third project for me)

    Istvan and his team of craftsmen do an impeccable job. From listening to my wants, to working collaboratively on the design to crafting the final product, every step of the way is a pleasure. Istvan (Steven) is professional, quality-driven, and customer-centric. He is not happy unless you are happy. No detail is too small for his notice. And the guys he has working with him are old-school amazing craftsmen and paint technicians. He understands built-ins like no one else and has a creative solution for every problem. He offers a truly custom experience. This is my third project with him and won't be my last!

    Built-in kitchen bench with storage

    Working with Steven was a lovely experience. Not only was he on time and on budget, but what we really appreciated was his recommendations on ways to make our vision better. He was not upselling but providing practical and cost efficient advice. Now that we have seen Steven's work, we plan on using Steven next year for a larger project in our house. Would definitely recommend.

    Professional, On Schedule and Beautiful Craftsmanship

    Steve was professional, friendly, and efficient. The two bay window storage benches he built and installed for us are stunning. They are exactly what we wanted. It was a pleasure working with him; we’ll definitely call Black Forest Woodworking again when the need arises. Highly recommended!

    Custom cabinetry

    I have engaged Steven from BFW a couple times now. First for a custom designed/built desk for an office and more recently for storage in a basement as well as mudroom cabinetry/shelving/bench. His work is excellent quality, totally custom to your needs and always on time and on budget. Steven is highly dependable, professional and competent. Pricing is very fair and transparent. no hesitation recommending.

    Awesome

    Istvan was awesome from start to finish, both with communication and craftsmanship. He treated our project like he was doing it for himself. He adhered to all of his timelines and his attention to detail was very impressive. His level of care for our satisfaction was apparent from the moment we met him.     Built-In Bookshelves

    Steven was an absolute professional and built exactly what we envisioned. It took a little longer than expected but that's only because of COVID-19 causing delays in supplies. We had two custom built 10-foot bookshelves put into our 100+ year old house. Our walls and floors are slightly uneven, but you'd never tell based on how well Steven built the bookshelves. They fit seamlessly into the walls, tucked perfectly behind the baseboard and crown molding. We put some pretty heavy books on the shelves and they're still holding strong! If you can afford to pay a little bit extra, I would highly recommend Steven to build any of your custom cabinets/bookshelves.

    Den shelving/cupboards

    Second project from this company. Steven was very easy to work with, the design phase was simple and practical, and the end product was fantastic! I would definitely highly recommend!

    Family room bookshelf and TV built in

    This is the second time that we have used BlackForest Woodworking . When we decided to add the built in to our family room we only considered BlackForest . Steven responded to our call immediately and followed up with an on site estimate. The installation was completed in the agreed upon time line . The workmanship is exemplary. The work is done in a non obtrusive manner . They treated our home in a very respectful manner and left our house clean and tidy . The finished product looks amazing ! (The fireplace mantle and wainscoting was done previously by BlackForest). First rate !

    Built-in buffet

    We were referred to Steven by our daughter who had cabinets built in her bedroom and living room. We thought he did a wonderful job that we did not consider anyone else. Steven built a buffet in our dining area which matched our kitchen cabinets. We were very impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. He did a wonderful job and we would highly recommend Steven and his team.
