    Front walkway and driveway edging

    Fantastic service and quality. Really pleased with everything. Workers were very courteous and professional. Took the time and cared about how the finished product looked. Will definitely have them back.

    Burl-Oak Landscaping Inc. - A Challenging Company to Deal With

    I wrote a favourable five-star review of Burl-Oak Landscaping when my large landscaping project was completed in April 2021, because I was truly satisfied with the end result at the time. However, within my two-year warranty period, I had several cracked pavers and a problem with my waterfall installation. I reached out to the owner, Louay, to resolve the issue. However, he refused to accept that these problems were covered under the warranty, was difficult to reason with, and never visited my home to investigate the issues. The matter is now in Small Claims Court. What was most difficult in dealing with Burl-Oak Landscaping is that it operates out of P.O. Box business address (contracts and all email correspondence), meaning there is no physical address with staff to meet with and deliver correspondences to (including legal documents). While Burl-Oaks sales and marketing team were pleasant to negotiate my contract with, do not be misled by their promises. Ultimately, Louay executes the projects and makes all business decisions on warranty matters. If you have a problem, you will be dealing with him.

    Exceptional company!

    We needed a company to redo our backyard patio. Having gone through an excavation due to poor grading by the previous owner, the yard was a mess. Mark and Louay were fantastic to work with. They offered many design options, were patient with the process and completed the job quickly, with precision and exactly on budget. I would highly recommend Burloak Landscaping to anyone!

    Retaining Wall

    Lou'ay and his team showed up to my house to estimate on rebuilding my 11 foot retaining wall holding up my backyard. The team was very professional the entire time and worked with us to come up with a design for the new wall and patio section. Lou'ay gave us suggestions we hadn't even thought about and it was clear we were dealing with someone who had done this sort of work before. Looking forward to working with Burl-Oak Landscaping in the future.

    Backyard Patio and Fire Pit

    Burloak Landscaping did a fantastic job removing an old deck and aboveground pool and installing a large patio with a natural gas fire pit and custom pergola to surround a hot tub. The entire project was done in less than 2 weeks. Louay takes great pride in his team's work and makes sure it is done right. They use high quality materials and have a skilled crew. Louay checked with me at every major step to reconfirm the plans and make sure we were happy. He also made good suggestions along the way, small touches that contributed to an excellent result. Lastly, I want to recognize his carpenter, Michael, for working from a couple of photos and discussions to create a pergola that was exactly what we wanted. I absolutely recommend Burloak Landscaping for your next project!

    Driveway, steps and porch

    Great service, timely communication. They helped with colour selection and design. Team was very friendly and accommodating. Louay the supervisor was friendly and professional. The whole job took about 3 days, they clean up after.

    Backyard Patio

    These guys are the real deal! From the very beginning they were professional and run a tight ship. Aside from just using great quality products at affordable prices, they were hard working and met their targeted deadline. On top of it they were open minded when I wanted to change my original plan (in the middle of the build) and respectable to everyone (especially to my neighbors); which is all very important to me! This company truly believes on making their customers happy and they did just that!!!... This company is my go too from now on for me, my family and friends! Thank you again Mark and Lou'ay for all your help and for making my backyard look better than i thought it ever would!

    Backyard “dogscaping”

    I needed my backyard redesigned for my very energetic Golden Doodle. . All of the grass had been torn up from the dog’s running and I was desperate for a solution. Mark totally understood and was so professional. He did his best to keep the costs down and welcomed any ideas that I had. His crew were awesome. They were so efficient, working together and finishing the whole project within a day and a half! I still can’t believe that it is my backyard! Neither can the neighbours! The dog is very happy too!

    Landscaping: driveway, walkway, and pathway

    We recently had a new driveway, walkway, pathway and garden walls installed in front of our house. Our whole experience from the beginning to the end was excellent. Mark was very patient and helpful in explaining all options and all details. Louay, the owner, was very professional and knowledgeable and demonstrated a great leadership. Under his direction, the team consisting of three to seven people worked very hard and efficiently. They were really well organized and dedicated to their work. The job side was always cleaned up at the end of each day. It took them only three full days to complete the job! We are thrilled with the results. We got many compliments from our neighbours about the work. We highly recommend Louay, Tony, and the entire Burloak team for the professional workmanship. We will definitely be using them for our future landscaping projects.
