    Level & lay, stone steps

    BOTTOM LINE: Jovian and his crew were awesome. They were extremely professional, personable, hard-working, and the final job was amazing. These pictures here are an honest representation of his work. If you're serious about having work done, get these guys in. OUR STORY: My wife and I decided to do all of the rough work ourselves for a patio (approx 1000 sq ft) after calling local landscapers and receiving insanely high quotes. I wouldn't recommend doing the work yourself unless you have a serious plan, but it worked out really well for us. We decided to have a company come in, to finish the leveling of the screening and lay the pavers, as well as do a few stone steps from scratch. I hopped on Home Stars and started phoning the companies that were ranked the highest. Jovian from the start stood out to me. He answered the phone professionally (perhaps a small thing, but a huge difference from the 'Yup' I usually heard when calling). I explained the work we had done and what we were hoping to have someone in for. Jovian gave me a rough idea over the phone of how much it would cost (which was highly unusual, and extremely refreshing). He came out to our place that afternoon to see the work and was able to give us a precise quote on the spot (which wasn't far off what he quoted on the phone). We added another section of our property for him to do, a few days later, and between the two jobs the final total wasn't a penny over his initial quotes. It took him less than three days and we couldn't be happier.

    Stone Patio in the Backyard

    After receiving many quotes for stonework in our backyard, we selected Jovian to do the job. His quote was at the low end of the range we had received. Jovian and his crew arrived at about 7:00am and worked tirelessly throughout the entire day. Their work was top quality and we are thrilled with the result. We were amazed at the efficiency of the crew. They definitely don't sit down on the job. They finished at 6:00pm and left only after hosing down the road, sidewalk our entire driveway and the new patio. There was almost no evidence that they had been there, except for the fabulous new stone patio! We have seen other jobs in our neighbourhood (Leaside) and feel that Jovian's quality is a step above the rest. I give this company a strong recommendation, we would use them again in a heartbeat.     Re-design the paving between the driveway & entrance

    2 others came before... One asked for unbelievable price & other one gave me an oral estimate and when I called him for the approval "many times", he didn't come back to me! "Stone Landscaping" was correct... from the dealing to the coming back as promised & his work was all my request.

    New Stone Patio in Backyard

    In short these guys are great. Jovian, the owner, was involved from start to finish. He and his company took my drab and boring backyard and made it into an area I am proud to have people see and entertain in. The patio furniture was purchased while they were doing the patio so I could have people over the same night they finished. I have gotten nothing but rave reviews. I am the envy of my neighbours and friends Jovian was filled with suggestions from the minute he saw the space in the fall. He didn't just order grey stone. We actually discussed colours, size etc.. In the spring he remembered what was discussed we revisited everything. He handled my pickiness and changes, without issue. His design was flawless and I consider myself excellent with design, the patio fits my modern, straight line type of design. These guys work hard, are polite, punctual, personable, and take the time to do it right. They are VERY critical of their own work. I watched them lay stone, remove stone, re-level so many times I lost count. They even saw an issue with interlocking done by the previous owner and fixed it for me. They saw the issue and offered to fix it, I never asked. This attention to detail is what gives the perfection to the finished product. Patios are not cheap and you need the right guys for the job. These guys are it. I will be a repeat customer.

    driveway, walkway and patio

    Stone Landscaping recently redid our driveway and a walkway in the backyard and built a small patio. The driveway was a bit of a tricky job: it required building stone walls on both sides, it sloped down 6 feet or so, and required working around an old tree and a few other obstacles. The finished work looks fantastic. We are completely satisfied with the work and have received many compliments from our neighbours. It was a pleasure to interact with Joe and his team throughout this work. From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable working with Joe. He is knowledgeable and presented options (complete with a brochure) without being pushy. He provided a written quote by email and it was easy to communicate with him via Blackberry throughout the project for small clarifications. They worked solidly from beginning to end of the project with no delays. When a small adjustment was required for one of the stone walls after the project was completed, Joe returned quickly and cheerfully to address it. I will definitely recommend Stone Landscaping to my friends and neighbours for their projects.

    Retaining Wall and Patio for Pool

    We had reccently installed a pool that required some very creative landscaping design. We have a sloping backyard which resulted in the back portion of the pool sitting 2-3 feet above the ground. Joe constructed a 3 foot retaining wall with patio off the back-end overlooking the raving escarpment that has provided us with a breathless view. The job was done very professionally and looks amazing. At the beginning we did not know exactly what we wanted, and Joe provided both flawless delivery and design elements that exceeded our expectations Thanks for all the great work.

    Interlocking brick walkway, driveway boarder and flagstone steps and poarch

    This company was really professional, timely and a pleasure to work with. We are completely satisfied with the results, the quality of workmanship and visual appeal, and would recommended them without hesitation.

    Interlocking driveway, landscaping and outdoor lighting

    The project that we asked Jovien to do in the Fall 2007 was to replace the asphalt driveway with interlocking stones, design and install walkway to entrance and . provide landscaping, in-ground sprinklers and lighting at the front and backyard. We are extremely satisfied with the completed project as a whole. It enhances the curb appeal of our house tremendously. We are also impressed with the front walkway design and the low voltage lighting effect. At the start of the project Mr. Miller explained to us the materials being used, design and measurement of the diveway and walkway and the base material/depth for the driveway excavation. As we followed the project progress on a daily basis, all specifications have been met per contract and our expectations. The project was completed in a timely manner taking into account the size of the project which required a lot of cutting to accomodate the walkway design. Mr. Miller and his team showed a very professsional attitude and was very cooperative in addressing any of our concerns.. I will not hesitate to recommend him for any project that you are planning.

    irrigation installed and lighting for Landscape

    I had originally hired Jovian to do the irrigation system., When he saw my place he had such great ideas regarding my lighting. I had him do what he had suggested and my husband and I love our landscaping even more than ever since the lighting he put in really set the whole thing. Every year when he comes to open and close my irrigation he services any lights that need tending to or bulbs that need to be replaced. It is so great to have one person look after everything!!

    Landscaping

    The initial project was done efficiently, neatly and in a timely manner. No job is too small, because when we called back to add to the project, it was done with the same approach. It was a pleasure dealing with Jovian.
