    Front entrance hardscape

    From planning to execution, our experience with Burl Oak Landscaping has been positive. Mark was extremely helpful in selecting appropriate design elements, and materials that were within our price range. He even met with us at the landscape supplier on a Sunday, so we could explore different product options and colour combinations. We were not rushed into making decisions, and we appreciated Mark’s patience, candor, and responsiveness. The work team was excellent and efficient under Louay’s leadership. The project was completed over two short days, and the work site was cleared of debris before the crew left. We are very pleased with the look of our front porch, steps and walkway. Thank you to the entire team. We highly recommend Burl Oak Landscaping.

    The backyard of our dreams

    Working with the Burloak team on our backyard was a wonderful experience. From our first interaction, to planning, and through to the work itself, the crew was thoughtful, reliable, and did exceptional work. Plus, they were creative in the design and construction process to save us money and end up with a product that would give us more joy than we ever thought possible. We’re thrilled with our new backyard and it’s all thanks to the Burloak team. Truly. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, hardworking and extremely knowledgeable crew, don’t look any further!

    New Patio, walkway and porch

    We selected Burl Oak Landscaping based on its good rating on Homestars for a project we did in the early summer of 2018. We had very good meetings with Mark who was friendly as we walked through the ideas for the project. Project was led by Lou'ay and I must say I was impressed on the speed and the quality of the project. I really wanted to give a higher rating however the reduced score was due to client servicing relating to several of the patio stones stained from some liquid from some of the equipment the workers used. I highlighted this to Lou'ay at the end of the project. He said he would take care of it "shortly". Over the past year, I contacted Lou'ay and Crystal approx 23 times by phone, text and email to find out when they would rectify the issue. They were friendly and said they would deal with it as soon as they could however 14 months later they have not made good. They did show up 1 day when I wasn't home however the gate to the yard was locked as they came unannounced. No subsequent effort to come was made despite our frequent communication. At this point, I believe I have been patient and respectful yet I have given up. Its unfortunate because I found the overall job to be quite good.

    hello Dom. sorry weve been having issues trying to communicate. we are definetly still interested in fixing this issue for you but due to the fact that your back yard gate is locked we are hesitant to gove you a solid date because of constant delays in our industry. weather being the most obvious factor for delaying us. we have shown up twice to fix the issue but with no luck as no one was home and the gate was locked. we will continue to try, and hope we can resolve the issue shortly. Thank you for your patience and I'm confident we will sort this out shortly.

    Front Entrance and Garden Wall Project

    We are very pleased with the landscaping done by Burl-Oak Landscaping. Our initial meetings with Mark were very informative and he made some great recommendations for materials and colours. Communication with Crystal went smoothly and she was helpful answering our questions. Louay and his crew did a great job and finished it quickly. When we needed something to be fixed, they came as soon as possible and got it done. Some of our neighbours have even complimented on the polished look of our new front entrance. We hope to have Louay and his crew back in the near future for our backyard!

    From a total eyesore and danger zone to a beautiful new walkway and steps

    Besides the terrific work by Bur Oak Landscaping, it was the ease of communication between Crystal (main office) and us that just made things so much easier. Our project was an emergency and they put us into their busy schedule by keeping in touch and letting us know when they had a sudden opening. We had bad weather to contend with, travel plans that took us out of Canada and other unforeseen complications that were handled very professionally. The front steps and porch look so good now and it is a pleasure looking at what used to be such an eye sore. Thank you Burl Oak and Team!! We will recommend you for sure!

    End result was great

    Had very good experience with Burl-Oak back in April. We had our entryway, front steps and back patio re-done, and the end result was excellent. However, there were some hiccups. One business day before the installation, we were told the stone product we had selected was not available. We were told the replacement product that the company selected was of better value, but we couldn't confirm online, so we had some hesitation here especially after driving out of town to the initial manufacturer's location to pick product in person. (We were told this was a regular occurrence with this supplier.) Second, our front steps were initially built unsafe. I measured 7" tread depth - half of my foot would hang off the steps. Would have been disastrous in the winter. However, after pointing this out, within 24 hours Burl-Oak remade the steps - kudos to them for the fix, but of course we felt it should not have gotten to that point. From the initial sales call with Mark, to working with the lead Louay, the people at the company were a pleasure to deal with, and Louay really took it upon himself to be sure that we were happy with the end result. Everything looks fantastic.

    Burloak Landscaping

    Burloak Landscaping was very professional and efficient with there work. I left for work and came home to a fabulous new landscaped yard. The pride that all these men took in there work was like nothing I have ever seen before. The owner was more then accommodating and easy to talk to when figuring out a plan that best fit the needs of our home. We thank you very much. D&J.

    Backyard Interlock patio

    We are very happy and pleased with the back yard transformation completed by Burl-Oak Landscaping. The team was very large and professional and quick. They stated that the project would take 3 days to complete and they were true to their word. Due to the scale of the project a portion of our existing interlock walkway had to be lifted and a section of our fence removed to get access to the backyard. After completion, everything was put back together and left better than before. In fact, they re-installed and re-positioned my entire walkway, not just the area they needed to break to bring their equipment in. I would use Burl-Oak Landscaping for future projects and would recommend them without hesitation.

    Patio, walkway and landscaping

    Was done later than expected (due to weather) but once started, was completed in a timely manner. Good, respectful crew and they cleaned up the site every night before leaving. Very open to change: 1) Once the foundation to my pathway was put in place, I found the landing in front on the doorway way too big, even though it had been done exactly to the design specs. I spoke to Lou about it and it was changed to my liking without further ado. 2) I didn't like the way certain pavers were cut....they were replaced without hesitation. All in all, I love the end results and I have received many compliments from the neighbours!

    Front walk with low wall, capping of stairs and porch Oct/18

    We had several quotes for our work and chose Burl-Oak as they had the best ideas, and spent the most time with us to discuss our options. We are really happy with the completed project! Mark was great to work with and helped us figure out what would look best for the front yard. We were really impressed that Louay the owner was on the job site every day working with the team and keeping things on track. Rainy weather interrupted the work but they kept in touch to let us know when they’d be back and they arrived as promised. Our front yard is now the best on the street!! Thanks to the whole team.
